Room was, clean and comfortable.
Bathroom was clean and worked.
Easy to Park
Room was a great temperature
I didn't want a full English breakfast, but other options seemed limited.
Some road noise but was ok
Suggest putting the Wifi code in the room to save the hassle of having to ask

Traffic noise. Next time I'll bring Ear plugs. Otherwise would give excellent rating.

Excellent breakfast!
Would have been nicer to have had duvet on the bed as opposed to sheet and blanket.

Friendly welcome. My girls enjoyed having two single beds instead of having to share a double. Good-sized family room. Lovely cooked breakfast.
Hairdryer in the room would have been useful.

My room was cozy and a good size for a 5 night stay. My car was a 10 second walk from my door and i had a patio door for fresh air and easy access outside. the breakfast room was a good size and the telly was on in the morning for company :)
My room was right by the main entrance door so i could hear the door close every time guests came and went and all conversations in the hallway but this didnāt ruin the stay at all just something to bear in mind for those sensitive to noise. i always sleep with ear plugs in

Stayed over a weekend for work, the host was very welcoming and attentive. I'm not normally a big breakfast person and Tudor Lodge catered towards my needs with a very tasty mushroom and bacon buttie instead of the full English included in the price. Facilities were great, plenty of tea/coffee in the room, nice furnishings in keeping with the Tudor style.
It is on a main road therefore light sleepers may not have the best sleep, and the floorboards are a little creaky as you would expect in this kind of property. Neither was a problem for me. Plenty of quick food options nearby, bus stop just outside for city centre options. Would definitely stay again, hopefully with a bit more time to make the most of the garden.

The hotel was easy to find, great location with plenty of free parking.
The staff were very friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel has a small lounge area with a TV and comfortable chairs where you are welcome to use at your leisure.
The room was spotlessly clean with fresh towels and plenty of storage. The bed was comfortable and the room nice and warm. There was coffee and tea facilities in the room as well as a flat screen TV. There was a very expilict information pack in the room as well as fast food menus, the hotel allows outside food to be delivered and the dining room is available for use. Nottingham city is around 15mins by car and there are plenty of car parks, I noticed there is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel.
As a 3*hotel I feel it was a great find and will certainly use it again.
The hotel has floodlights as its on the main road to advertise the building, as we had a front downstairs room the floodlights illuminated our room despite it having thick lined curtains.
A side plate and extra knife would be useful at breakfast to use for toast and butter instead of us having to use our main plate. (Not a criticism just a useful touch).

We had been there on 31st December. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh. It's very cozy and lovely place to stay. We enjoyed our stay.
Room temperature was little higher. There should be some kind of control to adjust it.

Lovely breakfast, nice room and beds.
Traffic was noisy but it is on a main road so not much to be done about that.

As always the food was excellent and our host took time to get our orders right and enabled us to leave before eight the next morning. The location is first rate its close enough to the city centre to get in in 10 minutes on a bus but far enough out of the city to allow you to get back on the motorway in less than 10 minutes. The room has been refurbished to an excellent level and overlooked the lovely garden. Our host remembered us from previous stays and is a top guy.
Only one minor gripe and that was the shower head fell to pieces. This was because it had been taken apart the previous day for cleaning.

Our family room was large, very nicely decorated and well stocked with all the necessary tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc. The beds were very comfortable. Free parking on the driveway was helpful.
The hotel in on a main road and there was a lot of noise from the traffic which did affect our sleep quality. Our friends room was very small compared to ours.
Breakfast was the main issue, if you wanted a traditional cooked breakfast then you're fine and it was acceptable, but there were no provisions made for anyone who didn't want this, there was no fruit / pastries etc and I was told repeatedly there was no cereal / porridge on offer until I said this was not acceptable and then I was given cornflakes after the lady made a quick visit to the shop across the road. The marmalade tasted odd and the tea was a funny shade of grey. I have never experienced this before and it totally spoilt our stay.

Very good breakfast, excellent friendly service, comfortable rooms. Nice little garden area out the back and very accommodating re our dog. Parking area off the road was much appreciated by us also.
The area was not so good for finding somewhere to eat - even on a Friday night we couldn't find a pub that had an open kitchen. Plenty of takeaways though, especially Chinese.

Attentive staff from Carol & Mark nothing was to much trouble
close to busy road
