About this condo rental

Located in Arcata, this charming condo for £126 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This sparkling clean, Arcata Bay/Coastal themed apartment is within a block of the Arcata Plaza, Farmers Market, shopping, and next door/overlooking Salt Restaurant and NorthStory Winery. We have a private parking lot, 1 gig/second WiFi, TV w/cable, dishwasher, California king bed, washer/dryer inside the apt, and pretty town views. Fun location close to everything, very spacious, relaxing, and convenient. Walk everywhere, all of our apartments have walk scores of 96! This apartment is very spacious feeling with a large living room with great town views. There is a full bathroom with a shower over tub and an LG combination washer/dryer. There is a full size gas range, a full size stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, dining table and chairs, a full size 55 inch TV with premium cable, and fast Wi Fi. There is a large private parking lot with motion lighting just for this building. Although the apartment is in a bustling, lively section of town within less than a block of many great restaurants, shops, etc, the bedroom is on the quiet side of the building and has a cal-king bed, and a sitting area to read/relax. The winery next door, NorthStory Winery, frequently has live music and events on weekends, especially holiday weekends, Cal Poly graduation, etc, so we recommend contacting them to see what will be happening prior to booking if this is a concern. Guests have the entire apartment with its own private gate and stairway, a parking lot, and yard. The gates have electronic keypads so the apt and yard are very secure feeling. We respect guests privacy but are always available quickly for guest needs as our home is about 10 blocks away. We are very responsive hosts and always happy to provide recommendations for places to go, restaurants, beaches etc. This is a great location within a block of the town center/Arcata Plaza and less than a block from many great restaurants, shops. Within a block are 7 restaurants, the Arcata Plaza, the Arcata Co-Op grocery store, and countless shops. Once you have parked your car in the private parking lot with motion lighting that is just for this building, you won't need to drive again, everything is within a block or two from this location. We have tankless water heaters for unlimited hot water, rain shower heads, and very strong water pressure so much so many guests comment on how nice the showers are.

This is a charming little place right in the center of town. We walked to all of our meals and also had easy access to great outdoor activities in the area.

The apartment was completely updated and redone. Brand new everything and sparkling clean. Also, it was close to the center of town, so if you didn't have a car, you could still easily get to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. There was no toaster, so I contacted the owners, and they promptly brought over a toaster oven for me. I would definitely stay there again.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Arcata. The location is great-- conveniently close to downtown stores and restaurants but quiet and comfortable inside. The apartment was very well equipped, with everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. Lots of space for two to spread out and be comfortable. We look forward to our next stay.

This condo has everything you could possibly want. It's a nice size and very well equipped. There are restaurants nearby and an excellent grocery store just across the street. Parking is provided. Our only problem was the very large homeless population in the neighbourhood. My wife and I did not want to wander the streets at night. We are an older couple and this may not be an issue for younger people.

This place was so beautiful! We had a few questions here and there and the owners answered them the moment we text them! The location is walking distance to a redwood hiking park and short drive to so many other redwoods and beaches. We walked to all of our dining as well. Loved the rental, bed was so comfy, it was clean and it was decorated so nice. It felt like we were in a home away from home.

Loved staying in the heart of downtown Arcata, a hip/hipster/hippie student town full of personality. The apartment was spotless and spacious with every convenience needed. Easy walking to restaurants, farmers market, natural food coop and a delicious bagel shop.

This was a fabulous place, very modern and clean. Had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The private parking and entrance were quite nice. Nice places to eat right next door and just across the street. Definitely recommend, perfect for a couple getaway. Btw we came to see the redwoods and the ocean (black sand beach) very impressed with both!!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights while visiting our daughter. The apartment is new, super clean & beautifully appointed. We love the location!!! Walking distance to all that the town of Arcata has to offer. The private parking and well lit grounds were appreciated. We had a very long day of driving and were tried upon arrival so it was really nice to have coffee grounds supplied! There was not one thing that we needed that the apartment did not have. It will now become our home away from home when we return to visit! Thank you Eric and Heather your place rates a 5+++!

This property was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners were kind and responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed being within walking distance to restaurants, coffee and shopping. The only con was the construction noise going on downstairs on our first day. We still give the house and owners 5 stars because if not for the rain, we would have been out and about and never noticed! PS Good off-street lighted parking, too!
