We know it's an old building but it took a few minutes to adjust to the musty smell of the building. We rented all three apartments for our family and they were all unique. If you like historic buildings and decor, you will love this place. We only had one night here and it served our purpose. The only negative comment I have is that the pictures of the property show a pool which makes it look like it's right outside but it is a block away (free to the public).

This was the perfect place for our family. We had 3 family’s staying, our parents which stayed in the first apartment room, my SIL with 5 boys in the second apartment room and my husband and the 2 girls in the third apartment room. Each apartment had a bathroom and small kitchen!!!! The owner even left Rhubarb bread for us!! They were amazing! I don’t know if you had little ones, it’s an amazing antique old fashion building!!!

We paid a lot of money for what was essentially 3, one bedroom apartments. Me and my grown kids arrived at 2pm for an early check in, spent 2 hours there and did not return until 11pm the same evening. We played cards until close to 2 am, went to bed and left at 630am for breakfast. Cynthia took it upon herself to enter the unit shortly after, without communication. She was watching the cameras and assumed we left. Our check out time was 10am and there was someone still in bed!! She insisted on cleaning and accused my grown son of smoking tobacco in the room. He insisted that none of them smoke as they continued to gather their things. After everyone left, she proceeded to the dumpster and started digging through trash taking pictures to confirm her suspicions. We have no idea whose trash she took pics of, but insisted it was ours and someone was smoking. My daughter called her to let her know that none of them smoke and they had been camping the night before, maybe the smoke she smelled was from the campfire that had stuck to their bags and clothes. Cynthia was very rude and unprofessional, screaming at her and then proceeded to accuse her of breaking into a heater closet and breaking the door. The closet door, she sent me a pic of, was not broken. It was simply opened looking for the extra blankets she informed us were there. The two identical closets were next to each other, neither of them were marked. She ended up charging an additional for presumed smoking in the room and to replace a closet door that was not broken. What started out great turned into an $1,100 expense for about 16 hours!! Beware, take pictures upon check-in and know she will rummage through trash to stick you with a bill for something, whether true or not!

Loved the historic feel of the property and can’t beat the location! We enjoyed walking the Main Street to shop, dine, and listen to live music at the Occidental. The town is very walkable; we even walked to the grocery store, coffee shop, etc. Only feedback is that one of the units felt very dim, and we noticed that several light bulbs needed to be replaced.
