This two-story retreat has been designed with comfort and convenience in mind, with a location near Indian Shell Mound Park and Audubon Bird Sanctuary. The first level of the home is where you'll find the main living space along with a laundry room and all the bedrooms (four) and bathrooms (three). The living room's decor is simple, yet enchanting. It has light blue and white touches throughout, two recliners, a sofa, and a loveseat in front of a flatscreen Smart TV with cable. If you were planning on having a series marathon this is the place to be. The chef of the group won't believe it when they see the kitchen. It's spacious and fully equipped to make cooking a breeze. You'll have gorgeous granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, French door fridge, coffee maker, microwave, stove, oven, and more! It also features an island and a breakfast bar with two high stools. Right off the kitchen is the dining area with a gorgeous six-person dining table. This level offers access to front and back decks, each one with its own charm. The front deck has a picnic table along with a handful of chairs and the back deck has a small dining area and overlooks the enclosed yard. Upstairs, you'll find a cozy family room with a c-shaped sofa, an armchair, a small desk, and a flatscreen Smart TV with cable. THINGS TO KNOW Please note there are steps to enter the home. This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. My daughter and I had a great time. We took our dog to the beach for the first time and he loved it. The fenced in part of the yard is not attached to the house. It was great to have though!

This home was perfect for our group. The decor was beautiful and the kitchen was so well stocked. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. The loft was perfect for the teenagers with their own TV and all of the games and puzzles. The screened in porch off of the back was a nice place to watch the lightening storm. Thank you for having us.

We were here in March/April - weather cool enough for walkers and warm enough some days for beach fun. Every night was an extraordinary sunset and I actually managed to catch the sunrises a couple of mornings too. We fell in love with Daughin Island. The house was perfect for our family. Very large beautiful kitchen, fun beachy decor tastefully done. Our pups loved the backyard fenced-in area - what a treat that was, especially for a dog who just went swimming in the gulf. Location was excellent - a quick 6 minute walk to the beach for times when you weren't lugging a bunch of stuff. And the drive and park beach access was a 2 minute drive down the road. Puzzles, games, wifi ( a little on the slow side) and a wide front comfy porch on which to sit and relax . A really nice place to stay. The back porch is completely screened and was a nice spot to see the sunrise over the homes. Thank you so much for the hospitality this house provided to us.

Property clean and well maintained with a great kitchen. Fenced backyard for a dog. Sleeping arrangements were not exactly as advertised, but there was 4 separate bedrooms and a loft. It took a little bit of rearranging sleeping for kids, but otherwise it was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Lift was not operational which was disappointing and it was not made for people only luggage. That should be more clearly stated.

The house was beautiful. The island only has a few places to eat and a lot souvenir shops. We were glad that it had the fenced in yard but you do have to go out the front door and around the side to get to the yard but overall it was a beautiful house.

Great property- booked with ease. House very clean. Kitchen was the most stocked we have had in a VRBO. Great selection of games for the kids. Do homework on beaches before you go- Dauphin Island limits via 4 public access beaches that are $10/day. Not advertised by the house, but we walked from the down Pushmataha Ct….5 min walk and very easy.

This was a nice house and had good furnishings. Unfortunately the thermostat was a google nest and controlled by the owners. It would get extremely hot. The chocolate in the pantry was melted. The wifi was extremely slow and would not load google searches. If we could have been cool in the house and had wifi this would have been a 5 star.

Perfect layout for the entire family to be together. The house was clean and very nice. The porch and patio was our favorite “hangout”. We had a great time and will most definitely visit again, next year.

My family stayed in this home towards the end of June 2022. The home was incredibly well-maintained, comfortable, and relaxing! The beach is very easy to access with just a few minutes walk (~3-5 minutes). The unit has an elevator, and that was helpful for some of my family members with mobility issues. Overall, we loved the place!

Easy walk across the street and down to the beach. Just long enough for the sand to come off our feet on the way home. Lots of space in the house. Well appointed kitchen (really!!). The back yard is fenced for dogs if you bring them. (but you have to walk your dog down the stairs in the front of the house and around to the back to get to fenced in area.) I would absolutely go back and rent again if our travels take us to this area. The house was clean. Everything worked. The house is set up great for a family to come and everyone had room to relax. PS, the Kamado grill is fantastic!

I rented this house for a girls weekend with my 2 sisters and 80 year old mom. This home was clean, beautifully decorated with a well appointed kitchen. In addition, the elevator was a huge plus for getting our luggage, groceries & Mom up to the main floor & down to the car. We had such a good time, we hope to make this an annual trip!

We just loved staying in this beautiful home. There were water views from both patios. We sat on the front porch and watched sunrises and sunsets. The house is well appointed and comfortable. We even had HBO to watch which is rare these days. Thanks for allowing us to share your home.

We do family vacation regularly. We have always picked a house for our family. This was my first time using Vasaca. The house was amazing and I will be booking with them in the future. I’ve never had a house that made you feel as if it were your home. We all had our private space and the beds were so comfortable. That is one thing I always complain about because I never like any bed but mine so I was shocked when I was able to sleep on the bed. This house we had was way over a 10 for me.

Love the costal colors in the home, the front and back porch were a great spot to relax any time of day. The beach was extremely close. Our family loved cooking dinner together and relaxing in the family room at the end of the night. House was well kept! Sad vacation was over.

We loved the stay so much and will book this spot again. The only thing all of us complained about was how hard the beds was. Other than that it was perfect. I love how it had easy access to the beach and the sunsets was amazing. Everyone and everything is very laid back. None of us was ready to come back home.
