Use of a 4 bedroom/ 2 bath house in downtown Richmond, KY with backyard fire-pit. Walk to the City Park, Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), Downtown, Shopping, Restaurants, Bars, 5 mins to I-75 & all Richmond has to offer. The Wellington was built in 1950 and has retained all her charm, along with her upgrades. There is a new concrete walk, front parking pad, front patio (with vintage patio furniture and umbrella in season), back deck (with commercial grill and deck furniture), landscaping, tree swing, and a fire pit with seating (coming soon).

This was such a perfect home for our campus visit to EKU. The owner was so responsive and the home was beautiful, well-maintained, and felt warm and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend this home for those reasons as well as walking distance to EKU and many restaurants.

Close to campus and downtown. Stepped outside Friday evening 12/1 to witness the Richmond Christmas parade running along adjacent Lancaster Ave. Was a sweet surprise just steps away. Plenty of room for a family of 6-8 without feeling cramped.

The place was very clean and so many small things there for convience in the kitchen and bathrooms.
TV in every bedroom. Lots of sleeping options and AC/Heat worked fabulously

We are friends from high school enjoying the autumn season in the country! Scenery was breathtakingly beautiful! The leaves had turned in such amazing colors! Food was great and the house was located in a good spot easy access to the freeway & shopping etc.

This was a perfect location for both a visit to Richmond and to Eastern Kentucky. Loved being able to walk up to a local coffee shop and having quick access to the university. Would absolutely stay here again. The only reason for 4 stars is that the property did not have laundry available - however, it was advertised accurately. I just overlooked that and being a family with teenage boys, it would have been a plus. But otherwise a perfect stay!

This was a great place within walking distance of EKU for my daughters college orientation. Very clean and comfortable beds. A great yard area is included if you are staying longer, as well as a grill! We would stay here again!

We had an awesome stay at The Wellington. The home was super clean. Accommodations were exactly as advertised on the site. We also enjoyed all the great spots to eat that are within walking distance.

House was very clean. Great location and within walking distance of a couple local restaurants. Beds were probably the most comfortable we have had staying at a VRBO. Lots of blankets throughout the house, which was perfect. They had everything you needed and then some. Very organized house. Host responds quickly too. The only con I have, is the upstairs shower has a window with frosted film cover. You can see through it enough to see a bit too much.
We checked, so don't shower at night unless you block it . We were able to block it with a towel but they may want to get a different window film for it. We had a great stay.

Loved the feel of home at every turn. ... even had a Christmas tree for us in the living room. And our family watched the Christmas parade from the front porch.
This was the perfect location for visiting with my daughter during her graduation weekend. We were all comfortable, had easy access to everything in the area and especially EKU events.

The house was very nice and clean. Well stocked with pots and pans. Keurig coffee pot with coffee (only decaf) and hot chocolate pods. We had a fire in the fire pit outback. The 3 queen beds were all so comfortable. Lots of places close by to eat. We visited White Hall Historical Mansion and Chenault Vineyard.

would stay again, communication and check in are rough, have to sign in every time to ask questions is a bit of a hassle, however owner did get back to us. Check in information could be available sooner than 15-20 min. before arrival

The process of renting was very simple. On the day of arrival I received a email with the fire code. When we left we simply collected our items and left.

We loved this cute house! Would absolutely be open to booking this again if we are in the area. We got in late and left early the next day (halfway point to our destination) so we didn’t get to stick around and explore but maybe next time!

The house is move in ready. Every little detail has been well thought out and I personally loved the Christian things you would see here and there. She worked with us to change a date when we needed to then to add a few extra days. You won’t regret renting this house!

Stayed twice
This property was very comfortable, clean and easy to get to from I-75. On our trip to Florida from Ontario, we stayed on the way there and on the way back.
Close to restaurants for take away meals and kitchen was well appointed.
