Located in Poipu, this lovely condo for £231 per night is a great choice for your next break. If you are looking for a beautiful, spacious, incredibly clean, affordable condo with fantastic amenities located right in the heart of Poipu….you've come to the right place!! Pakele Kahakai or "Beach Escape" is what our family calls our dream Kauai home. This condo puts you in easy walking distance to world famous beaches, and a very short drive to fantastic shopping, restaurants, golfing, and many other popular attractions! Take a quick stroll just outside the condo on the “Greenbelt Walkway” and you will arrive at Brennecke’s Beach and Poipu Beach in about five minutes, or head the other direction and you can walk to the Grand Hyatt Hotel and Shipwreck Beach in under ten minutes. You could not ask for a more central location in the middle of the action! Poipu Beach has been voted "Best Beach in America" by the Travel Channel and it is not hard to see why. Poipu Beach has a section of calm waters perfect for families with young children, but is also great for snorkeling, swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing. There is a huge lawn area with shade trees, picnic tables, kids play-area, restrooms, showers, and some food options. With 1329 sq/ft of space, two large bedrooms, two updated bathrooms, and three separate outdoor lanai’s, this beautiful condo not only gives you plenty of room for your group, but you truly feel like you are at home. You will be hard-pressed to find a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo anywhere in Kauai that has this much space! There is an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining room which is great for entertaining or relaxing. The front lanai looks out to lush tropical green surroundings with mountain views, and each bedroom has its own private lanai with stunning garden views. Time your stay right and you can literally pick fresh bananas from the tree off the bedroom lanai! Both bedrooms have king beds, and a queen-size very comfy Murphy bed is conveniently tucked away in the dining room area, making for very relaxing sleeping arrangements for up to six guests. Air conditioning was recently added in both of the bedrooms and can keep the entire condo cool. Every room in the condo has ceiling fans, and there are also great natural breezes. You also don't have to worry about bringing your beach gear, we supply everything you need: snorkeling gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach blanket, boogie boards, beach toys, and an ice chest. We also supply all linens, including beach towels, paper products, soap, laundry pods, dishwasher soap, coffee, and coffee filters. The large kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need including chefs knives and great pots and pans! Both the kitchen and bathrooms were fully remodeled complete with granite countertops, new cabinets, and seamless showers. There is new and very plush carpet in the living room, hallway, and bedrooms. This condo is loaded with stacked laundry, free High Speed Wireless Internet, Alexxa, and flat screen TV’s with cable in both bedrooms and the living room. In addition to its ideal ground-level location and close walking access to some of Kauai’s best beaches, there are amazing amenities that come along with staying at the Poipu Kai Resort! Your group will have access to 3 beautiful pools and jacuzzi’s. We have a lovely pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ area conveniently right around the corner but just far enough away to avoid the noise. You have access to tennis and pickleball courts, BBQ grills, beautiful lush green surroundings with lighted walking paths, a designated parking spot, and ample additional free parking. Family of 5, with kids aged 11,15,18 visiting Kauai in December. The condo was clean, roomy, and the washer/dryer, kitchen appliances, and all other things provided were top notch! We appreciated the boogie boards very much!! The location was so perfect to walk to every sunset and sunrise, as well as 3 beaches.

Aside from the A/C, great location, and beautiful condo the details are amazing. Motion sensored night lights, batteries, plastic wraps/forks/baggies, lots of games, extra fans, 3 TV’s, laundry detergent….so many little things that make a big difference. The beach gear is also an amazing haul and all of it in great condition. As one who is super picky about cleanliness (think Monica on the sitcom Friends) I didn’t have any complaints or concerns. Super clean, no bugs, and no smells. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. It’s so much bigger than expected and the Murphy bed a great bonus.

We usually stay on the north shore but decided to stay in Poipu to be close to some family. Amazing property in a great location, and the hosts were communicative and lovely. It’s a quick 5 min walk through the beautiful community to Poipu beach. The hosts have equipment for you to use and we a absolutely loved our stay.

The condo was as advertised, clean, and in a great location. My family very much enjoyed our stay. There is a strong musty smell that does not seem to go away no matter how much you air the place out, but I understand this is probably normal in a tropical environment. Some of the towels that were put away clean smelled like they had not been dried properly, we just re-washed and dried them and all was well. Although the air conditioning in the bedrooms is great, the front of the condo does not ever seem to cool down, which was a little rough for our kids who slept on the Murphy's bed as it was super hot and humid during our stay. None of this would stop us from staying again though. Owner was very responsive. Pool was great as well for days we did not go to the beach. Beach equipment provided is a huge plus as well! Great place!!

Pictures as advertised! Place was much bigger than expected! Very roomy and spacious. All amenities needed for your stay! Pool/spa/bbq was about 500 feet away from the condo. Be sure to grab a parking pass from the dining room cabinet to avoid any ticket violation, we learned the hard way. Poipu beach is just either a short 1 minute drive or about 8-10 minutes walk down the path in the back. Poipu is close enough to town/Lihue for all your shopping needs. Make sure you do a Costco run before heading to the condo, we didn't buy much food, but we threw out a ton of food! Communication with the host was great. We had a few encounters with the toilet and Angelica was so quick to remediate the issues and even replaced the toilet in main bath (during our stay) as we still had issues. Lydgate and Poipu were the best beaches to take the kiddos to. Makauwahi Cave was fun, make sure you bring water! Take the scenic route down and back up instead, much easier!

The property was located just in the right place for our plans. The beach equipment was great and very useful. The A/C also help a lot especially after coming in from outside. We would stay there again and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

The location was perfect!! The house was everything we wanted, including A/C. It did smell a little musky from humidity but understandable being Hawaii. The murphy bed was addition and also why i chose this one. The pool and hot tub were right outside the front door. So happy!!

Our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents loved this condo. The location was perfect - with walking access to beaches and dining. Both ACs in the bedrooms made our stay very comfortable. The lanai closet, bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped for our stay. Angelica was very responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend this home.

Vancouver and Calgary airports were in chaos with multiple cancelled or delayed flights resulting in us missing connection to Kauai. Nothing we could do except rebook, spent 3 nights in Vancouver.

The property is located in an amazingly beautiful area. It was easy to travel to all areas of the island. The condo is well kept and was perfect for the four of us and could have easily accommodated two more guests.

We could not have been happier with our stay at this condo! The location is lovely - within a 10 minute walk to 2 great beaches and steps away from one of the resort pools. The beautifully remodeled condo has everything you need for a Hawaiian vacation including beach gear, all the kitchen essentials, three quiet lanai for enjoying just sitting outside. Angelica was incredibly helpful and communication was very easy for check-in and check-out.

Great location
My family of five fit perfectly at this property. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach chairs, sand toys, boogie board, and wagon were so nice to have. We were able to walk to Poipu beach a couple times thanks to the wagon! The location was perfect! My entire family loved our stay here.

Tropical paradise
Lovely condo with a few pools, tennis courts that lead down to Poipu beach. The condo was spacious even though a 2 bedroom. ...the murphy bed in the living room helped as we had 3 teenagers. Perfect location for visiting other parts of the Island like Waimea Canyon and the Secret Falls in Kapa. The furthest part of the island in Princeville only took a little over an hour. Only 25 mins from airport and Costco as we were on a budget and fresh Poke was great from there.

The condo was clean and owner has it very well stocked with essentials. Loved the beds sooo comfortable. Slept soundly every night! The air conditioners in the bedrooms was a huge plus. Only downside was you could here every step from unit upstairs children running and the scraping of dining chairs being moved.

We are 4 older adults who spent a lot of time driving to different parts of the island. The condo has great parking and access to the roads but no street noise. And the walk to the beach was lovely! The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. We had a great time!

The property location is great a short walk to the beach. A/C units worked great! Although we wish it had a unit for the living room area. We also didn’t find the fans until late in our stay but those definitely helped. The place was comfortable and easy to locate.
