About this house rental
Situated in Daly City, this attractive house for £140 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Relive the classic days of the San Francisco 70’s in this vintage styled South San Francisco home. In the Home you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, each bedroom is fun and styled; from our bedroom with orange shag carpet to our master bedroom with a leather headboard and mirrored vanity, each room has something fun to offer. The home is equipped with fast WIFI, a Smart TV in the living room with Netflix, Prime video (+ more), and a record player. On the walls we have vintage paintings showcasing some of the finer things. We also have some fun vintage books about the Bay Area and classic National Geographic magazines to flip through in your free time. Our kitchen has all the basics if you’d like to cook or store your food, feature a decently sized dining table for families and friends visiting of all sizes. In our backyard, you’ll find a wonderfully large palm tree, the true tree of California towering over 3 stories. Out-back you’ll also find a lounge area equipped with 4 chairs and a table to enjoy the fun California sun by are constantly growing garden. The home is nestled by the San Bruno mountains, are great place for hiking and exploring, SFO airport and the San Francisco Bay Area Bio-tech hub. Just south of Downtown San Francisco by about 15 min driving, our home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood compared to the bustling downtown area. With-in walking distance we have a few restaurants, a local children’s playground with a massive basketball court and a laundromat. We are constantly updating the experience with new styles and trinkets to include more flavor of San Francisco’s past. Thank you for reading, we look forward to hosting you soon!

The property owner STILL has not responded to email about the check out process! The place IS Not as advertised- nothing is vintage about the property, inside or out. And, that wasn’t enough it’s not secure either. None of the windows have working locks. It was quite stressful to sleep knowing that we were not completely secure.

The house is older but VERY clean in a very safe neighborhood with everything that we needed surrounding and everything within. We enjoyed the backyard being so private

everything in the kitchen is grimy dirty. Items in cupboard expired more than 10 years ago. There is likely black mold in the bathroom. Windows and tracks are filthy. Only superficially vacuumed. Neighborhood is fine and easy access to Hwy 101. This house needs a renovation and serious cleaning.

The house came as advertised in the photos, adequately clean. The neighborhood felt relatively safe, no real issue with leaving your car out for multiple days. Instructions for check in were clearly laid out. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels/linens were provided.
My only negative would be that there's one bathroom, and there's no exhaust; just a window. I do however, recognize that we got the rental at a fantastic price including taxes, fees, etc. so can't complain too much.

We had a lovely time at this stay in South San Francisco. The location was great, close to the airport, and not too far a drive to the city center and other attractions. It is a "dated" house (70's decor as advertised) but it is definitely clean and well maintained. The house smelled fresh and clean and everything was in order. The host was also great with communication and very accommodating when my flight got delayed 6+ hours.
Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wi-if went out during our stay, messaged the owner who rebooted an reestablished WiFi within minutes.

The house is 8 min from the airport, 20 min from downtown and a block away from a grocery store. The neighborhood was quiet with no issues. Unfortunately the heater of the house broke down when it became extremely cold. The manager did bring us 2 small heaters but weren't able to warm up the entire house. Upon arrival, the house was somewhat clean. I think after every use when cleaning the home, they should concentrate more on the kitchen a little more, the tub as well. The unfortunate thing, no washer and dryer, over all I think it was a great experience, obviously cheaper than hotels, and we will look forward to this property again in the future.

Adequate, could be cleaner, some concern of black mold, a bit of a smell. Parking is a shocking squeeze, but the owner is friendly and helpful and quick to answer, everything is actually comfortable. Close to airport, highway, and some Spanish food markets.

As listed very simple no frills home but lots of room. The feel of this older home makes you feel like your not on vacation. The house was clean and comfortable and the location made it easy to get everywhere under 30 minutes. The owner is correct parking is prime on this street very tight, however we were able to park in the driveway with a mini van, a smaller car will have no issues parking in the driveway. All in all we would stay here again.

This house was great, it was close to a school park that was fun for my daughter, also good walking area for my dog, and so close to the city without being right in it. It was perfect for our family.

Loved this property!
This house was great, it was close to a school park that was fun for my daughter, also good walking area for my dog, and so close to the city without being right in it. It was perfect for our family.

Comfortable Home
Overall, was a great stay. Three individual rooms were roomy and were big enough for our family of four. There were towels, toiletries, and even a candle to make us feel at home. The house was on the older side so it did have an older smell to it. We did have to light the candle to mask the smell a bit. Other than that it was a very great and comfortable stay. Very easy check in and check out. The parking is enough for about three small cars or two big trucks in the drive-way. Street parking can be a hassle on the weekends. This home makes you feel like a local if you decide to stay here.

Cozy home close to the city
Stayed here during our kids spring break. The location of the home is close to the airport and you can hear planes taking off from there. But the noise level is barely audible and all the rooms have black out blinds which is a big plus.
Amenities in the home were abundant and definitely appreciated (ie toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, ground coffee, filter paper for the coffee, etc). Close to nearby restaurants too as nothing was more than a quick 5 to 10 minute drive. If driving into downtown itself, 20 to 25 minutes during non rush hour traffic.
Getting in touch with the owner was easy and whatever inquiries we had, he promptly responded within 30 minutes or less. Neighborhood is a working class one but the street itself is narrow and street parking is limited. There is a dedicated driveway to home though.
Overall, the family enjoyed their stay here. Would highly recommend.
