And speaking of exploring, this locale is right in the heart of the city, with many of the must-see sights a short stroll away. Ritzy Salamanca is ideal for high-end shopping and fine dining (stroll down the Golden Mile or grab a bite at Platea food court, five minutes away), while leafy Parque del Retiro is an excellent spot to bask in the morning sunshine. Museums, restaurants and monuments are all within walking distance, but if your feet need a break, hop on the metro – both Colón and Recoletos stations are right around the corner.
