Mediocre Habitación 😒

1. La ubicación cerca a la Embajada USA. 2. La zona tranquila. 3. Alojamiento limpio.

Primero, el Alojamiento me aplicó un tipo de cambio de moneda más alto de lo establecido por Booking y pagué más de lo que se fijó al hacer la reserva (ya hice el reclamo). Segundo, la habitación que nos asignaron no fue placentera ni a gusto y no cumplió con las expectativas que yo tenía por estar en uno de los distritos/zona más exclusivos de Lima. HABITACION; mal ubicada (primer piso) en área de recepción donde se escuchá todo, conversaciones, llamadas, pisadas, etc. La ventana da al área de comedor, por lo que no se puede abrir para ventilar el cuarto por falta de privacidad. Desagradable y fuerte olor a humedad, a vejez y falta de ventilación. Muebles, cama, almohadas, colchón, ropa de cama, una colcha fea y vieja, todo de baja calidad y ya muy usados, antiguos. El Ropero! No se puede usar, está bloqueado y por una puertita pude ver que hay muchas cajas, sillas, envolturas ahí apiladas. 2. BAÑO; mediocre, Espejo pequeño y oxidado por el tiempo. El caño del lavadero con poca o nada presión de agua! Sólo sale un hilo de agua. Acabados inconclusos o averiados. Para ducharse, una ducha de mano solamente. Me mostraron otra habitación y peor sin ventana ni iluminación natural, solo una abertura rectangular estrecha arriba de una una pared (???) 3. DESAYUNO; Continental muy pobre y el jugo más agua que fruta. NO hay relación COSTO/SERVICIO

The location was the best and the area for breakfast was nice. Lots of comfy couches.

I booked a room of garden view, but the room's window upstairsdosnt necessarily have a view, the window just faced that direction. The pictures of the facility oceram was not as nice in person.

Perfect place to stay near US consulate

Location was just steps away from US Embassy. The owner was kind and helpful. Great restaurants and shops nearby. Part of town felt quite safe.

I would stay here again. The hotel is in a safe and quiet location.

Breakfast was included. However, you only got a little pack of butter (the ones they give you on the plain flying economy :) with two buns of bread and a cup coffee. This could be improved but I still enjoyed it. The people that run the place are kind and helpful. We watched a football game together and they offered me a glass of wine.

My room received too much light from the street through the curtains. I asked to have it changed and it was changed right away. The new room was better in terms of the light. However, the walls in the new room required some minor maintenance and the bathroom also didn't match up the first one.

Stay for the proximity to the U.S. Embassy, not for much else.

The location is ideal for a 7am appointment at the U.S. Embassy, and this is the main reason to stay here. Since that was the purpose, it served the purpose well.

Upon paying, the man at the front desk asked if I wanted to pay in Dollars or Soles. I had cards in both, so I asked which one was better, but he didn't really answer that, so I said Dollars. Then, for an unknown reason, he billed my card in Soles. I noticed it was in Soles and asked him about that, but he assured me many times that it was no problem. It turned out to result in an exchange by the bank at a bad rate, which resulted in about a 7% extra cost to me which was pointless. Why ask if someone wants to pay in Dollars or Soles if you're going to charge Soles if they say Dollars? Also, there was a cockroach in the room, which wasn't so pleasant.
