Must stay!

Clean, beautiful and situated perfectly with access to beach and town. Manager Mohammed was the absolute best, helping us arrange activities and transportation as well as dealing with any and all issues. Could not recommend this stay more in Palolem.

Great little place for my week

This room (no.4) was perfect for my week in Palolem. The room was spotlessly clean, big double bed was comfortable for me, and the bedding smelt lovely! The shower worked well and the air con was very quick & efficient. The balcony was surrounded by big trees. It is just a 3-4 minute walk to the beach (Magic world bar). It was mostly quiet at night. Mir and Suvina were friendly and helpful and organised my taxi transfers to Dabolim airport. Mir provided a kettle for me which was appreciated

I would have liked a fridge to keep drinks cold.

Lovely little guest house, perfect location for the beach , bars & restaurants.

The breakfast wasn’t included in the price, but they have a little cafe & the staff are great & will cater for your needs

Maybe a small fridge in the room if you were staying longer.

Great accommodation and staff.

Mir, the owner, was exceptionally helpful. Made sure we were happy with everything, which we were. Staff also very helpful and made our stay amazing.

Great accommodation with good no frills spacious clean rooms, short walk to the beach, comfortable large bed with crisp fresh sheets. 👍 Mr Mir was really attentive and helpful, as was his team. Food at restaurant below excellent!👌

If any minor suggestion, bathroom wall fixtures like towel hooks and soap holder need strengthening, however this may just be specific to the room we stayed in.

We had really relaxing and comfortable stay. Thanks Mir for his support.

The location is perfect, not far away from the beach and the street wasn't so noisy. Lot's of places to eat. You always have a choice. The room was simple and clean. Air conditioner and fan worked perfectly. The owner, Mir is a very helpful and friendly person. He gave us lots of recommendations.

Très bon emplacement tout près de la plage ( sans y être ) Le gérant est incroyable il vous débrouille de toutes situations

Comme partout à Palolem pas de de paiement possible avec carte c est un vrai problème il y a un seul atm pour des des centaines voire des milliers de personnes ../. Gros stock de liquide en prévision

Perfect stay!

The location was perfect, 3min walk to the beach. The room was perfectly clean and with a big balcony. The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, the laundry service was excellent!

Very nice location. Near to beach & good restaurants. Spacious & clean room. Affordable too considering Palolem rates. Rafiq is a good host & helpful in nature.

Since weather was hot the afternoon we reached, AC took longer time to cool the room. It was fine by evening. Fan wasnt working at full speed.

A clean, modern and safe hotel set in paradise

A fantastic hotel in an amazing location so close to the beach. The rooms are spotlessly clean and modern with free WiFi and air conditioning. The staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them and they will do everything to ensure your trip is perfect. I highly recommend staying here and I would do so again myself.

Spotless rooms!

We arrived earlier than expected and an early check in had been organised promptly. Prior to our stay we stayed in 3-4 stars hotels two weeks and none of them were as clean as here. The rooms were spotless. The host Mir was very kind and ready to answer any questions. We used the laundry service at a very reasonable price and the clothes were perfect. We'd like to quote Mir himself: "when you come back from the beach you're looking to find a clean place where to relax". The rooms are really big and the AC works great. Hot water also working. We can't recommend it enough!

Cleanest and comfiest stay in Goa!

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s guest house! We were greeted with a warm smile and were looked after from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom the cleanest we’ve experienced in Goa. The guest house is a short 3 minute walk to the beach and is near some great bars (we loved Rococo!) but also extremely quiet at night. The best value for money so far - would recommend!

Fantastic accommodation at a reasonable price.

The Maria is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced guest house. The staff are incredibly helpful & polite and I would highly recommend. I’ve stayed in several places in south goa and, although a 5 minute walk to the beach, the Maria is ideal for medium-long term stays. Huge beds, wifi and AC. It only takes a couple of days to become familiar with the area and appreciate the proximity to the beach (unless you stay in a cabin directly on the beach this is a better/more economic alternative to the ‘side’ sea views offered by others). There are good restaurants/bars within a few seconds/minutes walk. The rooms are tiled, a good size and come with balconies and unless you want to pay a premium for (direct) sea views, I wouldn’t hesitate to book.

All things considered I would definitely book again. If you’re here for two days then maybe splurge on a sea view, otherwise, this is a treat.

Location was ok quite near beach

The staff were rude and very unfriendly. Cleaning was only done once a week and the staff shouted at us for leaving the room in a mess when leaving. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. There was no fridge or TV available and you had to be quiet at all times. Will not be returning

Very helpful staff

Rafiq helped us with everything we could ask. Towel for the beach, bikes for rent, taxis to the airport for pickup and drop. He even arranged it so we could take a shower hours after checking out. Very helpful. The place it's a 5 min walk to the beach. Bed sheets and towels were clean and smelled good.

We don't have any complaint.

This guest house was in an excellent location. The owner and his staff are exceptional and all so friendly and helpful. The location is good, a short walk to the beach. Shops, bars and excellent restaurantes are all less than 5 minutes. The staff are always making sure everything is clean and well kept. Organising a hire car, collection from the airport and being driving back after our stay to the airport was all sorted.

Exceptional

Very nice place to stay in the Palolem village. A/C, hot water, clean. To the beach only 4 minutes by walk, good restaurants nearby. I really enjoyed my stay there. You can also attend yoga classes in the neighborhood.
