We loved this place. We've stayed at a number of diamond beach condos and this is by far the nicest. No real issues.
Pros:
Lovy setup. Nice furniture. Well stocked kitchen. Everything was super clean and wonderful. Large spaces. Huge shower. Massive outdoor deck. Great place for a family to have a wonderful time.
Cons: The towels are a bit rough (like super cheap gym towels), there is a slight scent of curry or spices in the apt, and the washing machine is loud and sounds like it needs help. But otherwise those are the very little things that were not perfect .
The beds were comfortable. The twin room has a trundle bed my kids loved. The floors were clean. Great view. Wonderful stay.
Diamond beach has closed their waterslide due to maintenance and that was a bummer. Looks like it hasn't been functional for years. Otherwise it was all perfect.

My 12 y/o daughter and I stayed a week in advance of me having surgery for breast cancer. We needed to get away and enjoy the ocean and this was just the place. The balcony was the best - great view and seating for coffee or eating. The kitchen was well stocked, and everything was comfortable and spacious. We will definitely stay here again to celebrate when I finish treatment!

Our family loved this condo! The views are amazing! We loved the pool and the lazy river!! This resort has incredible amenities for kids! The only negative was there weren’t any towels for the pool/beach so we just had to air dry. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful vacation and the ammenities did not dissapoint. The only negative, and it is small, is that the listing stated a water slide, swim up bar, and beach towels provided. The water slide is closed and in disrepair and the swim up bar in no longer operating. Also there are no beach towels, so we had to go purchase some. But, we are coming back next year for sure!

Seaside shimmer is a beautiful vacation condo with fully furnished kitchen. I loved the large comfortable patio with views of the ocean and the gorgeous pool. It was the relaxing atmosphere that I needed.

We enjoyed the property and the condo was nicely furnished. Only drawback was the temperature when we arrived was set at 78 degrees and it took awhile for the temp to come down. The master bath was very nice but our shower ran out of hot water in the evening. My wife couldn't use the shower Sunday morning either. The water never got hot.

Beautiful condo and the resort is absolutely amazing!! We have stayed at this resort numerous times and it’s our favorite place to go. I would definitely recommend this condo

Diamond Beach is a 12 year old property that is wonderful, having a terrific lazy River and huge outdoor pool with 4 levels. It is also right next to the beach. An indoor theater, game room and pool are also available. Each unit has amazing views but is owned and managed separately. Front desk is very helpful. 306 was not cleaned at check in time. Cleaning crew was called and we vacated the unit for 2 hours, eating our dinner we brought quite late. NO kitchen cooking basics are there like salt and pepper,,oil, coffee, tea, sugar, or flour. Some linens and towels are quite worn. Beach towels provided. Unit was very quiet and cool. Beds comfortable

Perfect getaway spot
Our family's stay was just what we had hoped for. The condo is, if anything, even better than pictured, and the compound is impeccably maintained. We lucked out and had unseasonably warm weather for our stay, which allowed us to enjoy the lazy river and outdoor pool and hot tubs every day during our visit. The balcony was perfect for reading and sharing meals or just watching the waves. The kitchen was generously equipped with high-quality appliances, cookware, and tools. We brought our own games and reading materials, but there was a wide selection that would suit most tastes/interests had we come empty-handed. We hope to go back some day. A wonderful place!

Last minute Christmas miracle !
This unit was overall very clean and provides enough space for a intimate family gathering. It has all the comforts of home. The only thing is that when we arrived the patio furniture was still in the living room so we had to move everting outside to be able to use the living room kitchen area. We took the upside and thought of it as a positive that said great we can arrange how we want it on the patio. It’s probably because we booked the property so last minute. The check in was easy. The front desk gentleman was very polite and helpful. Checkout was a breeze. The views were amazing ! The master bedroom shower had some rust on the rain shower faucet that was clogged and the hard water stains so we opted not to use. No biggie but I would look into it. The patio door would lock occasionally but we were in a high rise so again no biggie. Just check into it. Overall I would say we would love to stay here again. My family loved it and it was all that we imagined and then some. We wanted to extend but was unsure of how to make that happen since were having to check out at 10am that morning. The owners of this property tastefully decorated this to make it feel like home. Hope to stay here again !

DO NOT book through VRBO. Renter will be directed to Vacasa for everything, including payment, so save the fees to VRBO! Pros: The complex has a lot of great amenities - gameroom, movie room, indoor and outdoor pools. The location is great. The condo was very clean. Cons: For the price, I was expecting more from the condo. The beds are very squeaky and the sheets are worn. The living room throw pillows are stained. Things missing or broken, such as a towel rack and hook, and a broken toilet paper dispenser and kitchen sink garbage disposal. It is not beachfront as stated. It is waterfront, but there is no beach in front. There is beach next door, but not a good beach access point. If you are just walking on the beach or have minimal gear, it is fine; but if you are lugging kids and beach gear, not so easy.

Unit is nice- good location. Beautiful complex. The furnishings are nice and the unit is well stocked. It’s not a great layout for a family because there’s no indoor table to eat on and the furniture only supports 2-3 people watching tv but if you’re mostly out and about it’s functional and kitchen is well stocked. Could stand new mattresses but overall things were modern and worked well. Complex has a lot of great amenities- only issue we ran across was that several games in game room are in bad relaid and not working correctly. All that said- I would never book this again. The rental company is awful! We were given a different unit than was pictured on the booking site. I had intentionally not chosen this unit because it was Thanksgiving and we needed a table and full size beds. I had seen this unit on another site cheaper than the one I booked but chose to pay more given the setup and amenities of the other unit. When I got to the property I pointed out the mistake. I get that mixups happen and it was likely too late for them to fix it so we were ok just staying there - I raised the issue to Vacasa and asked them to remedy the price difference. Not only did they not do that- I got an email back blaming booking.com and saying that they post inaccurate pictures and then just give people what’s available. Clearly Vacasa is responsible for their own postings and sets the prices- someone has to give booking.com the info and pictures- so what they were really saying is that they misrepresented the unit and charged me more intentionally and now they won’t fix it. Terrible rental company! Book at Diamond Beach but never a unit managed by Vacasa.

A short was left behind the couch from a previous person. Underwear was left in the dryer from a previous person. The sliding door lock was broken and presented a concern because we have toddler age children. The bed mattress were a little too hard.
