Property manager was very polite and reached out to me before our stay. He also checked in with us the day we checked in and out.
House is very small as we expected. We mainly needed a place to sleep. Kitchen is larger and fit our family well. Kids had their own room with twin beds and Hoo Hoo Park is maybe a 30 second walk away. The backyard and back deck are very nice, but we didn’t have time to hangout there. We will definitely book again.

Can't think of a better way to start our exploration of the area than the awesome view of Mt. Shasta right from the front porch and the welcome beverage waiting for us inside! The covered back deck was a great place to relax and catch the cooling breezes. It is such a peaceful neighborhood, and we enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets on the mountain. The living room was a cozy way to end our day. Everything was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We really liked the personal attention given to all our questions about the area(and how to work the key lockbox), too!

Primary purpose was to visit mount Shasta. We were originally going to stay in a hotel at Mt Shasta but inwardly I felt like if I did that I wouldn't like it so we ended up going to McCloud, at this residence, for our vacation. So happy we made the change. McCloud is very small and has a very personal feel to it. It was a great place to have some peace and relax. The location you can see the mountain easy. It is nearby other sites to visit such as the falls as well.
Very happy to book here. If we are ever visiting to visit Mt Shasta again I would definitely come back.
No issues getting in. The host was very friendly and reached out letting us know our check-in on that day was even available early.

Nice clean quiet little house in town. Dining close by and a large park right on the corner. Everything we needed to cook our own meals. Stocked with firewood for toasty fires was a plus.

Nice place, comfortable beds, big backyard with beautiful deck and chandelier. Great for bbq-ing, conversation, and enjoying your morning cup of coffee.
If you're concerned about no a/c, we went during a heat wave and if you keep the blinds drawn, it stays pretty cool.
The owner, Chuck, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. You can't go wrong renting this place. We will be back!

We came to the area to ski at Mt Shasta, and this property was the perfect place to rest and relax in front of the wood-burning stove at the end of the day. The property owner was very helpful and kind, and the various games made our evenings super fun before heading up the mountain the next day. Our daughters also had endless fun running between the two bedrooms through the “secret passage” (the shared bathroom). The house was wonderful for our family!

Nice and comfy cabin with great views!
We had a great time staying at this cabin during our ski trip to Mt. Shasta ski resort which was only 5 miles away and extremely convenient when returning from a tiring day of skiing with kids. We had great views of Mt. Shasta from the front porch, beds and furniture were soft and comfortable, good wifi connectivity, handy kitchen utensils, books and games to keep the kids entertained. My only minor complaint was that the bedrooms and bathroom were not as well heated as the living room and kitchen, but manageable with winter clothes.

The property was as described. The kitchen could use some freshening but the rest of the house was very nice. We were hiking so not real close to a lot of trails but the town was quaint and there is ski opportunity close by.

Once we got our details about the stay (Evolve promised them 30 days before the date and gave them to us THREE days before!) we were worried about very high temperatures. The house stayed cool by closing up every morning and opening up at night and we managed to handle the outside heat ok. The manager, Chuck, was helpful and easy to work with.
