After a long day out in the city, come home to this classic abode and enjoy your stay in comfort. The Space: Comfort on McCrae welcomes you with its stunning historic facade and offers a warm and inviting interior that makes you feel at home. The two queen bedrooms are equipped with high-quality linens, and a futon is available for extra guests. Each room features double-layered curtains that ensure a peaceful and private night's sleep. The living room is spacious and comfortable, with a cable TV and a decorative fireplace. To ensure your comfort while lounging, an updated space heater is provided. Moving into the dining room, you'll find a table that can fit up to eight people, perfect for family dinners or game nights together. You'll enter the well-equipped kitchen through a classic arched entryway boasting stunning exposed brick and plenty of natural light. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a stove, oven, and large refrigerator. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a washer and dryer. Essential items, including towels, are provided for your convenience. Afternoon drinks can be enjoyed in the outdoor seating area of the back patio. There is parking available for one car in the private driveway. Guest Access: You have private access by using a door code. The base price is for two people (1 room). Access will only be provided to rooms that are booked and paid for. If cleaners find that unpaid beds were used, an extra cleaning fee will be incurred. Please choose the number of guests when checking availability/pricing. A split system in the front bedroom and kitchen as well as an electric heater in the lounge room. The Neighborhood: Located in the heart of Bendigo, this home is perfect for those exploring the city on foot. If you step outside the door, you will find the quaint Percy and Percy cafe, located just one block away, which serves delicious breakfast and coffee. Other nearby attractions include Rosalind Park, Poppet Head Lookout, and the Bendigo RSL Museum, all of which can be found right down the street. There are loads of cafes and shops lining the streets of the town. Drop by Hustle Coffee and then move to the next store, Book Now, to peruse their extensive collection of books. You can take a leisurely walk up and down View St and Pall Mall, as they are located at a convenient distance from this property. Alternatively, you can go down to Chancery Lane, where you will find excellent food options like El Gordo. Start your evening with a drink at The Deck Bendigo, where you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views. Then, head to one of the great restaurants in the area, such as The Dispensary or Masons of Bendigo, for your dinner reservation. After a satisfying meal, you can either head home or continue your night out at the Ulumbarra Theatre for a show. Getting Around: Bus route 5 is available at the Baxter St & McCrae St stop right outside this property. Just 300m up the street is the Mundy St & Pall Mall stop with access to multiple bus routes such as the 5, 51, 60, 61, and 70. Bendigo Station, with access to the V line, is 1.7km away. Other Things to Note: **Security Deposits** We place a temporary AUD 500 authorisation hold on your credit or debit card from two days prior to check-in. This is not a charge; it simply ensures funds are available if needed. The hold is released within 3-7 days of check-out, provided the property is in good condition. A small bank processing fee (typically around AUD 2) may apply. Banks require us to renew the authorisation hold weekly. Security deposits may vary for more extensive listings. Please check the specific listing details for any variations. **Damage Waiver (Optional)** For some bookings, you may have the option of a non-refundable damage waiver instead of the security deposit. This is a smaller percentage of the security deposit amount. You can choose either the security deposit or the damage waiver during the booking process, depending on availability. We had the most lovely time with our family and the pet friendly house allowed us time with our new puppy. The little court yard was so nice to sit out in during a beautiful sunny day with a few drinks and nibblies as a family. We could walk into the city centre with ease and also enjoy the local hotel for dinner jsut up the road. A great location and cosy little house to enjoy our weekend.

Beautiful clean cute property with the Bendigo charm. Plenty of room for a small group. Great parking. Walking distance from Everything! We needed a degree to work the tv, but eventually got it going 🤣 Love the kitchen with Huge stove and rain shower was hot and fabulous! Highly recommended 👌

Communication with entering and exiting the house was poor. Had to wash the cutlery before using. No champagne glasses only 3 wine glasses. No extra goodies provided. No bread, cereal and only one small container of milk. Coffee pods but no coffee machine. The instruction book referred to a different brand of heater and turning on the heater was only trial and error. Very difficult to speak to the office. Did not have the address in the emails. Apparently it was in the email confirming booking. So we arrived in McCrae street not knowing the address.

Clean & tidy but not cosy or comfortable, good location Very poor communication-would take too long to list-completely frustrated trying to access assistance & maintenance. I spent first 2 hours in property trying to have sofa bed made up as pre arranged & to get heater to function. TV didn’t work. Not comfortable- especially the sofa bed- very u comfortable with ridge down middle of a “night & day”- only suitable for child Property thus not suited to 3 single adults. No outside light thus accessing front door & negotiating steps unsafe.
