Located along the shores of Deep Creek Lake, KooKooKaChoo boasts a coveted location along quiet cove waters for a setting steeped in serenity. You'll love enjoying morning coffee out on the massive oversized deck, the sparking lake and swaying trees before you. Throughout the many spacious and well-appointed rooms, you'll find many spots to come together with loved ones from the large dining room table to the lower level game room and so much more. Inside and out, this is truly a home built for coming together. Location Features: This home is located just down the mountain from many of Wisp Resort's activities! Come Winter, Wisp's mountaintop location is located less than 5 minutes away, as well as Wisp's Lodestone Golf Course and the Adventure Sports Center International (ASCI), which contains an amazing manmade whitewater rafting course, right on the mountain! Sleeping Arrangements: 3 King, 2 Queen, 1 twin bed with trundle, 1 twin bunk bed * Winter Advisory: Deep Creek is a mountainous region that experiences more snowfall and ice than you may be used to. Many roads and driveways can be steep. 4WD/AWD vehicles are advised in the winter months. * Please note: The home has a video-only security camera on the outside of the property.

Total of 10 adults for a couples trip Friday through Monday and this house was perfection. Our original plan was to go to Wisp on Saturday to ski and tube. House was so comfortable that we opted to just relax and watch movies all day. As the chef of the group I really appreciated the fully stocked (appliance/utensilwise) kitchen. Mixing bowls, bakeware, cutting boards, various knifes, servicing bowls, keurig, blender, food processor and the list goes on. We brought charcoal in the event the gas grill wasn’t working but both were functional. Due to the snow we did not use the fire pit but the hot tub was perfect.
Property management was great, prompt, and responsive. House was very clean. We plan on coming back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin and getaway. Everything we needed was in the cabin and it helped tremendously once we noticed we left a few essential. This was a great cabin to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate with friends. We look forward to coming back in the Summer!

We spent Labor Day weekend at the Kookookachoo Deep Creek Lakehouse with our extended family and we had started planning our return trip for next year before we even left! This home is stunning, immaculate and equipped with everything you can think of to host a relaxing, fun-filled family weekend get-together. The layout of the home and rooms are well thought out. Even though you have a house full of people (we had 14), it never felt crowded. There's plenty of room to spread out between the inside and outside spaces. The backyard fire pit area is awesome and a perfect place to relax and reflect on the days events. The walk down to the lake is awesome and well-lit at night. The location of the house is great as well, close to shopping and Swallow Falls Canyon Trail but tucked away to perfection. Highly recommend! Just book it...you will not be disappointed!

We had a great time at this house! Group of 12 guys and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The multi-tiered deck and backyard provides a ton of outdoor space that is great, and the private dock is awesome! Overall great stay!

Our family is sooooo happy to have found KooKooKachoo and Red Barn! We've been coming to the lake for 29 years and have used the other 2 rental companies prior to finding you. We can really tell the difference when it comes to little things like having extra supplies, cleanliness and upkeep, and being able to reach one of you via text or phone call. All of these things make us feel well taken care of. We selfishly wish you all the best for the future because we don't want to go back to RR or TM!!!

House is very spacious, clean, and well maintained. Easy access to the lake, however alot of boat traffic, not in a "no wake zone" therefore a lot of waves. Hot tub was great, but the deck lights did not work on that level. Would definitely rent again.

What a beautiful place to vacation.
This home is very spacious and beautiful. It can accommodate large groups very comfortably. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes and silverware.
Couple of issues we had (hot tub and bear proof garbage cans) were handles very quickly. Staff works very well with guests.

This house was so nice! We had 10 people in our party and the house fit us perfectly, with room to spare. It was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a hit with the group, as well as the double fireplaces. The extra fridge was clutch because we didn’t realize how much food we had for the group. Response time to any questions was very quick and check in and check out were super smooth. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for us! We will definitely be back!

Both the house and management service were excellent. The house was clean and the spaces perfect for our mix of adults and kids. We needed a little help with the driveway when we got to the property (it had recently snowed) and Red Barn were quick to respond and take the appropriate action.

The house was stunning. Everything was spotless and well stocked. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The only complaint I have it's the mattress in the master bedroom on the main level. There was two layers of foam on top of the mattress which caused us to lean towards the outside edge of the bed. Very very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. On a side note Red Barn vacations was top notch. Clearly the best rental company we have every dealt with. Communication was constant and easy and they thought of everything.

You can’t do any better!
This is an amazing realtor and our stay at Kookookachoo was perfect. The house is so pretty, really spacious with lots of room for everyone to spread out and get their own space, reasonably priced, with a great location on a quiet part of the lake. It was exactly as Red Barn represented it (or more), and everyone at Red Barn is a pleasure to deal with. We have used other realtors at Deep Creek in the past and this is just a higher level of service, with personal touches that make it superior. We recommend a two-week stay and early check-in if you can possibly swing it!

Great place
Beautiful house on the lake. Place was perfect for our group. There was some construction on the property we were not told about and the dock wasn’t out. Was missing many of the personal touches expected at this price range. Leaving us just one roll of paper towels, one garbage bag and no hand soap in bathrooms for eight of us was a bit unexpected. The little things matter and will help in the long run. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this lovely home.
