Staff helpful and freindly, comfortable bed and Netflix available. Quiet room

Great hotel and restaurant, ideally located

Hotel located in very convenient location. We have stayed before but this time had a smaller room which was no problem.

We didn't realise when booking that there were no opening windows in this room and no fresh air. We prefer fresh air to air conditioning.

Terrific play to stay in the heart of Griffith. Highly recommend.

A gem of a place to stay right in the Main Street although no noise at all.Tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. Also appreciated the secure car parking facility. Would definitely stay here again.The buffet breakfast was terrific and well worth the $20.

Modern, clean, value for money right in the centre of town

Excellent location & a modern clean room. Had all the little extras that are good after a full day of country driving like complimentary bottled water, complimentary toiletries, clean sheets/pillows with comfortable mattress. Modern bathroom with relaxing shower, excellent large TV and powerful cold air conditioning. Quiet room with no noise from adjoining rooms

Good and then bad.

Great location and good facilities

We stayed Friday and Saturday nights and Saturday night we couldn’t sleep because of the nightclub. Way too noisy which made our trip home long and difficult. Will think again if to stay there next time we are in town.

First class stay in the middle of the city!

The room was the best example of an accessible room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom and living area was exceptional.

Limited parking options but we were not impacted upon by that.

Staff are helpful and Kind and very clean rooms, have everything you need for a short stay.

Rooms are clean, beds are super comfortable easy access to everything. Great place to stay.

No breakfast service - would be good to have breakfast - continental and coffee - at the hotel.

Nice amenities close to several eat

Compact, clean and warm. The complimentary bottles of water were appreciated. The buffet breakfast was worth the extra charge - just make sure you get in early!

The glass door bar fridge looks much better than it sounds...

Nice, comfortable and clean

No staff at service desk upon check out even though it was within hours. Small nail sticking upon between bedroom and bathroom which I stood on and then needed to carry out first aid on myself

I wont be staying at the GEM again.

No Commet

No FOXTEL available, no room service for dinner or breakfast. No Wifi available in my room, had to use mobile hotspot, room was cramped an too claustrophobic and for the price. One man complained of no hot water in his room.

Very clean new style room, even though a bit small. Service we had at the bar was excellent.

This turned out to be a little gem. We were very surprised at the Gem Hotel when we arrived with all the new renovations and the cocktail bar, we could have been in a capital city this place was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fully booked, so the food must be good.

We did feel the rooms were on the small side. It would be a bit claustrophobic if we had to stay more than a night or two.

Friendly staff with hotel rooms that were comfortable and functional, very happy would book again.

The rooms were lovely, and the hotel was central to my work needs. We ate at the Bull and Bar so it was very convenient. The makeup wipes were a nice bonus as I had forgotten mine and the pillows were plentiful and comfy. The room was functional to use as a workspace and was comfortable to relax in.

My shower had hair on the walls from check-in and when I used the shower the drain only caught 80% of the water leaving me to mop up the rest with towels.

Wonderful hotel and we'll stay there again!

All the staff, especially Shirley at reception and Leah who did the cleaning, were most helpful, generous and warm. And our dinner at Bull and Bell was brilliant—the Margra Australian white lamb dish was sensational! Hats off to Chef!
