About this house rental
Welcome to the Cook's House! This completely renovated bungalow is located 3 blocks from historic downtown Laramie's shops and restaurants, and 4 blocks from the University of Wyoming. Equipped with all the comforts of home, such as strong WiFi and Nespresso; the bungalow also boasts a beautiful gas fireplace, pullout sofa and private back patio. To welcome summer guests, we recently added a window AC unit, fans, and a propane gas grill on the back patio. Longer term guests will appreciate the clothes washer/dryer and dishwasher.

We enjoyed staying at the Cook's House and would definitely stay there again. It was walking distance to downtown and the campus and made it easy for us to enjoy our time there. The host was very responsive and helpful.

This property is located within easy walking distance of historic downtown Laramie. There are many restaurants and interesting shops in the area. It is also within short distance of scenic drives and a National Wildlife Refuge.
The cottage was extremely clean and well equipped. The owner was accessible if we had any issues, which we didn’t. We were very pleased with our stay and would certainly return if we were in the area in the future.

Came to town to tour WyoTech for our son. This home was clean, comfortable and excellent location to walk the town. Communication with the owner was great.
We will be staying again in April to move him in!

We so enjoyed staying at this well-appointed small house in Laramie. It was cute, clean & homey, yet had lots of modern touches that were on the cutting edge. We were quite comfortable there. Downtown was super accessible. We were able to walk to nearby Alibi Wood-fired Pizza & Bakery, and J's Prairie Rose Cafe. Both were outstanding. Linda was easy to communicate with and wrote clear, user-friendly instructions for those who stay at The Cook's House. We will return!

This place was perfect for my husband and I. Just like the pictures posted! Close to lots of things downtown. Walking distance. We will definitely stay here again when we visit WY again!

We were in Laramie for my daughter’s graduation from Law School. This little house was perfect for our stay! Beautifully decorated and more room than we expected. We will try to rent again for future visits for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cook's house! All the appliances were great and worked well. The kitchen and bathroom are very nicely refurbished and modern. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We highly recommend!!

Linda is a great manger. You can tell they care about the property. What a great, fixed up, one bedroom place. The gas fireplace kept us plenty warm even though it was in the negative temps outside. She pretty much has everything you can need for your stay. Great coffee too.

It’s a lovely cottage; clean, comfortable, cozy with the fireplace, conveniently located with parking right out front, quiet and the owner (great to work with) seemed to have thought of everything. Unique and classy finishes. We will be back!

I loved staying at the “Cook’s House.”
It was very homey feeling and just the perfect size and location for me. It is located close to downtown and was an easy drive to visit my son at the University.

We've stayed at the Cook house several times and always enjoy it! On this most recent stay we enjoyed the new little dishwasher and cool retro refrigerator! Looks like there was some new landscaping too! Just a great little place for my husband and I when we come to Laramie to visit friends!

It was a great place to stay and the host was quick to respond to questions. Great space, details, and comprehensive manual about the space, appliances, etc. It was close to downtown and the UW campus.

Was concerned beforehand about the cozy size, but it was not an issue at all for the two of us. Efficient layout, easy walk around historic downtown, and responsive communications with owner. Recommend.

Streets are wide in Laramie, so parking was really easy, This house is close enough to everything you would want/need to get your kiddo set up at school (or visiting later). Home furnishings are very nice, it's a calm location, neighborhood was quiet when we were there. There are restaurants in walking distance, too.

The host has gone above and beyond to make this property a welcoming and comfortable stay for all that visit. The location also can’t be beat! I will look forward to staying here every time I visit Laramie.

We would definitely book with this propert again in the future! The house is within walking distance of downtown, which was especially convenient during Jubilee Days. The house was clean, had AC, and extremely comfortable. It was perfect for myself and my spouse. We greatly appreciate the owners’ responsiveness and the ease of directions for accessing the house. Cozy and comfortable
This is a great property for experiencing Laramie and all there is to do. Great location for downtown eating and shopping. Close to the campus of University of Wyoming campus, if you’re in town to scout the school or for parents weekend.
I would most definitely stay here again, the host was very helpful and there was excellent communication.

This property is easy walking distance to downtown with cute cafes and dining. It was warm and cozy on a cold winter evening. We loved the fireplace feature and found it tastefully remodeled.

A home away from home
What a wonderful place to stay. We will be back because our son is a student at UWYO. A significantly better deal than the hotels in town. We even get some ideas to decorate a house we recently bought in Akron, CO.

Great location with easy access to restaurants, Univ, shops in Laramie and between Snowy Range and Vedauwoo. The Cook's house is lovingly & beautifully decorated with well-equipped small kitchen and bathroom. We also enjoyed the little backyard seating area!

Location to downtown & UW. Very clean, and concise. Couple or single use recommended. Excellent private patio area, well put together book for instructions on use of fireplace, grill,espresso machine, area details.

What a great place to stay! Easy to get to, clean, and nicely restored. We will definitely look to book this one again, as we make it to Laramie several times a year.
