Pleasant new hotel next to the UN quarter

I had a comfortable and uneventful one night stay on my work trip. The staff members were very welcoming / ready to walk an extra mile. I have also appreciated communication with the hotel during the reservation process. All was clear. Thank you!

Je recommande vivement c'était parfait !

Le personnel était comme jai rarement vu exceptionnellement gentil, serviable, disponible, souriant... tout le monde sans exception, une équipe incroyable, que ce soit la réception, le restaurant, la sécurité, les agents d'entretiens... un grand merci à eux ! Les chambres étaient spacieuse, fonctionnelle et lumineuse, la nourriture très bonne ! C'était parfait !

Les travaux aux alentours mais dans quelques temps quand les travaux seront terminé l'emplacement sera idéal ! Juste, dommage qu'il n'y es pas suffisamment de rangement dans les chambres type tiroirs !

Okay for a short business stay, with surprisingly good wifi.

Breakfast was limited in range but okay.

The strange rule that the hotel doesn't let it's guests bring food (including snacks) and drinks (including water) from outside. Not even allowing water to be brought from outside for own consumption is odd. They should get rid of this practice

Well located hotel with a gym and restaurant. Really nice staff and shuttle available to and from the airport.

there is not a lot of sockets and not easily accessible to charge your electronics.

A decent choice if you are looking for value for money but not a five star for sure

Value for money but by no means a five star hotel. I am not sure who rates hotels in Ethiopia

The hotel had this policy of not allowing any food from outside. Being a Muslim I wanted to order Halal food from outside but was met with obnoxious response from the staff. Staff's ability to understand and speak English could be improved. Breakfast had very limited choices, mostly local food. The location was really difficult to approach and in the middle of a residential area, away from any major road or landmark.

did not arrange airport pickup as requested. room was not clean. did not explain that it you change money at the front desk you cannot Re-exchange back into FOREX at airport.

Fantastic!

The stay at the Grand Palace Hotel was fantastic! The hotel is beautiful, it has a great restaurant, beautiful rooms, fantastic gym and even sauna! In addition, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. My friend and I arrived much earlier than the regular check-in time. Not only the Hotel was able to arrange an early check-in for each of us, but it also offered a complimentary breakfast considering the early time of our arrival.

Great value for money

Very elegantly furnished. Kind and helpful staff. Restaurant and gym open 24 hours. Very good internet connection. Will definitely come back next time.

The room was a bit basic, with just a small wardrobe and no other storing space (a bigger table would help). Few power plugs, and inconveniently placed (a couple of multiplugs would solve). No hairdryer, and no air conditioning nor any way to let the bath towels dry after shower. Anyway it’s all small flaws that can be easily overcome.

very clean, up to date, friendly and helpful staff. also the complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel was a bonus!

construction around area, sound proofing (windows) not adequate. frequency of prayers from the local church woke me up several times during the night..:almost every night.

Excellent stay; outstanding front desk staff (Omar; Biruk; Bethelhem; and Biruktawit)

Young and very humble, and hard working staff

The management policy that a guest cannot be able to bring in food from outside. What if the guest has a medical condition (such as diabetes) that requires special diet? What about respecting individual choices- what if someone wants to get pizza? The hotel doesn’t have this on its menu. I presume that this is a simple issue for the hotel to rectify.
