The accommodation and breakfast on offer is genuine 4 star quality. Comfortable and very good. The location is fine if you need to be in the Randburg area or the North-West suburbs of Johannesburg. It is also not far from the Sandton CBD. Security is good. The establishment is an oasis in an area which is unfortunately deteriorating.
I think the price increase is overdone.

Attention to detail is evident everywhere. The rooms are immaculate, and the gardens gorgeous. Breakfast was fabulous!

The room was lovely and clean, nicely furnished and the gardens were beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious
The outdoor breakfast patio was right outside my door and the guests taking early morning breakfast at 7am were very loud on all 3 mornings I was there. It would’ve been nice to have someone remind guests to be respectful of people still sleeping, like overseas guests with jet lag. I would have also appreciated replenishment of bottled water on days 2 and 3 as I was told the tap water isn’t safe to drink. I received 2 small bottles on day 1 only

This is an amazing property with the best hosts. The breakfast was incredible. The view and the gardens are exquisite.

Breakfast was exellent. Estelle served us with friendliness but in a professional manner.
Only a couple of very minor things. The teapot provided had a very fine leak at the base which allowed steam to come out onto one's fingers if not careful. Sink area very small - not sure what could be done there? A draining board would also help.

The most beautiful place in a very beautiful and in a very safe area. The gardens are the most beautiful I’ve seen. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, they even went and got us baked beans as we missed it so much. The owners are just as great.

The owner was friendly and engaged with all guests. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The bridal/honeymoon suit was out of this world. We had flowers freshly picked from the garden, wine and chocolates. The room was not only aesthetically pleasing, everything in there was luxurious.
I just wish they had gowns in the bridal suit

This was a very relaxing stay on a beautiful property. I enjoyed the antique furniture. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The hosts were friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed the full bathroom with the lovely bath and shower. It is a wedding venue as well and I can see why - it is a very romantic and beautiful place.

I've never experienced such tranquility. The honeymoon Suite was filled with elegance, my husband and I enjoyed it, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was amazing, I loved how intimate it is. The owner checking in the next morning was such a wonderful surprise. The service was beyond excellent.

I certainly enjoyed my stay with my partner. The place is lovely with beautiful gardens. The room had fresh flowers from the garden😄the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was superb🤞location is great just near Sandton. We'd definitely visit again,we enjoyed our stay😊

Estelle is excellent. Breakfast the best. Garden stunning. Decor stunning.
Would have loved a little microwave to warm my food as it is winter and my food which I bought on my way was cold by the time I got to eat after long trip. Bed a tad soft. But all in all excellent stay.

Estelle was extremely helpful when we arrived with an issue with our luggage. The personal attention she showed and lengths she went to honestly saved the end of our trip from becoming a disaster!
Breakfast was sensational! The best we had on our trip to South Africa and up there with the best of all time.
The room was very clean and nice and quiet. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
