About this house rental
Situated in Ouray, this attractive house for £369 per night is a great option for your next break. ***Book Today for Only $300 Down at the Time of Booking*** STR Permit #2024-1064 Our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1890's home, which is on the Historical Registry, features a range of historical relics and modern conveniences. Located a block off of Main Street, within walking distance to everything Ouray has to offer, the location of our home makes for a perfect home base for your mountain getaway! This home was newly furnished in late 2018. It offers a fully-stocked kitchen which has everything you need to prepare meals with family and friends. It has a formal dining area that seats 8 people and plenty of dishes and glassware for formal entertaining. It also has a separate dining nook for 4-6 people that's perfect for breakfast and lunch. The main living space has a spacious and comfortable family room area with a large flat-screen TV and an electric built-in fireplace. There is a propane grill for your use, as well as outdoor furniture for your comfort. Bed Configuration: Master Bedroom - King Bed - 2nd Floor 2nd Bedroom - King and Queen - 2nd Floor 3rd Bedroom - King and Queen - 2nd Floor 4th Bedroom - Full Bed - 1st Floor. There is a full bathroom on the main level with a full bathroom on the second level. There is a laundry area with a washer and dryer on the upper level as well. The home is pet friendly (2 pet max), and the pet fee is $40/day (Max $250). Although the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has advised that Covid-19 is spread mainly by person-to-person contact, we follow CDC guidance relative to cleaning and disinfecting and are following best practices, including paying close attention to high touch surfaces and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for surfaces. Linens, towels, bedsheets, etc., are washed per manufacturer's guidelines. We are also minimizing person-to-person contact from check-in through departure. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

We loved that this house was right next to the Main Street. The view from the master bedroom was breathtaking, gorgeous mountains. The kitchen was well stocked, comfy beds. Plenty of room for our family of six. The kids loved the pool table, games and toys! We enjoyed the two separate living rooms, so our two teens could watch something different than our two younger ones. Great communication with the property manager. We would definitely stay here again. Everyone in town was so nice too, lots of conversations, very friendly people. We loved Orivs Hot Springs, just a 10 min drive, it’s a must!!

Very enjoyable place for our group of 7. Clean, kitchen well stocked for those who enjoy cooking, beds are comfortable. TV access to all your usual streaming platforms. Downtown Ouray is right out the door. Management was helpful, easily available, not intrusive.

Our family of 11, including 6 adults and 5 kids under the age of 13, spent 6 full days at this very spacious, non-fussy home in Ouray. It was a perfect location to walk to all the highlights of the town, being just a block off Main St, and to drive to nearby locations. I appreciated the large uncluttered rooms with all amenities. Because the house was tidy but not overly pristine, it made for a relaxing week. The kids enjoyed the basement pool table and chalkboard walls, but the space was very much in need of a good cleaning. The front door lock was difficult to open. I was told that one could only access the house via a set of stairs so decided not to bring my 100 year-old-mother who uses a walker. This was not the case as the front door is a straight shot from the parking area in front. I was afraid with windows open at night the streets might be noisy but most establishments close by 9 PM so we experienced very little noise.

What a lovely old house! Well-maintained and upgraded with the essentials. We enjoyed having multiple places to ‘hang out’ - both indoors and outdoors. The yard was a lovely place to sit and perfect for our dogs. We even heard some soft jazz in the evening from a nearby restaurant. Communication was excellent. Easy check in and check out. The kitchen is a bit snug for multiple chefs, but there is plenty of other space nearby and it was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. One of our best rental experiences.

This house was perfect for us. There were 4 couples and the space inside the house fit perfectly. The house sits 1/2 block up from the main street also just down from Cascade Falls and centrally located so you are within walking distance to all the amenities of Ouray. Stepping out the front door provided amazing views. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in this home in Ouray, CO. The pictures online do not do it justice; it is a beautiful home and much larger than I was expecting. It is a historical home than has been beautifully renovated and the owners have stocked it well almost everything you can imagine for cooking and entertaining. The rooms are large with two living areas, two TVs, a pool table in the basement, 4 bedrooms (sleeps 12 comfortably.) The town of Ouray offers much to do and there are many hiking trails etc. We were in town for our daugher's wedding at Ridgway State Park and it was absolutely fabulous. This home provided us with a great base for us as well as our guests, right in the heart of downtown Ouray.

Charming historical house, perfect location, right on Main street and 8th Ave. You can walk to the Cascade waterfall park in two minutes. The interior is clean and tastefully done. The rooms are spacious. There is a basement with a pool table - nice surprise. Showers, washer/dryer are all in great working condition. The only imperfections would be the smell in the bedrooms (which could be from a previous guest who smoked); the quality of the bedsheets could be improved a tad. Overall a winner in this beautiful small town up in the high mountains.

We loved this rental! Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The two living rooms were perfect since we had teenagers with us. The kitchen table was used as a game table since there is a large dining table that fit all of us. The beds were super comfy and having the washer and dryer was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again! Oh, the location was perfect! Just down from Cascade Falls, close to the shops, hot springs, fellin park and perimeter trail!! Highly recommend! The rental company was very responsive as well for check in, etc...

Perfect location. Perfect home.
We had the best stay in Ouray thanks to staying at this property! The home layout is perfect. Every age group had a space to hang out in. The location can’t be beat. The adults in our group were able to play yard games while the kids easily walked to the hot springs and park down the street. We walked to MoJos coffee every morning, and walked to Main Street for shopping, food, and drinks (it’s a half block away!). Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We are already planning a trip back.

Large!
Lots of beds. Great for large families. Right off of Main St. Parking can be a little difficult in front of the house. It was unusually warm while we were there, so the upstairs was pretty warm, but didn’t take long to cool down at night. There’s a basement with a pool table. However there is also a small room in the basement with one chair in it, blue walls and someone wrote “let me out” on the inside of the door to that little room. Creeped us out a little. Overall, was a good place to stay. Has all the conveniences you need! Close to everything in Ouray.

Great location - about 1/2 block from Main St and downtown Ouray. Able to walk to shops and restaurants. House was very clean and contained everything we needed for a 5 day stay. House has been rehabbed and, while there were only 4 of us, it would easily accommodate larger groups / families. Would definitely stay here agin!

Be aware that if the temperatures are warm, there is no air conditioning. Most of the time this would not be a problem, but the day we checked in it was 86 degrees upstairs, which is where the bedrooms are. There appeared to be an air conditioning unit and on the thermostat you could select heat or cool. We contacted the property manager and were told that the home doesn’t have air conditioning, but she would contact maintenance. We didn’t hear anything more after that. After a couple days it cooled off and it didn’t matter anyway.
We enjoyed the roominess of the home. The kitchen is supplied with a keurig and a drip coffeemaker. Also many utensils, dishes, pots and pans.

Ouray/Telluride Skiing and Mountain Adventure
One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in! The house was more than big enough for our party of six. Beautifully restored home just around the corner from Main Street. Ouray is a dream - an incredible historical mountain town! In the house, the furnishings all seemed new with very comfortable beds and linens. There were multiple sofas that were very comfortable, especially after a full day of skiing! The house was stocked with many games and movies, to watch on the two flat screen smart tv’s - with Apple TV’s. The basement had a pool table which also was perfect entertainment after skiing! The kitchen and dining room had everything imaginable that one would need to prepare large meals. The manager was also very responsive. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this beautiful property!!!

Ouray Man Trip 2020
This property had everything I was looking for to accomodate a Ouray Jeep trip with the guys (Everyone age 45+) ...5 separate beds, out-door grilling space, steps to downtown, and an out-door green space with Mtn views. It even had a pool table in the basement. There is an apple tree in the yard and several Mule deer walked up one evening for some apple treats. Bonus!! I would 1000%% stay again!!! Loved the property!!
