This two-bedroom home is located within easy walking distance to the Avon Fishing Pier, many restaurants, and Club Hatteras. There is also supermarket just down the street. The primary suite includes an attached bath complete with a Jacuzzi soaking tub and direct deck access. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas are well furnished, spacious and comfortable, providing all the necessities for the perfect home-away-from-home. Enjoy an afternoon nap or sunset cocktail on the private, covered deck. Community amenities include an onsite pool and private boardwalk to one of the best beaches in the Outer Banks. Come to the Island for your vacation. Things to know Free WiFi You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 3. I was not sure what to expect after reading some of the recent reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the place and the abundance of provisions. Someone earlier commented this was a dump, and another reviewer said it was roach infested. Neither of these are true! We only saw one bug the whole time and it was outside underneath the building as we were walking toward the beach. The condo is a little bit dated, but very clean and spacious. Let me just say - the views are captivating from the living area, master bedroom, and deck. Windows on 3 sides of the master bedroom allow so much light and a nice cross breeze. My only negative comments are related to the beds, nmbr of steps, and ckeckin/checkout instructions.
The beds are foam and very soft. I have a bad back that really suffered after a couple of nights. And the other thing you need to know is that there are 63 steps up to the third floor. Pack light so you don't have to carry much up. You really don't need to bring anything for the kitchen as it is well stocked. Due to the steps, might not be a good fit for older folks, and definitely not for the handicapped or small kids. The check-in instructions I received from Vacasa were terrible. I received a door code in an email but there is no coded lock on the door. You have to go down the street to the Vacasa office to get your key, but we only found that out by calling the phone number on our check in email. Also, we did not receive any check out instructions...had to drive down to the Vacasa office to ask. Other than those few negatives, we really enjoyed a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

When we checked in, I had to wash all the dishes, utensils, coffee maker etc. There was caked on tomato sauce in a pan in the cabinet, old food in the utensils in the drawers...etc. The furniture is broken, badly stained, and dirty. the porch is useless as over half of it is full of storage furniture. I found a live roach. The front door lock did not work. I complained and received no response, I eventually even checked out early and complained in person.
I have stayed in other units in this complex and found them in much better condition. This place is an overpriced dump and needs some serious upgrades. When I stayed with a different unit, there was much better support and help. VAcasa is not interested in your vacation, nor your pleasure. Once you pay for it, you are stuck with it. They did not offer to help nor reimburse me for the problems I had and the lack of cleanliness.

The property is amazing and we definitely enjoyed our stay. We will be using you again for stays. Only issue with this property is that it is at the top of the stairs the very tiptop so if you have a lot to pack up and a lot to take down it is quite the trip. Enjoyed our stay immensely!

We loved the location and overall had a wonderful vacation. The VRBO was not very clean when we arrived. There was shaving cream and hair stuck to the shower wall, the microwave was covered in spattered cooked food and smelled. The dishwasher had an odor to it when we used it. We also vacuumed when we arrived because the carpets were covered in sand and crumbs.

The rental was great. We have two toddlers 2 & 4 and the condo was mostly safe. We did have to have maintenance come fix a couple railings on our balcony that the girls could have easily fit through. Terrifying. Otherwise, we loved the location. Central to plenty but not too crowded on the beach. We had a great time.
If I have the choice I would not go through vacasa again. Impossible to get in touch with any concerns. Have to sit on hold forever. Not a fan of the distant third party ownership. I’d much rather go through someone local.

Great 2 bedroom condo on 3rd floor. Clean and well-kept. Had all the amenities of a home away from home. Close to everything. Will definitely stay here again!

LOVED our vacation here. This was perfect for our family. Comfortable beds, ocean views and everything you could need for cooking away from home. Climbing the stairs was a little tiresome, but once you are up the view and beautiful condo make the sairs not seem so bad.

Everything was great except for the fact it’s advertised with a jacuzzi in the bathroom, but the jacuzzi is unusable. I tried using it and it shot out mildew and mold both times the whole time. But that isn’t worth a negative review. We appreciated the fact that when you arrive they have soap, TP, trash bags etc. all ready for you to use. The location can’t be beat, wake up everyday and walk to the beach or fish on the Avon pier then get a great breakfast at Stus. Have a beer and watch the sunset from the front deck, and watch it rise on the back deck. Grocery shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. I’ve stayed many places over the years, most are $2000 plus a week, this was $800 total for 2 weeks ocean front, being one of the best deals out there this last year. Thank you for hosting us and letting us into your home.

The Islander condo
We had a wonderful time in this home. It was comfortable, snd had all we needed. We enjoyed the location to the Avon pier, and the beach was a short walk. Having a few local restaurants close by was great! Thank you we enjoyed our stay!

Needs attention
Towels and sheets were left out side before we got there and everything was soaking wet since it was pouring rain when we arrived! They supplied us with 2 keys but never checked to see if they both worked and the one set did not work! There were dirty linens in a box in the room probably from the guest before us so makes me wonder if the place was even sanitized or cleaned before we arrived! Overall a good location with a view.

Nice Stay!
IF you don't mind the steps (64 total), this is a very nice, clean condo. It has some age but has been kept well. Kitchen is equipped for cooking/dining in. As someone mentioned, the water is a little rough here, but there are optional day trips south to calmer water. Pool was nice and clean as well.

Comfortable condo. Overall clean. Microwave spotless. Cute décor. Pool was not crowded while we were here. If you want to get steps on your Fitbit this is the condo for you. It is on 3rd floor so several steps up but no noise from other condos and can see the Avon Pier and ocean. We had fun in Avon. Saw a lot of the Outerbanks and lighthouses. Beautiful area. Good local restaurants. Ocean is very rough here.
