Situated in Seaside, this attractive house for £659 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. 2 KING, BUNK BEDS (2 DOUBLE BUNK BEDS, room sleeps 4) Dragonfly, formally known as the guest cottage Merilee, has the prime beachside location in Seaside. Located just one house back from the beach with stunning gulf views from the balconies, one block to the Seaside Amphitheater and air stream row, and only 10 steps to the East Pavilion beach access this cottage location if a preferred favorite of many families. Walk up the stairs and step into the glass surrounded great room with the turquoise seas calling. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves against the beach. Watch the famous gulf sunsets from the sofa, or walk the 10 steps to the beach entrance. Look out at night at the lights on the famed East Ruskin Pavilion right outside the windows. Take a stroll to Bud and Alley’s for dinner or a drink or perhaps an ice-cream at Heavenly Shortcakes. After sunning on the beach, riding bikes, or being our guest at the private Seaside Swim and Tennis Club, curl up in one of the (2) king master suites. Both feature king-size beds with plush linens to indulge. The second-floor king master has a private bath with double vanity and marble shower along with great ocean views and a gulf side balcony. The other king master is for the late sleeper and is located on the first floor with its bath with double vanity, marble shower, morning kitchen and screen porch access. The third oversized suite has two sets of double bunkbeds to comfortably sleep four with plenty of play space, a 32' TV, play table and chairs and a private bath. The home has been furnished locally for that great Seaside feel. The open concept kitchen includes stainless appliances and a GE stainless steel dual-fuel range. Vetrazzo (recycled sea glass) countertops and dark stained wood floors round out the fresh, clean look. This kitchen does not have a full size refrigerator. Directv HD is located throughout the house. There’s a large 46' LCD TV and DVD in the living room, along with 32' LCD TV’s in each of the three bedrooms. WIFI access is available throughout the cottage. 2 private off-street parking spaces are provided. This is the real deal for gulf viewing. You don’t have to hang over the balcony and stand on one leg to see the ocean. It’s right in plain sight and in full view from many vantage points. This was one of the original Anniversary Cottages (Completely re-done) at Seaside and overlooks the quaint Honeymoon Cottages that are in our front yard. Dragonfly is the cottage you dream of. Simple, quaint, cozy, beautiful and ready for your memories. *Saturday-Saturday rentals for Summer & Spring Break. (Spring Break 2023 is 5 night minimum) . Five night minimum in Spring; 3 night minimum for Fall, 2 night minimum Winter. Must be 25 years of age to rent and sign registration. This house was a perfect fit for our trip with 6 adults. The house is beautiful, location is fabulous! Beach access right out front door. Seaside just steps away. Everything was so easily accessible! Beach views from upstairs living room and porch! Trees do need to be trimmed down in front of upstairs deck so the beach view stays clear. We loved our visit and would definitely stay here again

We had a great stay! It was our first time staying on the ocean side and we loved sitting on the porch and being able to hear and see the ocean.
Great walking distance to everything in seaside. Right next to the beach access. Easy parking.
Property management was great and responded quickly to texting and sent reminders for check out.
My husband and I were with our parents and we loved having 2 king rooms.
We were worried it wasn’t a full fridge, but it’s actually pretty large and was plenty for the 4 of us and there is a separate freezer as well.
Would definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the Homeowner's Collection group. The house was in the perfect location, I didn't drive anywhere the entire time. This is the lifestyle I dream of. Everyone was so friendly in Seaside. The house was clean and beautiful, just as described. The views were perfect. I felt comfortable texting the management group about anything. From needing help to find the outdoor trashcans to setting up a beach bonfire. It was perfection.

Getting detailed information I needed in order to reserve beach chairs, etc., was tedious, so I recommend having a list of questions handy and getting a live person to comb through options, as opposed to writing back and forth, if this is your first time to seaside. You’ll need specifics in order to rent beach chairs well before they send a welcome email. The property itself is cute, had everything we needed, and was in perfect location for two adults and four tween/teens.

Merilee By-The-Sea is a wonderful and with easy steps to the wonderful Seaside Florida beach!
Merilee By-The-Sea is a clean and comfortable place for you and your family to spend a relaxing vacation watching the ocean go by! With two king size master bedrooms and a bunk room for the kiddies. A full size washer and dryer for those mid week cleanups. The kitchen and upstairs great room and outside patio has great views of the ocean. Even with two days of hard rain, the Merilee By-The-Sea was a comfortable place to spend time watching movies.
It is an easy walk or bike ride to the Seaside downtown restaurants like Great Southern, Bud and Alleys, The Taco bar and Modica's. For a great Breakfast, a short bike ride to Grayton Beach Black Bear Coffee house!
We love the sugar white sandy beaches of Seaside and the Emerald coast. The East Ruskin Beach Pavilion is right outside the Merilee By-The-Sea, a great place for pizza and watching the sun go down.
Merilee By-The-Sea is a great place for you and your family, we have stayed there several time, and we will be back.

Great place with a one minute walk to a private beach, no flip flops required for the walk. The heart of seaside another one minute walk. Beds are comfortable, with plenty of room in the bunk room for 4-6 kids. Would definitely rent again.

Fabulous family vacation
We could not have been happier with the house. With two master suites and a bunk room big enough for four kids everyone was comfortable. Being on the beach side of 30A was priceless. Thank you!

2019 Marilee Memories
Our 2019 summer Seaside vacation was one for the books! Marilee was right on top of the beautiful clear gulf for our 4th of July week. Can you say front row seats to the fireworks?!! The home was just divine and right on top of our favorite East Ruskin Pavilion . It’s so close to the beach I never had to wear flip flops! The home is decorated beautifully and created such happy feelings. The beds are super comfy, the newly remodeled bathrooms are fabulous, and the views from the upstairs porch and windows is to die for. The kitchen is stocked with all we needed to make meals when we weren’t taking advantage of being two steps away from all the food trucks! I thought not having a full sized refrigerator would be a challenge but it was no big deal. We had fun walking to Modica Market if we needed anything.
I have to say after coming to Seaside since 1995 Marilee is our favorite house by far.

Amazing beach cottage!
Merilee by the Sea is an amazing retreat in Seaside. It is decorated in such a comfortable beachy style. It is the perfect place to stay; close to the beach (you can see and hear the waves from every room), close to the town (to go get a bite to eat or a drink), but cozy enough to stay in , fix dinner and relax on the porch with a glass of wine. Merilee by the Sea has become our favorite place to stay on 30A.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is comfortable, well appointed, and spacious....good layout. We liked being in Seaside and right beside the beach walkover....actually did not use the pool passes. We would definitely book Meri Lee by the Sea again!

Perfect Stay!
Loved everything about this property, starting with the lovely owner Merilee! Perfect spot right near town (but not so close that it's too loud). The home is not large, but had everything we needed for our four girls. Great ocean views and the interior of the home is decorated and maintained beautifully.
I did have some concerns that our teenagers would have too much access in and out during the night since they were on the lower level and we slept upstairs...but honestly I think they were too tired to do anything past 10pm!
I'd rent here again in a heartbeat - thank you Merilee!!

This beach cottage was the perfect space for our family!
The home was comfortable and inviting. The furnishings were exceptional, just perfect for a beach cottage. It was more than enough space for our family of four-with 3 bedrooms and baths everyone had their own space to relax. While the inside of the home was amazing, I cannot say enough about the location of the home. We have visited the Seaside area numerous times and Merilee by the Sea has been our favorite location! We were just steps from the beach and the heart of Seaside. We hardly moved our vehicle the whole week! Our family is looking forward to our next vacation at Merilee by the Sea!

The Merilee is steps away from wonderful sunrises, sunsets and the wonderful wonder of the ocean....
The home was clean and easy access off of 30A and Bud & Alley's, our favorite place for lunch.
The rooms were comfy, spacious and very accommodating for both me and my wife, my daughter and son-in-law.
The back patio was a daily morning relaxing area to drink coffee and hear and watch the ocean!
We have been coming to Watercolor and Seaside for many years, the Merilee is a great beach experience!
We will be back soon and look forward to another wonderful time of beach life on 30A, Thank You and cheers to you all!

We spent a week at Meri-Lee by the Sea and had a wonderful time! The house is beautiful and has everything you could need to relax and soak in all that Seaside has to offer. The location is perfect! We were literally steps away from the most picture perfect beaches we have ever seen and able to walk to all of our favorite Seaside pastimes. We have visited Seaside and Meri-Lee by the Sea before but this was our first vacation with our son. I know it is a trip we will never forget!

The beach house, Meri Lee By The Sea, was WONDERFUL!!!! It was not only beautiful but it was very comfortable. I am a very picky traveler and I cant think of one complaint. The house was very clean and was supplied with everything we could possibly need. It was also in a wonderful location. Just steps from the beach and just 2 blocks from shops.

This is our 5th stay in Seaside and our first time to stay somewhere than our "usual" cottage. There are three of us - myself, my husband and our 9 year old son. In a nutshell, we have found our new favorite place in Seaside, Merilee by the Sea. Between the owner's treatment of us and the cottage itself, we are completely spoiled.
The listing photos and virtual tour do not do justice to the property. Although one can see from the photos it is very nicely appointed, one has to see it to appreciate it. The interior design is in perfect harmony with the ambiance of Seaside, as well as being done beautifully and of outstanding quality. Merilee by the Sea is obviously well cared for - it is immaculate and extremely well maintained.
The location itself is fantastic. The gulf is in full view from many areas and what a treat to sit on the patio outside the upstairs master. Again, full vantage point to see the beautiful water and listen to the waves. If that weren't enough, the cottage is mere steps to the beach walkover and a 2 minute walk into town.
The owners have been nothing short of wonderful to deal with. Courteous, thoughtful, helpful and informative are adjectives that immediately come to mind. Suffice it to say, they have ruined us for working with anyone else!
We can't say enough good things about Merilee by the Sea. Within a few days of our two week stay, we were requesting reservations for next year!

We just arrived back home (sadly) from an unbelievable week in Seaside and staying at Merilee-By-The-Sea. The house was far better than we expected and it fit us to a tee. We loved walking up the stairs for the first time and looking out over the wonderful beach to the blue-green gulf. The upstairs living room is an awesome place to sit and look out all of the floor to ceiling windows. We spent every morning in this room with a hot cup of coffee and smiles across our faces. The upstairs and downstairs were more than roomy enough for the five of us. The furniture and beds were very comfortable.
The house is so close to the center of Seaside and all of the activities, restaurants and shops. We walked each day to one of the restaurants or shops. We were also a short bike ride away from Watercolor or Seagrove. Seaside is one place where you can park your car and never get back in it until you are ready to leave.
I could go on and on about are stay, but suffice it to say we will return next year to Seaside and Merliee-By-The-Sea. It just can't come soon enough.

Merilee by the Sea, is our favorite beach get away. The cottage decor is beautiful, the kitchen well appointed, and the views are wonderful. Our adult children have spent time with us at the cottage and the first floor was perfect for them, allowing them their own TV, bathroom and small kitchen. We love the town of Seaside and all it has to offer, and the cottage is just a few steps away from the town square. Once we arrive we rarely use our car, as everything you need is in walking distance. You will not find a more beautiful beach, with crystal clear water, and white sand, with beach access right out your door. Don't forget the eat at Crush, which is our favorite, have grits Ya Ya at The Great Southern and of course try to guess the time of the sunset at Bud and Alleys.
