We thought the hot tub was dirty but after asking the hosts we were told it was just from the spring. Maybe a note on this could be left

Just what the doctor ordered

Brilliant location, out of the way but also just a short walk to the pub.

Felt a little bit over looked by the neighbouring cottage but it wasn’t a problem

Perfect holiday cottage, wished we were staying for longer.

The hot-tub, the view, the paddock for the dog. The kids loved the swings down by the pond and the small zip wire. The cottage on the whole is a great little haven in a beautiful location.

The TV was a little small for the living room and it wouldn’t connect to the WIFI so couldn’t use it as a Smart TV. We only used it in the evening once the kids were in bed, so it is a very small point. Otherwise, the cottage is superb and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Overall the cottage was very good and we had a lovely stay.

cleanliness, lovely rural situation of the cottage with good walks from the property, private, hot tub was lovely and warm and clean, nice decor in the cottage, Host was very welcoming.

Pond cottage really is a retreat in itself. The surroundings are stunning. The cottage was scrupulously clean and cosy with everything you could need. Beds were super comfy and we only wish we had booked longer! Pilates on the decking in the sunshine was my highlight!

Perfect cosy cottage

We loved the wood burner, hot tub and location and that the cottage is dog friendly. Everything was lovely.

Single beds could be a bit more comfortable and the hot tub a couple of degrees hotter.

Lovely view and the hot tub is a nice addition.

I didn't like being quoted at time of booking, in writing, £20 for an additional dog then being told a week before we arrive it's actually £25 per dog! Added expense that we had no choice but to pay. The cottage was clean apart from lots of cobwebs on the ceilings. The garden was not secure for our two cockapoos, straight over the wall so we had to keep them on their leads when outside. Didn't see the host at any point.

Not 5 star on this occasion, such a shame.

The cottage was beautiful. Furnished to a high standard, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Easy to find and access. The area is lovely with a nice pub only a short walk away. We only booked for 2 nights as a stopover, but you could easily stay for longer.

I'm sure it was a one off but unfortunately there was a noisy party in the garden of the adjoining cottage on the night of the 23rd, which started at midnight and continued for several hours. It kept 3 of the 4 of us awake. Not what we wanted or needed from our peaceful stop over.

A perfect place for a break away from crazy reality.

The location is just amazing! Our second visit and we will definitely be returning again. Never had any issues, hosts are always pleasant when you see them. Cottage is lovely and cosy perfect for a short break away for us as a family with young children.

The view is lovely. The cottage was well equipped and really comfortable.

The hot tub next door and noisy neighbours. One of the nights being quite loud until 11pm. I could hear it in bed, spoilt my peaceful much needed weekend. This would potentially put me off booking again sadly as it was a beautiful location in a very peaceful location.

beautiful location, lovely walk into the village. The cottage is perfect for a family or couple, lovely and cosy, clean and very well equipped. lovely outdoor area for morning coffee and evenings.

Perfect rural retreat

Comfortable and cosy, with everything thought of. Private, with stunning rural views. So peaceful. Well equipped. Enclosed safe garden for the dogs. Perfect location for exploring countryside and coast.

The owner could perhaps consider putting in/ giving access to a landline. I couldn't get any phone signal at all, so couldn't have called anyone in an emergency

Excellent 2 night stay to treat my Partner on her Birthday

Very quite and peaceful location with excellent countryside all around, location ideal for taking in the north Yorkshire Moors. Strongly recommend this comfortable cottage for a base to explore

With a log burner in the cottage and only a small amount of logs provided is the only critisium
