My experience with the property manager, and using the property was very mixed. Some of it was good, and some of it was not great, and they were hassles. My French is not very good and most people in French Guiana do not end or will not speak English. Cleanliness is subpar in general in French Guiana. If you are looking for American style, coffee and cream, forget about it. I had problems with the air conditioner and the washing machine and dryer. There were a lot of mosquitoes, so having a working air conditioner was really essential and that became a real problem at one point, requiring the property manager to come to the accommodation, and she was not pleased about it . Overall everything in French Guiana is over priced. That said, this particular property was probably pretty good value compared to other properties. It was very nice and quiet and Parking was great. The swimming pool is nice but it’s quite far from this apartment. The neighbourhood is not walkable. You must have a car. That is actually the case for all of French Guiana. A good reliable vehicle is essential.

The bathroom is very small, especially the shower. Hot water is never actually hot in French Guiana. The microwave is on top of the fridge and it’s very small and inconvenient. There were cleanliness issues in the kitchen.
