Hope Town's Top Rental: Beachfront sunsets, AC, free boat dock, & close to town!
About this house rental
Nestled in Bahamas, this charming house for £864 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Full description: This modern home sits on possibly the most ideal homesite on the island: An actual beach-front house, level lot, sunset view, on the calm side, perfect soft sand, crystal clear swimming waters, good privacy, and right at the top end of Hope Town. Brand new air conditioner, new chef's kitchen, open-concept, and new back-up generator, all newly renovated bedrooms, new flooring throughout (not in the pictures yet!), new stainless steel appliances including a second fridge (comes in quite handy for bigger groups!), and new clothes washer and dryer. Master bedroom with a queen bed, guest bedroom with a queen bed, and a 3rd bedroom which has two full-size beds in a bunk (adult size), and a twin bed (thus sleeps 4 in that room), and a pull out queen size bed in the main room. A 2-minute walk from the North-End Public dock ferry drop-off, free boat docking 80 meters from the house at a newly built dock, and a short bike, boat, or rental golf cart to Hope Town and the restaurants, and yes you can cart through town now and south to the rest of the island's attractions as well. It's only a 15 minute ferry or boat ride over to the dock from the mainland, which is only a 5 minute cab from MHH international airport! Great snorkeling right off the beach, especially around the reefs at the north tip. Some renters have even caught bonefish right in front of the house after seeing them swimming by from the deck! We usually have at least 1 or 2 kayaks, some floaties, a paddleboard, etc., although sometimes they are broken or go missing and it takes a bit to order new ones in from the US. We have a great relationship with the cart rental company, so they will drop off carts right at the ferry or boat dock for you, or at the house if you prefer. We also give you a full info guide, custom-curated by us, for most of the great things around the island, best practices at the house, and lots of other good info, and we email this to you well in advance of your trip so you can plan out all the best things! For restaurants, there are many amazing spots just a short cart or boat ride away including Captain Jack's, Firefly, Abaco Inn, Hope Town Inn & Marina, On Da Beach, Mackey's, Golden Kitchen, and more coming soon! However, keep in mind that one of the nicest meals you will have is BBQing looking over the beach and sea, and for that, there's a huge grocery store in Marsh Harbour near where you land (usually a great spot for a first big shop before you come across), and a small grocery store right in Hope Town. For high season (May to August) please try and book at least 6 consecutive nights; however, if you want to stay less, just inquire here and let me know what you're looking for and I will do my best to make it work!

The Beachhouse was a one of kind experience! Not only was the property beautiful with every amenity imaginable, the location was perfect and the service/host was amazing. Kevin was so responsive answered every little question had a great welcoming Google document and knew lots of people on the island who are more than willing to help us with anything we needed. I highly recommend staying at the Beachhouse -you will create memories of a lifetime and have an incredible experience.!

We had such a wonderful stay. Kevin was extremely responsive and informative with things to do on the island and how to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Elbow and Hopetown are just amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Was absolutely incredible! The house was clean and spacious for a family of 6. Also, if you walk out the back door you are on the beach in less than 30 steps. My family and I had a great time and would highly recommend staying here to other travelers. We will probably be back again next summer!

Family of 5 had a wonderful time. The house was cozy and nice, and the beach was perfect. Kids played on kayaks and snorkeled to find sand dollars and starfish all day, everyday. The sunsets were gorgeous, Definitely our favorite time to be out on the beach and walking to the North. We would love to go back again and again.

My family had a wonderful time at The Beach House on our vacation at Elbow Cay. The house was right on the beach and we enjoyed daily walks especially at low tide. We saw stingrays and dolphins and met great neighbors at the close by houses. We enjoyed our coffee every morning on the wonderful covered porch. It was our favorite thing about the house. We can’t wait to visit again soon !

The property provided everything you need to have a wonderful experience in the Abacos. The views are spectacular, particularly the sunsets. The beach out front is perfect for families with young children calm and level. Boat slip was perfect. Host is responsive to all questions should they come up while you are there and the current caretake Ashton was exceptional. Tracked us down in a boat to let us know that he got a tank of gas for the grill!!! Really can't say enough. Enjoy!!

We had 5 guys all over 50 stay for 5 days, primarily to fish. The place was perfect for us. The house is very well finished and well equipped with anyone would even need. It is also at the north end of the island where it is very quiet but close to town. The house is only 3 houses down and within walking distance of the North End Public Dock. We had a 30 foot center console fishing boat and the dock accommodated it perfectly. We were able to hop on and offer very easily.
Kevin, the owner, was extremely nice and very communicative throughout the process, from reservation through departure. He also has a wealth of information for anything to do or see on Elbow.
I would definitive recommend this house for a family vacation.

We had a great time staying at the Beach House. The owner was very good about replying to our questions and gave us a detailed list of everything you would need to know about Hope Town. The house was very clean and the views from the porch and kitchen are incredible. Very nice living room area with comfy couches and chairs for relaxing. I hope to get back to the Beach House next year.

Great property with spacious living area. Amazing beach, perfect for swimming, sandy bottom and shallow. House is in North End which we love. A little further from the settlement but less busy and more private. We've stayed here 2 years in a row and plan on returning.

Just a marvellous stay, piece and quiet, with beautiful sunsets on the beach. People on the island are very helpful, charming, always smiling. the House is close from the northern dock, very easy to access with beautiful surroundings. The host has been very reactive when we had questions, always trying his best to ease our experience. 5 star experience with no doubt, we will surely come back !

This house is located on one of the best beaches on the island! It is a super beautiful, soft white sand beach on a bay which is perfect for morning and evening strolls. The water is crystal clear and beautiful and is so nice and calm almost all the time, the kind that is perfect for relaxing with a drink, and also perfect for our 4 yo son as it’s basically the equivalent of a zero-entry pool. We were also super excited to have a kayak at the house!! While the pictures had shown kayaks, the information sheet said there would not be any. So we were super excited when there was one, and our son asked every day to go out in it 😁 Great addition for such beautiful calm waters right out front! While the road from the N end into town is quite washed out from the hurricane and super bumpy, we just looked at it like an adventure. Definitely make sure to have a golf cart rented ahead of time though, as this way you will be able to go all around the island as you please. There are many beautiful beaches all over the island, including Tahiti beach all the way at the south end. Lots of great restaurants on the island too. We went to I would recommend On Da Beach (good food and on a beautiful beach. Hard to see the beach from the tables, but they also have Adirondack chairs that have a beach view are great during sunset), Firefly (pricey but delicious), Abaco Inn, and Cap’n Jack’s. We had been to Elbow Cay before the Hurricane Dorian And this was our first time since after it. We truly love this island and would come back again and again. This was our first time staying at this house, and we will definitely come back here again as well as it was perfect for our family :)

The Beach House is in a perfect location with it's own private beach, dock close by and fast access to diving and the harbor. The house itself is pristine. The kitchen is amazing, big dining room table, comfortable beds, and an fabulous porch with a view to die for. We have stayed at many different homes over the past 35+ years and this was one of our favorites.

We enjoyed the beach just steps from the house. The views were great and the house had all the necessary items. Boat dock is brand new and just a short walk from the house.

Kevin Mako is first class! The property is a true gem and extremely clean and comfortable. The beach is literally the best beach on elbow. My wife and our children (17 and 14) loved our stay. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. The community boat dock was new and very protected for our boat. We will be back! Thank you Kevin.

We've been looking forward this trip for awhile and it did not disappoint! The owner was so responsive and helpful. The guide he sent ahead was invaluable. We were very happy we booked our boat (Cats Paw in Hope Town) and the golf cart way ahead because it makes a huge difference in your time there. The house worked out really well for the 6 of us. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. I was disappointed however to find no outdoor furniture (very different than the online photos) other than old rusted torn stadium chairs. I understand that it's difficult to get things there but a heads up would have been appreciated because it's the first thing I noticed. The location is AMAZING! the sunsets were gorgeous and we saw dolphins right off the beach in front of the house. It's rare to be the first footprints in the sand on the beach in the morning! We had wonderful dinners at Firefly, the Hope Town Inn and breakfast at the Abaco Inn. We did need to go into Marsh Harbour for a large grocery run because there's not much on the island. I would also recommend that you bring some cash. There's no ATM's on the island! We were very happy to see Elbow Cay recovering from the hurricane. All in all a really wonderful trip!

North end paradise!
We loved The Beach House! The back yard is literally the Sea of Abaco. A beautiful, sandy beach with shallow, turquoise water...perfect for frolicking, snorkeling, or just floating in the water. Being on the North End was perfect for us. We loved the quiet and enjoyed riding our golf cart in to town. Important to rent a cart from a company that allows their carts to go to the north end...not all of them do. We rented a boat and docked it at the public north end dock.. Very convenient, a 1 minute cart ride or a 3 minute walk to check on the boat. We also anchored our boat behind the house and walked to the house. The house was roomy with beautiful views from the kitchen and living area and the bedrooms were comfortable. We can't wait to return to The Beach House!

The Beach House, Elbow Cay
The Beach House is ideally located and the perfect setting for a memorable family retreat! The condition and cleanliness of the property is excellent! We enjoyed our private super-soft sand beach and beautiful sunsets every night. The support provided by our host, Kevin Mako, was truly exceptional! The extensive information that he provided prior to our stay allowed us to connect with local suppliers to make arrangements for everything that we needed to fully enjoy our stay. Clint Russell, Kevin’s recommended fishing guide, created a day of fishing, beach lunching and snorkeling that will never be forgotten, including our grandson catching a 200 lb. blue marlin! Our family will be forever grateful to Kevin and everyone on his support team for creating an experience of a lifetime. We look forward to returning to the Beach House in the future!

This house made for the perfect stay in the Bahamas. You’re on the quiet north end of the island which results in a great nights sleep and a quiet beach day if desired. You can access many restaurants via golf cart and boat that are only a short distance away. The house was clean and newly renovated. We definitely will be coming back for another vacation!
