Two bedroom apartment located in a safe neighborhood, close to Harvard, MIT, Tufts, Sullivan Square MBTA and Assembly Square Marketplace. You will have easy access to public transportation or you can drive your own car. Off-street parking in our driveway! This is a great location for quick access to the sites of Boston (i.e., Fanueil Hall, the Aquarium, Science Museum, USS Constitution. Great for couples, business travelers, or families. Clean, disinfectant wiped and fresh linens. "We stayed in this apartment for a week-long family vacation. It was clean and comfortable. Great location - the walk to the T stop was 10-15 minutes and we barely used our car for the duration of the trip. The off street parking was a huge bonus. Living room area was small, but we weren't there to watch TV! Owners were very pleasant and responsive. Would absolutely re-book this property. Date of arrival - August 10, 2023!" We were there for my daughter's graduation and spent a few days exploring Boston ahead of time. Cute little apartment. Very comfortable.

Perfect place to stay if you're looking to see Boston and the rest of New England in the fall. Convenient from the airport, the major highways and public transit. The place is kept clean, the rooms are spacious. The kitchen is very convenient and stocked with the necessities, there's a good amount of nearby groceries if needed. Off street parking is definitely a plus if you have a vehicle.

We stayed in this apartment for a week-long family vacation. It was clean and comfortable. Great location - the walk to the T stop was 10-15 minutes and we barely used our car for the duration of the trip. The off street parking was a huge bonus. Living room area was small, but we weren't there to watch TV! Owners were very pleasant and responsive. Would absolutely re-book this property.

We stayed for 4 nights. The host called me upon arrival to introduce himself and tell us about the local train stop which I thought was nice. Inside the apartment, literature about all the places to visit was available, including a very comprehensive article about the Freedom Trail. Places to eat were suggested and if we hadn't been visiting family in Somerville, we would've found this extremely useful. Basic kitchen supplies like cups and dishes were found in the cabinets. Extra towels and blankets were in a hall closet. Beds were comfortable and Netflix was available for the one night we stayed in. All in all, a very pleasant place to stay at a reasonable price!

Nice neighborhood; just as described. Charm in the old home including the creaky staircase. Comfortable bed, plenty of space for the 3 of us. Tim was very helpful assisting us with the tight parking space. Not quite walking distance to much (except nice big park and brewery/coffee place not too far). But we were there for graduation and didn't explore that much.

We had everything we needed for our stay, very clean and spacious. Liked the keyless entry, the snacks and water provided were appreciated. It was nice to be able to have coffee and breakfast before leaving for the day. This was up on the third floor but we are in our late 60s and managed just fine. I like apartments so much better than hotels, would recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay in Somerville! We got to talk to Tim for a bit while waiting on a ride and it was lovely and interesting! No complaints about the place itself except that we did have to take several Uber/Lyfts to get around easily - but it was a short and cheap ride to get into Davis square which was a nice area! The place was nice to come back to after long days at a music festival and I would stay here again!

Tim was a helpful and responsive owner and the property was clean and comfortable. My family of two parents, an adult child and a teenager slept and stayed comfortably in the two bedrooms.
Anyone with difficulty climbing stairs should note that there are steep, narrow stairs up to the third floor apartment (and tall people - watch your head on the descent... sloping ceilings are tricky!)
The kitchen was clean and pleasant with some basic items (like salt, sugar, honey, coffee and bottles of water) available, but we only found one pot, which limited cook-at-home options.
The main difficulty we had with the space was that once we plugged in the devices of a family of four to charge - there was not much space on the kitchen or bedroom tables to actually use the horizontal surfaces.
All-in-all, though, a pleasant stay and it was nice to minimise our driving through Somerville, Cambridge and Boston traffic by walking to the new Gilman Square T stop on the green line - about 15 minutes away on foot.

This 3rd-floor apartment in Somerville was clean, bright, thoughtfully appointed and perfect for us parents visiting our adult daughters who live nearby. Tim was a welcoming and responsive host. It was so great to have assigned off-street parking! I would rent this again.

The apartment was comfortable for a family and is pretty much as shown in the pictures. Tim was very helpful/responsive when we realized that one of our kids had left behind an important item.

Place was clean, but All kitchen, no sitting area other then bedrooms. TV area only fit 2 people in closet like room. Bed was good. No access to back porch was a bummer.
Fridgerator was really noisey.

The apartment was just right for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. 3rd floor walk up with queen primary and 2 twins in the second room. Rooms were airy. Would have loved hooks for coats at the entry and in the bathroom/rooms for towels. No spices provided so if you need to make a meal bring what you need. Minimal but adequate kitchen equipment - used tea cups for wine when a guest came for a quick drink which was charming. Very sweet gift of water bottles and snacks and great advice for sight-seeing. Also nice to have parking on a very tight one-way road.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. Very cute 3rd floor apartment. Enough space for our family of four to spread out and not make each other crazy. We were also grateful for the off street parking however if you have a larger vehicle you may have issues parking here. Our Toyota Sienna was a tight fit in the spot. This is a great place to stay and the hosts were great as well.

Just before we arrived I received a message,the air conditioners were removed for the season. Not what we ordered! I suspect the late notice was intended to make it difficult to cancel our stay. 2nd we found no smoke detectors upon arrival (one of the first things i always check), not safe! The owner wanted to play games, acting like he didnt know! This is on the third floor, do the other floors have proper fire protection, stay here and you risk your life, clearly the "remodel" wasn't inspected by the city! Fridge sounds like a train. Enough dishes for two people, don't expect to make anything complex due to limited cooking facilities. Oven was new or used very little. The shower was nice, just need a place for your bath towel. The bathroom fan was great. The bed was acceptable and not broken down. The "couch" was barely big enough for 2 adults, there weren't other chairs for lounging. The neighborhood is pretty rough, we didn't go walking after dark.

The apartment was perfect for our trip. It seems bigger in person. We did a day trip to Salem and then a day trip into Boston and the location of the apartment was perfect for both.

Spent a couple of nights in this 3rd floor apartment. Comfortable & clean with a supermarket and brewery nearby. We spent the day walking from the house to Bunker Hill & then along the Freedom Trail into the centre of Boston (& taxi back). Tim was very helpful & communicated quickly & well.

This property is clean and conveniently located. Near enough to Boston for easy commute to sightsee. Far enough to leave the city behind for rest and relaxation.

Contacted the owner. We needed more towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and paper towels. He told us to buy our own. We each only had one towel for each person for a four day/three night stay. There was really no place to hang them to dry.

This apartment was just as listed. It was very clean....thank you so much! It was quiet....the neighborhood was mostly quiet....lively at times but not late into the night.
The apartment was very convenient with the bus line, the orange line not too far and from what I understand the green line is going to be extended to very close by.
The owner was quick to respond to any of our needs and questions.

The property was just as described. So close to everything in boston. The owners of the property are such great hosts. We were welcomed with treats upon checking in, which made for great midnight snacks after a long day of exploring. If you have the opportunity to book this property, do not pass it up. Spacious for four people.
We had a great experience. I have to admit that, as seniors, we did struggle with our luggage on the narrow stairs to the 3rd floor. The only other thing that would have helped immensely is if the apartment had been cooling just before we arrived. We had to keep the window air conditioners on all the time (sorry!) as well as the two floor fans. Once we got it cooled, however, we couldn't have been happier with the space.

Great Somerville Stay
Tim and Claudia have an excellent place to stay for a family. The third floor of this triple decker feels rather new and renovated, very different than my memories of equivalent Somerville rentals when I was a grad student twenty years ago. I appreciated the cleanliness and "fresh" feel of the place. (i.e. the bathroom tiles looked new and the heater in the bathroom wasn't covered in rust!) The kids had their own room and there was a small TV room, so it felt very spacious. It is a third floor walk up, so I don't recommend having heavy luggage to haul up, and if you're tall you'll have to watch your head. The AC was nice to have, even though we were blessed to have incredible weather during our stay. Tim had recommended the buses, but being a T person myself I forced my family to walk to Sullivan Square, which was probably not the best idea, as it was a longer walk with not much to look at, so my kids got cranky. I'd probably take the bus to the T next time. (We didn't rent a car.) Tim and Claudia also left us a lovely basket of goodies upon our arrival, so that was also a sweet touch. Great place! I wish it had been closer to a T stop, but other than that- I highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at Tim's place. The apartment was located close to Cambridge and Boston, very clean, had everything we needed, and communication with Tim was easy. We'd stay here again if in the area!
