Margaret’s place is a great spot up in Mellieha. The property is well suited being in a quiet part Of town yet only a few minutes walk To the bus stops, several bars, supermarket, bakery etc and a 10 minute stroll to the centre of town. A car is a great addition to any holiday stay as the property has dedicated off road parking (one spot per apartment) which opens up accessibility to the whole island. The apartments are clean and equipped with everything needed. Just bring pool towels and some Euro coins in change for the metered air con, which was great on very hot summers nights. Margaret is a great host who lives with her family on the top floor of the block - never intrusive but approachable with any issues and always happy to offer directions, recommendations or advice. Numerous beaches within a ten to fifteen minute drive including Mellieha Bay with its each bars and restaurants or small secluded coves with sandy beaches such as Little Amier Bay or Gnejna Bay (both with beach bar/Lidos). Spent a comfortable and relaxing week at the apartment and would happily return again in future.

We have all had a fantastic stay lovely appartment close to town and supermarket. The pool area is lovely and the view is amazing.

We have spent fantastic holidays at Margaret place. Margaret is very friendly and welcoming host. She gave us lots of tips about Mellieha (e.g. shops, local food, how to get around) The apartment itself very spacious (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and open kitchen/leaving room), well equipped (all you need for cooking is there) and clean. The view from the terrace is just stunning. We also enjoyed a lot the private pool by the house. We will definitely consider to come back here one day. Thank you very much!

First time staying at villa Margherita, kids absolutely loved it, Margeret is a lovely lady, apartment was spotless, really recommend staying here, will definitely be back in the future.

We had a fantastic holiday staying in this apartment. The apartment itself was excellent and really lived up to the photos and previous reviews. Had everything we needed and the pool was great. Margaret was also great, really helpful both before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend.

It is a very nice flat, big Rooms and a lot of space for additional beds. There are 3 bedrooms, in which normally fit 2 beds each. In each room including the kitchen is airconditioned. The kitchen and living room are combinated and well-furnished. It has a fast internet Access for free and a television with a dvd recorder. A storey deeper there is a Swimming pool area with sunbeds, the pool is approximately 4mx9m. The bus station, pharmacy, some nice restaurants and a shopping mall called "valyou" is just 5 minutes away from the house. Overall, it is a really nice flat and if you should have a Problem, I believe the hirer will help you for sure.

We visited the apartment as a family in June for a weeks stay, the apartment was perfect for our stay it had everything we needed and for there was so much space for us all! The apartment is so big and spacious. We were left basics on arrival; bread, eggs, milk which was a lovely touch and was really useful after a day of travelling. The rooms were cool and tidy the aircon was great in the apartment. The pool area was great there was 7 of us using it and there were plenty of sun loungers for everyone, you get good sun in the pool area but also good shade. There are local restaurants and bars and supermarkets within walking distance the location of this apartment was perfect. The host was so helpful she came to greet us during our stay and helped with any questions we had she was also on hand through email if we had any further questions. There is free parking on site. We couldn’t of had a better stay anywhere else, the apartment was amazing value and we look forward to coming back again! It was the perfect stay for a family get away, thank you for having us!!!

Just returned from this amazing apartment. It was beautifully furnished, has a super swimming pool and very convenient to the village. Apartment is very well equipped. Margaret made us feel very welcome, she even left supplies in the fridge for us. The apartment is very modern and spotless. There is a large supermarket nearby and the bus stop is also very close by for buses to anywhere on the island. We will definitely return.

There was a group of five of us staying in the apartment in June 2018 and we all really loved the apartment. The pool was great and there was a collection of inflatable rings and other pool games which were available for us to use during our stay which was nice! We really enjoyed the use of the terrace which was lovely to sit outside the front of the apartment in the mornings and evenings. The rooms were spacious and clean with plenty storage space to unpack. The kitchen was very well equipped and Margaret had provided a few food items such as milk and water which was much appreciated on our late arrival! There was also a few other useful items in the apartment such as packs of playing cards, sun creams, brochures on things to do which was a nice added bonus. The air con was on a pay as you go meter, but we didn't use the air con at all as the apartment stayed quite cool even when it was around 28 degrees outside. The electrical sockets throughout the apartment were all the same as UK outlets so we didn't need adaptors to use our electrical equipment. The location of the apartment was great, it was close enough to supermarkets and bars/restaurants whilst being far away enough that it was quiet and peaceful in the evenings. I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to Mellieha!

Villa Margherita is a lovely place to stay for holiday. It is located near the centre and a 5 minute walk to the biggest supermarket of Mellieha. The house is clean, rooms are big and confortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Margaret is kind and helpful, she provide a good customer service. We had a good time and will gladly return to this house.

Margaret, We have been traveling since we stayed at '88405' and have just got back to Austin. We all enjoyed staying in your apartment and would be happy to recommend it to our friends. There are a couple of points which we would like to comment on: 1) The heat shield over the Gas Stove is positioned quite low, both my son and I banged our heads on it and we recommend it being raised. 2) Our stay in February was during a 'coldish' period in Malta and we needed a to use the A/C heating to warm the apartment - we all thought the extra cost of using that facility to be significant and would imagine that in the summertime - cooling would be even more expensive . 3) The booking and payment arrangements from the USA we found to be 'complex' as we have already discussed with you during our stay. Over all we really enjoyed our stay and the concern our host's gave to our comfort.

Had an amazing time at this villa. Margaret was wonderful with her ongoing communication throughout the process. The villa was modern, clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Location was in a lovely, quiet town. Bus tickets for the week are a MUST so you can see everything you want. Would love to come again in the warmer weather.

This is a very well appointed apartment, superbly clean and well kept in a very central position with an extremely helpful Owner who cannot do enough to help your stay a memorable one. Highly recommended

We had an excellent stay! The villas were even more spacious than we had thought and in excellent condition. The pool was perfect to escape the heat and everything else was just perfect. Our hosts were super generous and always there to help. I highly recommend these Villas!!!

The apartments are very spacious and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped and the owner could not be more helpful. She lives on the top floor and is available whenever needed but not in your face. My only drawback to these apartments is that they are not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It is a long walk to the beach down a steep hill, although it is less then a ten minute walk to the bus stop. There isn't really anywhere close to go for a meal/drink without either the walk or catching a bus. The pool isn't really suitable for very young children either. If these are not issues for you then you cannot fault the apartments. Excellent supermarket ten minutes walk away so we were able to eat in every night very economically.

Very clean and everything is in the appartment. Supermarket is nearby and so is the bus. We had a very nice stay also at the pool! The guestwife is very friendly and everything all facilities were perfect!!
