This was a dream vacation that concluded our summer season 2023. Unforgettable lake views, cozy house that was recenly upgraded, nice river for swimming and kayaking. Kudos to the owner,Vico, who has been very accommodating. Hope we will be lucky enough to book his house again next summer.

I’m going to be honest! I was initially worried about going due to an update receive by the owner the day of check in. We showed up and what seemed like a mountain, became a molehill. He mentioned a few things needed repair, on check in day which I was not happy about, but they were so insignificant due to all the other amenities, and the location, the views, the beautiful kitchen, the comfortable bed, the privacy, the water actives, and getting to fish off the dock ect, ect, ect! Those are the things that made are stay one of the absolute BEST mini vacations ever! I will say the outdoor grill was either clogged or not working properly and needs repairing or to be replaced. That’s pretty common with grills, not surprising though. We were able to use the gas stove/oven which cooked quickly, and efficiently, and sufficed our personal needs. Overall our stay was a 5. Too many good things to worry about the small. Thank you Vico ! We enjoyed the vacation thoroughly and would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a peaceful stay, connect with nature and a comfortable and large enough space to enjoy your family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The property was as described no issues. It was clean and very comfortable. Having the floating pier was a plus, public boat ramp was very close by and convenient. Parking in front of the property 3 cars max. A neighbor was very kind to allow me the use of his property for my boat trailer parking. Over all I would recommend this property for a quiet family vacation.

It was a very nice trip we all enjoyed it. The host was nice an helpful. The pictures of the house did not do it justice when we got there we were surprised at the size of rooms they were larger than they looked in the ads. The area was quiet and the lake was great.

Vico’s place was just perfect for a weekend getaway - unfortunately weather wasn’t conducive to water enjoyment but I’m sure it’s great during all the other seasons - definitely recommend

The house is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The deck is full of tables and chairs for lounging outside, and if it were warmer we’d have stayed there the whole time. Vico is a kind and communicative host, and stayed in touch with a member of my family when they had forgotten an item at the property. He even sent a friend over to look for the item. Above and beyond. Book this house, you won’t regret it.

What a great week!! The house was clean and just as listed. The lake is beautiful. Boys loved being able to have the lake right outside! Launch for the jet ski was less than 5 mins away. Vico was an excellent host and very helpful before and during our trip. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

This property is so pretty and the lake was wonderful! We were able to use our boat for fishing and water sports. Traffic on the lake was never overwhelming even for 4th of July! The house was full of amenities and Vico was a pleasure to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. We made wonderful memories. The house sits on a fairly large hill and we got some exercise going up and down!

This property was great for our family of 4 to get away for the week. Vico was easy to communicate with and proactive with his communications and information. Property was clean, spacious and in a quiet location - providing us with everything we were looking for. One word of caution is the steepness of the hill between the house and the water. It can take it's toll, so much so that the grandparents had to "tap out" and enjoy the scenery from the deck on Day 2, as the hill was too much for them after one day. Other than that, we loved our week here. - Dan L.

I rented this home to enjoy time with family for a milestone birthday. We could not be happier with our stay. The home is exactly as described in the online listing. The view is incredible. The home was exceptionally clean and provided us with all we needed to enjoy our stay. Vico was very responsive with all of my questions prior to our arrival. I couldn’t ask for a better host. We are already planning our next stay.

The space was very comfortable. The stairs leading down to house were hard for me personally Without a handrail but not for rest of family. The deck is so equipped and the fireplace on the deck was delightful. We used the indoor fireplace everyday. Our dog had so much fun swimming until it got too cold. Lots of areas to walk her and hike as well. We cooked a lot and found the cooking equipment sparse but we still had a great and brought some pans from Brooklyn. It was a great week.

My family completely enjoyed our stay at the house. We docked our boat and used it every day, loved the kayaks (we brought more) and enjoyed the fire pits. The house is spacious and updates were impressive! The surrounding area is charming - wonderful Connecticut countryside..

Perfect half-way meeting place for our family. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 child. Water was perfect for kayaking, swimming, fishing & floating. Our 10 year old granddaughter learned to dive off of the dock. The huge deck is great for evening meals. Nice friendly people in the neighborhood. Close to grocery stores, & shopping areas. Would definitely recommend & hope to return! Vico was a very responsive host.
