This home is exactly as advertised. There was plenty of room for our group of 10 to gather comfortably and enjoy our time together. We loved the convenient location and could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay.

Three generations of our 8 person family stayed very comfortably. Love the the converted attic into bedroom where the older kids felt like they were in their own apartment. Kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to make our meals. Great location close to the strand and cruise port. The house is beautiful, rich with history yet has all the modern necessities for comfort and convenience.

Beautiful house but feels cozy! Played lots of games around the table and watched college football in the family room. Was close to The Strand for food and beverages. Just an awesome stay!

House is beautiful and laid out great for large groups. Enjoyed front porch and cooking steaks out back. Kitchen, dinning area, and Living room were big enough for our group of 8. You can walk to the Strand or Seawall. Great places to eat include Miller’s, Katies, and the Blvd.most Gardens about 15 minutes away and Texas Bryan museum about 5. House is in the historic district with other classic homes.

Wonderful charming historical home, well appointed, spacious and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed being within walking distance to so many activities and historical sites. Also enjoyed taking in evening walks, porch time and watching the horse drawn carriages go down the street in the evening. Definitely felt as if we had gone back in time to a bygone past. A good time was had by all. We hope to come back again.

Our family of eleven takes a group vacation every summer. This year in Galveston. We found the Belle of Ball Street to be a great fit for us! Everyone had a cozy bedroom and we really enjoyed hanging out around the kitchen island, preparing meals, and having lots of great conversations and more than a few laughs. The place is well kept and thoughtfully furnished. Wonderful, shady, walkable, historic neighborhood five minutes drive time from just about anything we wanted to do.
Five stars.

We loved staying at the Belle of Ball Street. The home is well appointed with beautiful decor and comfortable furniture. We booked this property for its location close to walkable restaurants and not too far from both The Strand and the beach. We had 2 families stay with 8 total guests and had plenty of space. Our kids enjoyed surf camp for 3 days next to Pleasure Pier and then walking across the street to the Float Pool Bar for lunch. We would rent here again!

Our experience with this home was exceptional in every way. Their hospitality, and attention to detail surpassed our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this owner to anyone seeking an outstanding vacation experience. It was evident that they took great pride in their property and genuinely wanted us to have a memorable experience.

We stayed at this home to celebrate a graduation for the weekend with friends and family. This home is located on a quiet street in a historic area of Galveston. Easy access to restaurants and The Strand area. This home was just as described on VRBO. The beds were comfortable. You are provided with everything you need away from home. The kitchen was well-stocked and the bar area was an added bonus. The large dining table was great for our dinners as well as playing cards in the evening (games are available for use). The separate Nest temperature controls made it comfortable especially when staying in an older home. Owners provided items for your beach day also (we did not use).
Owners were available at all times for questions. Easy access to home upon on arrival and departure. Instructions were sent in advance as well as the history of the home and things to do in Galveston.
This home is your home away from home while on vacation.

The mat problem was the only thing that was a deterrent. Construction next store was noisy and dusty.

This beautiful historic home was perfect for our group of 8 women celebrating over 30 years of friendship. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. One of the best restored homes I’ve seen in Galveston. The owners were very responsive to questions. All of their suggestions were wonderful. Loved being walkable to The Strand and Seawall.

The Belle of the Ball was just as amazing (if not more) as pictured and described online! Rachel and Chris were super easy to work with and did an excellent job outlining the history, attractions and amenities of the home. We could have spent the entire weekend without leaving house. The location of the house is ideal in the prime location of the historic district. You are walking distance from the Strand and several great restaurants. We had such an amazing experience and highly recommend!

The kiddos loved sleeping on and having the entire 3rd floor to themselves. The beach was an easy walk but we drove for a quicker escape. Porretto Beach was not crowded, had chairs & umbrellas, plus you could order lunch from a nearby restaurant and have it delivered to your beach lounger.
The Pleasure Pier was fantastic, everyone won something at the midway and there were plenty of rides for children and adults of all sizes.
10/10 would recommend this house for the next stay with our large brood or group of friends.
The Main Bedroom is enormous and has a large study that could double as an infant's room so they are close to parents but there is door divider.
Having the entire home plus the Carriage House gave a place to quietly slip away from the Big House energy and have a tranquil space.
