Very short stay but i enjoyed the place.

Nice, cozy, privat, secluded from noise of GL but yet just a short walk to the main road. Staff are very friendly, polite and accommodating. The place is just across a crossfit gym - if you’re into exercise. The room is just the right size with a small balcony to hangout.

The place is about 40 meters walk from Tourism Road and the road is tight and not paved - meaning mud puddles during rainy season. But it’s ok.

Exceptional

Easy check in process 2 huge queen beds for a twin room Along tourism road, many things reachable by walking around the areas. Clean bathroom Strong air-conditioned room for good sleep.

Maybe the entrance should be enhanced - we put in the right password to unlock the door but to no avail. One of the passwords had to be pushed really hard for the door to acknowledge the key is input correctly.

The resident/management's dogs barked continuously all night on both of our nights there. This made it impossible to get a good sleep.

I enjoyed my stay there.

The design and comfort was exactly what i needed. It is located in the center but still quiet.

There is no kitchen area.

Room was clean, beds were comfy and Air con worked well! Great location too. Staff were very helpful when I left my wallet in the airport transfer too!

Only downside was that the dogs were noisy at night!

Avoid at all costs unless they make serious improvements or you are very tight on budget!

Almost nothing! Genuinely a really bad stay. The only bright spot was that the location is right where you would want to be when staying on this beautiful island!

We were so disappointed by our stay at the Lubihan Hotel. It was the only poor experience on an otherwise beautiful island. We understood that we’d gone for a cheaper option and paid a low price but you still expect the basics to be of a reasonable standard, which they certainly weren’t here. Unless you really are on a tight budget, I would not advise staying there unless they make some improvements. The room was dirty and despite advertising that they would, there was no daily room cleaning. The bathroom only had cold water and the water stank of eggs and left everything orange. There was no soap and the towels quickly became filthy (and weren’t replaced). There were dogs barking all nice and rats living next to our room. The staff were also not able to speak English and looked confused every time you asked for help. Unfortunately this isn’t the kind of situation where it was a one-off bad experience - it really is best avoided until they make changes!

Good location

Sheen the manager was SO awesome with info and helped me with airport transfers. Short walk down lane to tonnes of food, drinks, and trikes. Yes gets puddles but I could walk around them. Drinking water available for refilling water bottles Room was super cute

The smell of the water is quite bad as mentioned in other reviews. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper and stay on a Tues as there's a party nearby. Or just join the party!

Superb

The best possible location close to restaurants, bars and surf spots. Helpful staff and owners sending us tips what to do and where to go. Large comfy beds. Cozy room we loved to rest in.

The cleaning was of high standard but could happen more than every 4 days. During power outage, the generator doesn’t run all the time and is only for water.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay. The room was so nice and clean. We had a balcony that was lovely. The owner helpt us out with a lot of tips about Siargao. You could tap your own water, so no plastic bottles.

really great that I found a highly recommended surf instructor through them!

it was in a good location to walk to restaurants and get a trike!

it was in a side street that had lots of puddles leading to the property in the back

The owner is helpful and whatsapped us with check in instructions and also arranged tours. The room is clean and the beds are comfy

The shower and water had a really bad smell. Could do with tea and coffee facilities. I think you can get better value for money on the island.

clean, warm and cozy stay at lubihan

first of all what I liked the most about the property was the staffs of Lunihan, they were exceptional, super friendly and helpful with us at all time. secondly, the room was just perfect for us: - clean and cozy - really well connected to everywhere in siargao: restaurants, surf places ( ie. cloud 9), laundry, etc.. - huge beds
