Being less than 10 blocks to a relaxing beach in multiple directions, this newly renovated home located in the Galveston Historic Lost Bayou District and will be perfect for beach enthusiasts and those looking to seek out the activities in Galveston. THE SPACE – LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN & DINING: Walking into this 2-bedroom home, you'll be greeted by a very comfortable living area with plenty of seating and light for your family to gather. Sink into the leather couch after a long day or watch the hottest game on the included smart tv! Adjacent to the living room, there's a splendid dining area and full kitchen that has all the stainless-steel appliances one could ask for including a full refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and stove, as well as a Keurig for those mornings when you need a boost. We’ve also included some k-cups so that you don’t have to run out for them your first day. Here you’ll additionally find an outside porch and stairwell that leads you to the captivating back yard. Past the kitchen is the full bathroom, half bathroom, and bedrooms. THE SPACE – BEDROOMS, BATHROOMS The master bedroom includes one queen poster bed with a view of the backyard, along with a ceiling fan to keep you cool and relaxed. There’s even an extra chair for those times you’d want to steal away in a good book. The second bedroom provides two queen size beds for extra guests to spread out. There’s plenty of natural light in here too as well as a nice-sized closet to hide add any clothes or extra belongings to. No need to bring linens either, we have you covered on that. There is a full and half bath accessible in this home, so you have ample space to get ready for your days. The full bath includes a lovely renovated stand-up shower too so that you can wash the day away. We’ve also included a full-size washer and dryer so you can lighten your suitcase too! THE SPACE – OUTSIDE You will also have access to all areas of the outside of the property where there is extra seating and a small yard to relax in. Don't forget the outside shower for that pesky sand that came back with you from the beach🙂 We also provide an EV charger plugin for vehicles that need a quick charge! There’s also a nice porch in the front for extra space to have that morning coffee. Whether you want to enjoy your time the night before you depart for a cruise at the Galveston Cruise Terminal (twenty minutes away), enjoy a day at the beach (less than 5 minutes away), take the family over to Moody Gardens or Schlitterbahn (less than five minutes away), or just hang out at home, this location is the place to be! Other items to note: Pets are welcome but with a fee of 25 dollars per night plus 15 percent taxes We'll ask for a signed rental agreement upon booking A $500 dollar security deposit hold will be authorized 2 days prior and held for 7 days post stay Digital keypad code provided for entry in check in details on the day of arrival Uber, Instacart, Lyft and so forth available No smoking or illegal drug use No parties or loud gatherings Smart TVs are available for use Linens and towels provided Laundry is available Air and heat available Wireless Free Wi-Fi available No interior cameras utilized

Took my family to Galveston to celebrate Christmas by the coast. The house was perfect! It was clean, beds were comfortable, neighborhood was nice; location was close to everything we wanted to do. If the weather had cooperated, we would've walked to the local pub - such a cool place. The only reason I did not give 5 stars (and this is my first time not to; I love VRBO rentals) is because we didn't get check in info until after 4pm; we got to town at 3:30 and patiently waited to gain access to the house. We cooked every morning, the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, baking sheets but no pot holders, trivets and only 2 kitchen towels. Problem was easily solved at Dollar Tree. Considering these are the only things that could've been better, it's not a big issue after the fact. The owner responded to all my messages immediately, so communication was good. I definitely would recommend this house to anyone visiting Galveston and looking for a centrally located rental.

We really enjoyed staying at this place. It was very quaint and had a nice charm to it. The host was very helpful and was very easy to reach. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Galveston. It’s also very close to the beach!

Great communication. Loved having a house to stay at while visiting out of town. It can be pricey with all the fees, but staying in hotels gets old. The manager communicated well. Easy check-in experience. Incredibly comfortable king-size bed. Some minor cosmetic things but to be expected in Galveston with older houses that have been updated. Glad to have been able to take our little dog. Very nice (and new) appliances and electronics to use. The shower and bathroom were really nice! Lots of room for a 2 bedroom!

My family of 5 rented this place for an evening. Overall it was really nice. It had great space and the beds were very comfortable. We did not really use the kitchen- but looked like it has what it needed! The street was quiet and nice - I would not go for a walk at night, but it seemed okay. It was a great location if you like going to East Beach. The property manager was responsive and nice. I have had better experiences with flexibility on check in time and check out time. They are very firm on the check in and check out time, so be out of there by 11am. All in all, I would recommend this place if you want to be close to restaurants and beach. Thing to know- there is only one driveway spot and you may not get to park there. Probably expect street parking.

Adorable historic Galveston home. We had so much fun at this property, we were able to walk to the strand and the beach. We brought our dogs and they thoroughly enjoyed the large fenced in backyard. Things to note: there is no direct access to the backyard from the house, you have to walk around the side of the house. The house is a duplex and the adjacent unit is also rented out to guests. Overall, great weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy place. It's just a short walk to the Seawall and the beaches. We had a little trouble getting into the place, but the owner quickly responded to MY issues. The only thing I would like to see improved is some written instructions on how to navigate through the TV system. I was not able to figure out how to find (if they were available) the local TV channels. Not a big deal since we didn't watch much TV anyway.

My family and I stayed four nights and were comfortable and happy with the accommodation. The owner was helpful and kind. The house is a short walk from the beach and a short drive from tons of other attractions. We hope to rent this unit again in the future!
