The room was very clean and the toilet fixtures where top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. TV has Netflix and Youtube. Enjoyable even with bad weather. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

the location is amazing! just by the ski lifts. the bedrooms are comfortable although some of them need to be refurbished. a bit disappointed with my room given the price I paid… but the staff was nice, either helpful or nice

the bathroom was really old and the furniture of my bedroom was really tired. for instance, the knob of the cabinet fell on my hands and I had to open the doors with my fingers all the time - which was annoying. the lamps were either without their covers or with their covers all torn apart. with the price I paid for the bedrooms I was not expecting to see the furniture around me falling apart. The carpets need to be washed urgently as well. My bedroom smelled feet… the food is good but expensive for what it is.

We stayed in the circus trailer. It is a very charming trailer from the Knie circus. We loved it. The restaurant is nice too.

First I would like to mention that this is the first time I write a negative review on booking.com. I'm really not complicated and like simple but charming hotels. We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of January and the temperatures during night time dropped to around 0 degrees Celsius. The trailer is heated by a wood fire stove. As per suggestion of the manager we made a fire in the stove until going to bed. But in the morning the temperature dropped to 8 degrees celsius, a chilly wake up. The stove also makes the trailer quite smoky. There was a back up electrical heater which we used as a back up during the second night, but still the second morning was about 9 degrees celsius wake up. In order to get to the bathroom/shower we had to walk through the back yard. The bathroom includes the sauna for the hotel guests, so we didn't have our bathroom when people were using the sauna and had to go to the restaurant restrooms. There was also a hot tub but heated at 30 degrees, which is well bellow body temperature and so not usable especially during cold temperatures. The bed was very small for two people. We used the sauna one evening and they wanted to charge us when we checked out. We were a bit surprised, as the saune was part of our bathroom. The owner waved this charge as we protested. The whole experience reminded us of our previous camping trips with our trailer. For 280.- à night it is totally overpriced and we expected more comfort. As we asked for a gesture from their part, the manager walked away and slammed his office door :-(

The hosts were incredibly accommodating. The views were unbeatable and the breakfast was fresh, tasty and full of local products. The beds were realy comfortable. The newly renovated rooms were beautiful.

-Not a con for us as we went in October, but do note that room doesn't have A/C like many Swiss properties

I was travelling with a pet and they made it so easy for me. Prepared a corner in the restaurant for breakfast for me and the dog. Water bowl was already there when I came down and they did everything they could to make him and I feel welcome.

Limited availability of reception staff after 5pm. The breakfast is pretty basic and if you come after 9.30am a lot of things are gone already and it looks a bit messy.

I loved the location of this spot, it was near the cable cars which made it easy for us to get to Oeschinen Lake for my elopement. Would 100% recommend again. Ran into a small portion at dinner due to there beinf 8 of us so we had to split. One of the servers didn’t seem to thrilled we were there but the lady that served us was an absolute doll. That was minor though and understand a party our size was possibly a lot more than expected without a reservation. So if you’re coming here just make sure you make a reservation for larger parties or just in general to ensure you are taken care of.
