Nestled in Jamestown, this lovely condo for £236 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This "Island Secret" is nestled only 900 feet from the Jamestown's most popular swimming beach, "Mackerel Cove" where you can peak at several summer "cottages" along the rugged cove leading to the open Atlantic ocean. You will unwind in the luxury and total privacy of this new "Coastal Cottage Loft" villa situated among mature landscaping with magnificent cedar trees, huge rhododendron and other beautiful plantings. Your accommodations include a completely private entrance for both bedrooms, private parking and beautifully landscaped grounds which accent this exclusive island hideaway. There are two separate bedrooms - a comfortable Queen Bedroom and a convenient Twin Bed Bedroom - each with their own outside access door. Each bedroom has its own large HD TV while enjoying a full kitchen and bathroom as well as a magnificent private outdoor shower. For your protection and peace of mind, we will secure your "Booking" by forwarding, a rental agreement confirming your dates and other important information. It will require obtaining your email address as well as a copy of your driver license or state issued ID card. Jamestown is one of Rhode Island's best kept secrets. It is an idyllic, peaceful coastal gem with historic farms, stunning parks, award-winning restaurants, locally owned shops and art galleries. An ideal summertime retreat, Jamestown is located directly across the bay from Newport, RI and surrounded by the cool, clear waters of Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a scenic walk to Jamestown's Town Center revealing the beautiful, picturesque harbor and marina with the iconic Newport Bridge in the background. Once at the Harbor, you can view all of the beautiful boats and private yachts, stroll to several restaurants and shops and Jamestown's own Brewery. The apartment was comfortably furnished and within walking distance of downtown Jamestown and shops. There was no half bath. Only an outside shower.

Loved this cozy little 2 BR apartment. The picture led me to believe our rental was a house, but it wasn’t. Though we were comfortable, climbing stairs to this garage apartment was difficult. We hope to return, but will probably stay in a house in the Newport area.

Overall the property was what we expected. In spite of receiving instruction regarding entry at the second door we arrived in the pouring rain and my umbrella obscured the sign on the first door. Suggest the sign be moved to just over keypad. Open shelves between cabinets and microwave

We had a really lovely three days during a recent visit to Jamestown for the Newport boat show. It's clear the hosts have put a lot of care into making the "Loft" cozy and inviting. From high-quality linens and furnishings to beach items and lots more. Highly recommended!

It was a great property and a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and adorably furnished, and the amenities were thoughtful. We enjoyed both Jamestown and Newport easily, and were glad to be slightly off the beaten path and not in the middle of Newport. The hosts provided clear and consistent communication and we would love to visit again.

The stay at Robin and Maryann's coastal cottage loft was magnificent. The loft was impeccable and contained all the amenities we could every want. The beach was in walking distance and beautiful. We took advantage of the quaint town of Jamestown, right on the water with lovely shops and delicious restaurants. We took a sunset cruise to Newport and back to Jamestown. It was, by far, one of the most relaxing and perfect vacations I have been on. I am looking forward to returning. Thank you Robin and Maryann - you are superb hosts.

This cottage was perfect for my husband and myself and our son and his girlfriend. Sweet, quiet little place. Easy walk to town and to the beach. There is not much going on in Jamestown, so we probably should have spent more time in Newport. The first night we arrived we went looking for a restaurant at 8:45 as the New Yorkers we are and everything was closed by 9 pm! Had to buy snacks at Cumberland Farms for dinner. But, then we went to several very good restaurants earlier the next two nights. The cottage was very comfortable and hosts were responsive and helpful.

We stayed at Coastal Cottage Loft during the weekend of our daughter's Jamestown wedding, and could not have been more comfortable! This lovely little apartment had everything we needed, and was a quiet and peaceful spot to rest and relax between events. We only wish we'd had time for a swim at Mackerel Cove Beach, which was a short walk away ... maybe next time!

This apartment was perfect for our family. It was great to be over the garage so there was no fear of the kids making too much noise. The outdoor shower after the beach was pure luxury. Everything was neat clean and convenient. I would highly recommend this 3 bedroom 2 full bath plus outdoor shower! The hosts were very responsive as well. Only praise to give,

This was one of the cleanest places that I have ever stayed. I grew up in RI, but did not know what type of neighborhood the loft was located in. Needless to say, the area was gorgeous and the town beach which is absolutely perfect for toddlers was about a 2 min walk. Definitely will return.

After dropping our youngest kid off at college in RI we enjoyed a perfect empty nest stay. The cottage was even cuter than the pictures and we were greeted with a nice bottle of white wine. Very clean , well equipped and decorated tastefully. Jamestown is adorable had the best breakfast at Slice if Heaven and a romantic dinner at Simpatico. Quick ride to Newport & Narragansett.

The loft was exactly as shown in the photos. Everything you could possibly need was supplied. Spotlessly clean, quiet, and the owners were great. Jamestown has some nice restaurants and the ferry over to Newport was very convenient. Wonderful stay. - highly recommend it.

We had a lovely time at the LOFT. Immaculate, and had everything we needed - beach chairs, towels, tea pot, keurig, hulu .. walk down the street to a lovely cove. Our hosts were amazing - so responsive and kind. Jamestown is a quiet lovely place...look forward to visiting again.

Loved everything about this Coastal Cottage! So close to everything you want to explore but yet oh so quiet. The property is super clean and very well kept. We stayed for two weeks and next time will come back a stay even longer.! When we arrived a bottle of wine was waiting for us! Enjoyed every minute of our stay!

The Loft Cottage was very quaint. It was spotless and decorated very nicely. It's close to the local beach in a quiet neighborhood. The caretaker was very responsive to only one request we had for caffeinated coffee. All the switches in the loft were labeled which was really helpful. The cottage had many supplies that lasted the 4 days we were there. Just two suggestions: provide dish soap and a sponge. Also, when we left it was raining very hard. The ground was saturated and puddled. Some sort of gravel or stone path from the parking spot to the loft cottage entrance would be a nice added feature. Highly recommend the loft cottage for a quiet getaway for two.

Excellent condition, clean and modern with a beachy feel, walk to beach is accurate, great beach, quiet, can’t think of a single thing to complain about ! Exactly as expected and it was what as we hoped for. 2nd floor access via outside deck and stairs is a consideration for folks not comfortable with climbing stairs, although not a problem at all for us.
