What a fantastic time my two dogs and I had here! We were greeted by the very helpful and friendly Tony who showed us round our room and the communal areas. He was very helpful and kicked our stay off to a wonderful start. It was just a one night stop over before an event in the area the next day but it felt like a mini holiday.
The hostel is the most well equipped, clean and modern hostel I've ever stayed in! Everything you could possibly need during your stay, especially the kitchen facilities - free tea, coffee and cooking essentials were so helpful. Easy, free parking right outside the front door too.
It was spacious and comfortable, truly dog friendly and the rooms were immaculate. Will definitely be back again when I'm next in the area.

The owner was incredibly helpful and kind - upgraded our group of four to a bigger room to give us more space and also very kindly allowed us to pick up our keys and leave our bags early as we were at an event during the standard check in hours.
The rooms were very clean and well designed. The communal area was brilliant for a late night cup of tea after our evening out and there were fridges, microwaves, toasters and hobs for food storage and cooking. Very impressed by the facilities and the care taken by the staff - thank you.
Taps in the en suite bathrooms are not temperature adjustable - which isn’t a huge deal at all but would have been nice to be able to grab a glass of water or wash hands in hotter water etc. There are bottles and cups provided for you to get water from the communal kitchen and bring it back to the room, though!

The property was exceptionally clean with excellent facilities. The room was nice and the bed very comfy.
Lots of things in the communal spaces to keep our little one occupied and it was well situated.
We rang ahead to ask whether there would be any way we could be in a quiet room and explained we would be bringing our little one, the member of staff assured us there was almost no chance of any raucous guests and that they could accommodate our request, unfortunatley we were in a room next door to a group of ladies who were very loud late into the night, in and out the door and letting it slam which prevented any peaceful sleep. Appreciate it is a hostel, but feel we could have been better situated particularly given the call we made ahead of time.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about the property or the staff!
We've never stayed in a holiday property that was as clean however do believe the fairies may come in when it quiet as while we were there no-one cleaning around us
There is a home from home feel in the lounge and kitchen
A communal atmosphere is nice however rooms large enough to have time to self
Despite being in peak season with not having a lot of rooms there wasn't many folk to share lounge and kitchen with

We stayed in a family room and found everything comfortable and very practical. The communal area and kitchen are of very high standard and super clean. There is milk and cereals, toast, butter and jam. Thank you!
The location is great for exploring Alnwick castle.
The central room temperature regulation. It was too warm with 5 people in a room. Everything else was fantastic.

Great location, lovely rooms, quiet! Kitchen to prepare meals; drinks, toast and cereal available. Dining area overlooking the harbour. Great bathroom and comfy beds. Amazing facilities to store our bikes, very impressed. All staff were great.
Too hot at night, duvet too thick, and couldn't open window enough. Apparently we could have asked to have the heating turned off in our room though.

Everything was perfect. Garage is excellent for bikes even a small workshop.
Nothing to dislike
