We asked for cleaning service and after 2 hours no action. 2pm cleaning round began. No change of bed linen- just made up with dirty linen (minor child had taken ill and accidentally wet the bed- same bed sheet returned with a large stain)
Towels one had someone else’s mascara and lipstick stains I don’t use any.
Used room utensils- cups and spoons left on the table.

The food, evening meal and breakfast were very good. Staff were helpful.
The room allocated smelled of sewage. Complained at reception and they offered an air freshener. Not happy with the air freshener option and asked for a different room. Was told they were fully booked but we asked if they could check again. They found one last room vacant which was next door to the first room. This fortunately didn't have the sewage smell but was a disabled room which had a very slippery shower floor and awkward toilet and sink for non disabled people. The bathroom sink had some grey gunk around the back, fortunately had some antibacterial wipes with me to clean the sink thoroughly. Recommendation is - if you do decide to stay make sure you have the anti bacterial and anti viral wipes as it is not clean.

Most uncomfortable bed I ever tried, had a really painful back after staying here.

Convenient location
Cold! Extremely cold in the room, however the staff gave us a battered old electric heater which helped
Hotel is run down and in need of maintenance and repairs in many locations. I cannot believe this is a Ramada hotel branded destination.
I believe that using booking.com you are given the worst room which has to listen to the corridor door close all through the day and night.

comfortable , good location
The lift did not work and had to carry case up several flights of stairs to top floor, I was not warned or offered a lower floor and when I raised my concerns , the issue was not acknowledged or an apology was not given. Felt that i was not respected. The response of the desk manager has made me feel like i would not use a RAMADA hotel again.

First room - no water, toilet would not flush, lights not working. Moved rooms. Bed lamp hanging off the wall, TV hanging off the wall, shower was just a dribble of water, curtains hanging off the tracks. However it was very clean, bathroom spotless, bedding spotless. Clearly have very good housekeeping staff, shame they can’t focus also on the finer details. Absolutely no life in this hotel at all.
No life to this hotel. Do not visit if you want a great few days away atmosphere

Perfect location just off M5...next to an Aldi which is always a bonus! Tea/coffee in room which you don't often get in budget travel places. Bed was comfy.
Room looked like it hadn't been decorated in years. Wall lights not working, fittings loose. Skirting all around room grubby. Bathroom also grubby despite obviously being cleaned...but tiles/shower fixing etc were grotty. It did the job to break up a long journey...not much else to say!

Window did not close properly so noise of M5 could be heard
Bathroom had a leak from behind the toilet

Well appointed hotel with large free car park. Staff on reception very helpful and accommodating. Housekeeping staff all very polite and friendly. The items of decoration were interesting and there was plenty of seating in the reception lounge and outside the dining room. Also a lovely mezzanine level with comfy soft seating. Beds were comfy and there was adequate refreshments in the room.
There was no hot water on both mornings of our stay. The manger was heard to ask the receptionist how many guests had complained, and when informed that many guests had contacted reception with a concern over cold showers etc, he was heard to say "Let them complain"! He did not remain on site to deal with guest concerns, just left the poor receptionist to field the disgruntled guests.
The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment which is a shame as it has been done out nicely, just not maintained.

was a good location to what we needed.
bed was really hard. housekeeping come and let themselves in at 8am in the morning even though we told reception we would be leaving at 11!
