Great place, large rooms with all you need. Ample parking place. Breakfast was also very good and included in the price. Coffee/tea available during day too for free. Very close to lake with all main nature landmarks

The dogs owned by staff at the guesthouse were very cute and friendly. We did appreciate a little bit of dog interaction during our stay. Although they weren't overbearing in case you don't like dogs. Everything went as expected, the lodgings were very nice and clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was good. I liked the hotel staff's welcoming demeanor after we found this last minute option after being stuck in a snowstorm. They even heated up our packed food, served rice. The customized dinner serving was amazing.

Amazing retro experience with tv and radio from the eighties, I was just missing VHS player in my room.

When I booked I asked for double beds, but when I arrived they gave us two single beds. But overall it was a great stay!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and helped us out with everything we needed. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is passing by.

We loved the large room/apartment with seating area - really enjoyed the space to organise our luggage :) Friendly staff and good breakfast included. Right in front of our room (5) was the hot tube (free of charge)

Personal is so kind! The room was so comfortable! Breakfast and menu dinner were good too.

Spacious common area with free coffee & tea where the wifi was working well. Large choice at the breakfast buffet. Dinner available at the guesthouse. The fish was delicious.

Diningroom was only place to eat for miles. Dinner was the poorest meal (value for money) in 10 days and breakfast very average as well. What looked nice on Booking.com seemed futzy and worn.

Lovely hotel with great costumer service. The room was big and the decor was super charming. In the evenings we sat at one of the salons with a cup of tea and was so relaxing. They also have a hot tub outside.

Heating worked well.

Room was small, fixtures were of age, bathroom not modern, lots of old fashioned items such as lace tablecovers, and ornaments taking up space.

Conveniently located when traveling North. Kind staff, great breakfast and comfortable room. Nice tea and coffee available. Fun decor, books and other Icelandic info. Hot tub outside but we didn’t stay long enough to use it. Friendly dog on property!

It was all good! We unfortunately missed the laundry cut off time (5pm).

Clean room.

Very low internet speed, no phone signal I can’t even call anyone from my room and I lived in Iceland. Breakfast was average and dinner was only on offer between 7pm-8pm (only 1hr lol) If you come early or late you will not be serve. Lot of flies all around the hotel. Definitely over price.
