Wygodny hotel z rewelacyjna obsluga w przystepnej cenie. Pyszne sniadania, wygodne lozka, blisko do wyciagow Idre fjälet, skad mozna szusowac na super przygotowanych stokach.
Duzy plus za gorfy i napoje w godz. 14-20, (swietny pomysl).!
Super sauna.
Dziekujemy i na pewno wrocimy :)

Det er nu 3. gang vi besøger sportshotellet i Idre; de sidste 2 gange hos nuværende ejere.
Det kan siges kort - Det er et vidunderligt sted! Hele vejen igennem!
Fantastiske ejere som kun er med til at fuldende det hele. Så smagfuldt og samtidig så hjemligt og afslappet. Vidunderlig morgenmad, men virkelig også dejligt at kunne bestille et varmt måltid til når man er retur fra natur. Der er dog også køkken med alverdens faciliteter så man kan vælge selv at kokkerere. Underholdning for børn og barnlige sjæle med film-stue, bordtennis, diverse brætspil, sauna og 'bål-hytte'. Varme vafler når man kommer nedkølet hjem fra ski eller fra kælketur.
Vi kommer igen næste vinter og hvis mulighed for det bliver vi også nødt til at opleve foråret.

Nice cosy hotel with a terrace. Nice modern bedroom. Very friendly owners, they gave us very good hiking tips. Lots of facilities: lounge with tv, kitchen for guests, sauna, playroom, drying room and shoe dryer, 24hours free coffee and cookies, in the afternoon free fresh waffles, tea and juices.
Simple breakfast but ok, small bathroom and maybe shower curtain has to be replaced. Info guide (of the area) was only in Swedish (put an English one too).

Maria and Mikael were so nice. The place has all we needed. There is an equipped kitchen and a private sauna. Breakfast is good, gluten free buns available. We will return

We really liked the private sauna and the owners of the hotelletje are really welcoming. Also great WiFi and many places to relax. Location is also perfect for hiking.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and we had an amazing stay during the 3 nights we were there.
Facilities and rooms were very clean and had a nice cozy feeling to them.
The breakfast was great!
The rooms had some thin walls and at times you could hear the neighbours through the walls.

Great place and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. The two saunas in the basement had the standard of a five star hotel.

We felt at home from arrival to departure. You can reserve one of the saunas for an hour or longer and enjoy the heat after a long day in the ski slope. The skibus leaves next to the hotel.

We spent the days over the New Year at Sporthotellet and had an absolutely amazing time. Mikael and his wife, who run the hotel, were incredibly friendly and helpful and are doing a fantastic job running the place and ensuring their guests have a faboulous stay. We did not have a car and Mikael gave us rides and picked us up several times (despite being super busy). It felt almost like we were staying with friends. Strongly recommended

The hosts are very welcoming & helpful and had a lot of contact with their guests withoug being intrusive. Upon arrival, we were offered a bottle of water and chocolate on our room. There is also a kitchen and dining room to prepare your own food (ICA and Coop shops are nearby). You can help yourself to coffee and/or cookies or buy some beer that you can consume in the lounge.
Breakfast compares to most hotels we visited in Sweden, good but not spectacular.
The breakfast, lounge and self-sevice dining area have a nice wooden interior, our room was nicely decorated. There was a relaxed, hiker-friendly atmosphere. We felt at home.
There are great walks at Grövelsjön, Nipfjället & Njupeskär falls (Jaktfalksleden, over the top of the falls)

We had a great stay here. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of information on walking in the area. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the restaurants in Idre were a short walk away. Grövelsjön is a short drive away, with great walking (recommend the boat to Norway and walking back), but there are other equally great areas to visit as well. Loved being able to fill our flasks with coffee at breakfast too, a very nice touch.
We should have stayed more days - there is a lot to see in the area,

This was more than just a hotel or a place to spend a night. They had thought of everything. It was so comfortable, practical, and homey. With bowls of cookies and coffee, chocolate, and water - we felt welcomed, and we want to come back for our next visit to Sweden. The service was personal and sincere. We got good hints about local hiking trails. It is a good place for more extended stays also, as there are several indoor feel-good areas - it feels like home, and you are treated as a family friend, not just a random bypasser. The toilet is not in your room, but everything else was so comfortable that this did not matter! The bathroom itself was nice and practical, with everything you needed at hand.

Good place for short stay and hiking nearby. Complete kitchen, fridge and freezer in the basement free to use, makes lives easy after outdoor activities. Lovely terras outside.

Very nice place - we stayed for 1 night as we were just going through, but loved our stay in Idre - personal was very friendly - suggested the best place to eat and the near mountains we should visit
