Set on elevated grounds, Margherita Villa Apartment 2 enjoy superb panoramic views of Mellieha Bay and Santa Maria Estate valley. Forming part of 3 villa units sharing the swimming pool this villa unit has a spacious terrace on the front, enjoying distant seaviews.Then on the back there is another spacious outside space/garden with plants and flowers. The terrace on the front has a set of table and chairs and seperate 2 comfortable armchairs and on the back there is also another set of table and chairs together with sunbeds. This villa apartment is equipped with free wifi, a communal washing machine, safety deposit box, cable tv with many TV stations, fully airconditioned for total comfort. This facility is optional and is pay as you use by a pay per use meter operated with 1 or 2 euro coins. On the inside this unit welcome you with an inviting living area and a seperate kitchen equipped with all the necessities. The master bedroom with an ensuite shower together with another bathroom with bath and shower and the 2 twin bedrooms. All tastefully decorated and attention to detail for all the necessary requirements one would need for a comfortable stay. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers table and chairs on 2 separate spots, the BBQ and also a shower and toilet facility close by. Private parking is always available and free of charge on the driveway of the villa. All in all a very comfortable property awaiting for you to stay!

The photographs of the apartment looked lovely at the time of booking, when we arrived the apartment was even more lovely.
The apartment was extremely well equipped. There was nothing else we could have needed.
The apartment was very spacious and comfortable.
Extremely clean and smelt lovely and fresh.
The owner was delightful and friendly and extremely accommodating.
The garden area and pool were beautiful.
I would definitely recommend this apartment and we hope to return in the future.

A large spacious apartment, clean and functional. Couldnt get aircon to work except in one bedroom. Although only needed it twice. Safe was advertised but couldnt find it.
Our 3 bed apartment had a lovely private terrace at the back. Could have done with a sun umbrella in that area as too hot to eat in during the day. And outside lights werent working at night! Shared pool. Plenty of sunbeds and well worn mattresses.
All in all good accommodation although a little worn in places.
Near to buses and supermarkets.
Good 30 mins downhill to the sea.
Owner on site, friendly and helpful.

Loved our stay in Mellieha
Super apartment, huge, comfortable and spotless. Great location, quiet but easy walking distance to shops and some great restaurants. The beautiful, sandy beach is about a 30 minute walk away, but we appreciated the exercise! Didn't need a car as there are bus stops a short walk from apartment, with regular buses to many locations on the island. Our only complaint was the week was much to short! There is loads to do in Malta and we would love to return. Thank you Margaret, you were a lovely host and a pleasure to deal with.

Great location for exploring the real Malta
Excellently located spacious property that helped us really enjoy our first visit to Malta. The owner was so helpful and made sure that our visit was truly memorable., from help with arranging airport transfers and car hire, plus advice for places to visit. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Excellent location and lovely property
We very much enjoyed our first holiday in Malta and felt very comfortable at Santa Maria Estate. Everything we needed was available and was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The owners daughter was very helpful, providing us with a list of recommended places locally.
Our arrival to Malta was in the early hours of the morning and the owner was in touch to make sure we had no problems in accessing the property. Parking was no problem, secure within the property boundary and easy to enter/exit.
The pool area was lovely and private, with all facilities catered for.
Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Malta.

A large well kept apartment with good facilities
We are a family of four, children 8 & 10 and stayed here a week. We really enjoyed our holiday, the apartment was a lot bigger than we expected and contained all the facilities we needed during the stay. The weather was changeable given the time of year so we did not make full use of everything outside (although the kids did manage a short dip in the pool). I can imagine it being glorious in the summer using the outdoor BBQ and lounging by the pool in the sun. Margaret was very helpful during our stay, explained everything and made some good suggestions of places to visit.

Beautiful villa and very nice owner

So glad to stay in this villa. Margaret made sure that we had comfortable stay with details in the folder. It was nice of her to leave essentials in the fridge as we arrived late and the shops closed at 10pm
Plenty of bars and restaurant around but nice to have a car to drive around to make things easier. The pool was a bit chilly but probably due to the time we visited Malta. Only 10 mins drive to get to the ferry to gozo and comino. Overall really nice experience and looking forward to going there again.

Margaret is a very nice host, she bought some things so we don't have to go the supermarket directly after the flight. In case of questions she helps in a kindly way and feels responsible 24/7. The location is a perfect base where you feel like coming home after your daily trips. The tourist spots all over Malta, Gozo and Comino are nearby. The rooms are also in good condition.

Great apartment
The apartment was very spacious and spotlessly clean. Margaret was lovely and friendly and available to help with any needs we had. We all enjoyed our stay. We bought weekly bus tickets which we used to get around to Valetta, Gozo (plus the ferry) Rabat and Midina and to the beach. The village is walking distance with shops, restaurants and bars and there is a supermarket very close. My only comment for improvement would be for some new pillows as these were a little lumpy, other than that the apartment was perfect for our needs.

A home in the sun
Our family of six, spanning three generations, have just returned from a two week stay in Apartment 2 of Margherita Apartments Mellieha, Malta, and we are missing having our breakfast in the sun. In fact apart from sleeping we spent all our time, at the apartment, outside either on the terraces surrounding the apartment or by the pool.
The well-equipped apartment and facilities were well maintained with lots of space inside and out, so we never felt as if we were on top of each other or the other guests. The location is good too with a supermarket, bakery, “take-aways”, restaurants (and a pharmacist when our grandson got too much sun) all within walking distance. Our host, Margaret, and her family were very friendly and welcoming and ready to provide advice and help at any time.
The location was just right for us, easy access to our preferred beaches (Golden Bay and Riviera Bay though our granddaughter liked Mellieha because of the shallow water) the Gozo ferry, coast road to Valletta and back roads to Mdina. We managed to fit in quite a lot of sightseeing, in addition to beach sessions, but almost every day ended in the pool at the apartment when we could all relax before a lazy supper on the terrace.
Our holiday was over much too soon and we were very sorry to leave what had become our “home in the sun” and we can recommend it too anyone wanting to relax in comfortable well cared for surroundings.

The villa unit was very spacious and good location
We rented the villa place and we were very satisfied and everything was as promised and as listed on the web site, extremely clean, very well equipped, quiet place, views, pool, easy access to Main Street for all kinds of shopping, Public Transportation and excellent restaurants within reach. I will surely recommend this place as we were very satisfied with the place and the prompt customer service from the owner.

Great place in Mellieha
6 of us stayed in 3-bed apartment for a week in September. The only complaint I'd have is that the master bedroom is huge, but 2 other rooms are much smaller and have single beds, which cannot be joined - ok for teenage kids, but not adult ones ;-) Besides all was fab - lovely kitchen/ lounge, big bathroom, very nice pool area. Margaret was very helpful - she allowed us to stay in the last day, as nobody was coming straight after us. Apartment is 10 min walk from a supermarket and few restaurants, and 40 min walk from the beach (but buses are also available).
Small things - washing liquid or recycling bin bags were not there and we had to buy them, also more toilet paper, but you're talking few euros (on the positive note the fridge was full when we arrived). There were no blankets anywhere and in September sheets were ok some nights but sometimes it was a bit cool. Also no additional towels for sun beds were provided (I brought my own but with hand luggage only it's not possible).
But overall very good apartament and I'd definitely recommend it!

Lovely spacious appartment
You need a car here. You can nip on buses if you prefer.Although you can walk 15mins to a couple of restaurants, a supermarket and shops.
We would of liked the maids to come in mid week and change the beds. It would of been better to have thick cotton sheets than the flanelette provided, which are better in cold weather.
We had a great stay and Margret was very attentive to our needs. Including a few provisions in the fridge for I r arrival.
Would recommend and would go back.

Well situated villa; convenient for shops, bars and beaches.
Unit 2 was spacious with its own private area at the back to eat and sunbathe. The villa has 3 units which means that the pool was not overcrowded at any time. Rooms had everything you need including a hairdryer and all cooking appliances. Margaret is a very thoughtful owner/business woman and she ensured I had some basic provisions in the fridge for when I arrived because my flight landed very late at night. She is available and friendly if there are any issues. The location of the villa is ideal. You don't particularly need a car as the bus service has improved and was not as overcrowded or irregular as I have been used to on previous holidays in Malta. I had a seat every time! You can walk to the main Mellieha tourist/shopping area and also to the beach, although I got a bus back. There are bars and restaurants at the top of the road along with a supermarket and fresh food stores. All in all, this was a very relaxing holiday with a good mix of history, culture and sun/beach. I would definitely return to this apartment again. Thank you Margaret!

We had a great week of pool, beach and trips. Great location for ferry to gozo as well as restaurants and big supermarket. Big apartment so plenty of space for 6. Would strongly recommend this for a holiday!

Great stay in the superb villa Margarita's apartme
The villa is very well located in a quiet environment.
The villa itself is gorgeous and apartment unit 3 is fantastic for a family holiday.
It's very well equipped. Next time we won't even take any toys for the kids knowing that there is everything available at the villa 🖒.
And last but not least, Margaret is a really nice and welcoming person. She is discreet but you know you can count on her.

Breathtaking view....
What a picture perfect view! The grounds were immaculate and the pool pristine. Our 3 bedroom flat was very specious and very clean. Assorted towel were all provided for our use. The owner was always very helpful with any inquires we had ... such as restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores etc...Mellieha is lovely place with all the amenities and close to public transportation as well very close to the Gozo ferry terminal. Highly recommend this very well run establishment.

Wonderfull holidays
C'est la 2ème année que nous passons à la Villa Margherita et c'est toujours aussi bien. L'appartement est très propre, spacieux (3 chambres, 2 salles de bain) et situé au calme mais à quelques minutes à pied des commerces. Margaret la propriètaire est chaleureuse, toujours à la disposion des vacanciers si besoin. les parties communes (piscine, transats, parking) sont très bien entretenues. Vous pouvez louer en toute confiance

My husband and I have been going for over 20 years marguerite and joe has always made us welcome and helpful if we needed anything. The apartments are very spacious and well kept to a very high standed and have everything you would need. The only thing I would to see are bigger towels and softer pillows everything else was very very good
