The building, originally a famous department store founded in 1918, was frequently visited by legendary author John Steinbeck who purchased his writing materials and household items there. Bedrooms and Bathrooms Bedroom #1 features a California king bed and views of the quaint downtown area and a peek of Lovers Point and the bay. The en suite bath offers dual sinks, deep soaking tub and separate two-person shower with built-in niche to hold shower necessities. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, 55-inch HDTV and views of downtown. Bedroom #3 is located off the living room and has a queen bed, décor in tones of blue, gray and white, and locally-themed artwork. A full hallway bath includes a spacious shower with built-in seat. The home has a powder room and a laundry room with front-loading machines. One reserved parking space is available in the garage below and additional parking is available on the street. An elevator takes you to the upper level. Sorry, this is not a pet friendly building. Please note that in 2024 there is an construction project in the lot to the rear of this building. Your view will not be impeded. This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month.
