The rooms were good and the location great. The facilities were just what was needed.

The front door was badly needed painting. It gave the wrong impression straight away. Inside the main door, hadn't been swept for a while and old mail lying around. The fridge had to be cleaned, there was stuff left from previous occupants. All trays and compartments were taken and washed thoroughly. I did all this before my golf group arrived.

The landlord was very helpful and sent lots of information to us prior to our stay. We were able to check-in early. The location was very central.

The flat felt more like student accommodation and was a little bit grubby and rough around the edges. It needed fresh paint and some damage repaired- e.g. one of the bathroom doors had a hole in it. Most of the bedrooms had a fusty smell and really needed the windows to be opened to give the rooms a good airing.

the entrance hallway and outside stairs were filthy, very small and sparse furnished living/kitchen area. in need of major redecorating, it felt like a student crash pad and was so disappointing for what we paid for it. there were also open wires hanging out the wall in the hall and the doorway looked like it was blood stained - absolutely terrible!
