Que el lujo está en su ubicación, un paraíso de los que ya no hay, casi intacto, con un gran arrecife de coral en la parte derecha de la bahía, rodeado de selva, con ola ton luminiscente por noche q se ve desde la orilla. También tiene n restaurante y zona de estar con unas vistas excepcionales y una cocina camboyana y tailandesa increíble (de las mejores que he probado en mi viaje por Camboya) Has de tener en cuenta que estarás en una La cabaña totalmente de madera y muy austera, que no hay servicio diario de limpieza de habitaciones, dependiendo de los días q estes te la limpiaran (creo q cada 3 días) por lo q si no estas acostumbrado a moverte por la naturaleza, a convivir con insectos y a que el lujo esté en el lugar y no en el alojamiento es mejor que te quedes al otro lado de la isla in mas servicios, si te vienes aquí es para fundirte con el entorno, bajar las revoluciones y vivir una experiencia local maravillosa l

Lovely Beach, hardly anyone around…friendly staff
The wooden huts are really basic and in our opinion very overpriced for the facilities. We paid £50 when really they are only worth £25 in comparison to other accommodations in SE Asia and the area.. that is for room only , no house keeping , no water in room, no breakfast , no air con. . They are also open to the elements so you will get bitten by mozzies (bring plenty of repellent)
The wooden cabins have no hot water , or flushing loo and the water had a funny smell also . Do not use it for cleaning teeth etc…
The main areas for eating and Lounging need a lot of TLC . The chairs were old and tired and everything felt a bit grubby and unloved. There were a lot of flies around which is a sign housekeeping is not good .. the toilets in the restaurant were badly maintained and not clean either, no loo roll or paper for drying hands … everything just felt neglected. There are a few western workers helping on the bar and the families that own it appeared to be living and using it for eating in the public lounge area. They were sleeping on the sofas etc … not a good look. They have young children (2 or 3) screaming and crying and running around constantly so it’s not over relaxing either. Such a shame with a few tweaks and some money spent this place could be amazing . They are also building more bungalows which look nicer but this was a little noisy which they don’t advise when booking. I wouldn’t stay again based on the above . The whole of that side of the island is going to have mass development soon as they have laid foundations for a massive road. They seem to get lots of day time visitors to the restaurant but I think they should focus on upgrading the accommodation and facilities rather than let everything run into the ground. They are clearly making a lot of money for Cambodia but they are clearly not investing on the property.

Simple, our cabin was right on the beach. Quiet, gorgeous views, swimming, excellent food in the restaurant . Staff were wonderful, helpful but low key. They were tolerant of kids and the Cambodian staff had their own. Boat would take you anywhere you wanted.
Nothing, but some travellers would find it too rustic. No air con, road across the island was terrible. Low water pressure. We didn’t mind this and thought it was a perfect low tech oasis, but not for those who are fussy.

This beach and the rustic charm of the bungalows, added to the phenomenal staff who are always so friendly and happy to help. This is what makes Lazy beach so special. Thank you to the incredible staff for making our trip so special.
This is my fourth time here. I really knew what to expect- the bungalows are comfortable and spacious. They have a rustic charm so if you are looking for modern and Aircon this is not the place for you.

The property is beautiful. Awesome remote beach; remote location is fantastic; great food. ;Sunsets are amazing; staff is very friendly. This is the last remote beach getaway. It is a beautiful place lost in time.
It is a world travelers paradise, This backpackers travel stop. I don’t have complaints but I do think soft unprepared travelers should wake-up to a simple life before they check the box if you are someone who is a 5 star hotel traveler and Edd cushy beds and remote controls etc you are going to be challenged. The rooms are ambient. You have a Geckos in the room to eat insects. Cambodia is hot and humid, the air cools down at night but.it is nothing like air conditioning. Wi-Fi is only at the open air restaurant lounge area. Cell is zero to 2bars. You are not there to extend your connected life and rat race. Your are there to escape .

Nádherná pozvolná písčitá pláž, vlny tak akorát, téměř žádní lidé, soukromí. Restaurace hezká.
Okolí chatek by mohlo být více uklizené, v restauraci to často smrdělo buď mokrými polštáři nebo psy 🤷♀️ několikrát netekla vůbec voda (několik hodin) a elektřina šla také jen někdy, což chápeme, ze se může stát, ale personál ani neměl snahu se omluvit za komplikace, jen nám bylo oznámeno, že jsme na ostrově a že je to normální. Polovina personálu na jedničku, polovina příšerná. V okolí hotelu opravdu vůbec nic není, člověk je odkázaný pouze na hotelovou restauraci.

C'est la vraie plage paradisiaque avec tout ce qu'on peut en imaginer !
La seule plage vraiment propre de l'île, peu fréquentée, les bungalow sont confortables, le personnel adorable et le restaurant excellent !
Franchement c'est le meilleur de tous les spots !
Il y a de nouveaux bungalows en construction et les travaux commençaient à 7h30,le réveil piquait un peu

Bungalows right by a stunning beach, you don’t really see your neighbors. The fans are inside the mosquito nets. Super safe location, not many people. They have table tennis, pétanque, and a beach volleyball net, and a few games to play.
Toilets are super low.

lazy beach’s location is spectacular, a hidden paradise gem (for now). we stayed in rustic bungalows right on the beach, view and continuous sound of the sea far outweighed the few bugs & ghekos in our hut…we enjoyed being completely surrounded by nature, and all staff were super friendly, couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. food was delicious too. it nearly rated 10, but because of rubbish on the site and beach, as well as cash payment only I have given 9. but definitely would love to come back!

This place is an absolute gem. I almost stayed elsewhere on Saracen bay and am SO GLAD that I changed to Lazy Beach. It's very private over on Lazy Beach and chill, much cleaner and doesn't smell like burning plastic and gas. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the accomodations are very primitive but lovely. I stayed with three kids and after a month of traveling is SEA, this is our favourite spot. I cried when we left. Snorkeling right on either end of the beach, great food, everything here is amazing.

Stunning location, gorgeous beach with warm, clear water. Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious and well priced food and drink. 24 h electricity, free WiFi in restaurant. Staff arranged pick up and drop off at Saracen Bay for us. Large, airy room with sitting area, hammocks on attached porch/ balcony, good ( cold) shower and ensuite. Absolute beach front. Quiet and super relaxing- not a party place at all. Can't fault this gorgeous place!
As expected there are some big lizards and spiders around that want to share the beach hut, but nothing scarier than that during our stay! Signs warn not to bring food to your room if you don't want pests, which is sensible advice. (Can be stored at reception).

Hammocks on your private balcony. Beachfront location is unbeatable, staff are friendly and accommodating. Restaurant had delicious food with a wide variety of options to choose from and a tractor transporting bags and guests across the island is helpful/necessary in the heat with heavy luggage.
Fine to relax here for a day or two, however if you are after any activities/boat trips or a livelier scene, there's more going on in Saracen bay where fast ferries drop you, a 20 min walk away.
No issue with basic rooms, however would have preferred beach huts with some reinforcements to deter outside pests from entering (fly screens, wire meshing in bathroom roof or under exposed flooring, to create some barrier to entering hut). We ended up cutting our stay short after a few persistent visitors frequented us in the night.
Only fans for cooling and would have liked to sleep with windows open, however the wildlife situation prevented us from doing so.

Bungalow 5, probably the closest to the beach/water, amazing view, sound, breeze, just so dreamy, secluded, quiet, beautiful!!! Bar/restaurant facilities also very relaxing, lively, friendly. Good food, nice hosts, chill vibe, don't want to leave...
That we didn't stay one more night, but instead went to the other side of the island, more fun, music, young people, still Lazy Beach is unbeatable in a sense of being on a deserted island, it brings you back in the days that will never ever return...

Price and comfort in no relationship! It is complete unrelated!! The houses are very old, dirty, not maintained and broken. The Bathroom is horrible - The Toilet flashing have to be done by hand. We
were disgusted to lay in the bed. we tried to sleep outside and we leave the accommodation earlier !
It smelled partly of mold / dust. In the restaurant the furniture is broken. We paid for the apartment and the food etc for 2 persons (normal holiday behavior ) 250 dollar ! We can’t understand the recommendations in Booking - we lost 2 days of our holiday!

I loved our stay on Lazybeach. It really is a unique stay and by far the best beach i have ever been to. The rooms are well designed wood huts. The restaurant was incredibly well stocked with western and local fold i could not believe the quality considering where we was. We stayed in an expensive resort on Koh Rong after this and it was not even close i spent the whole time missing Lazybeach!

Lazy Beach is a 1 mi walk from the ferry drop off on the east side of island. The east side of the island is full of hostels and resorts and is built up quite a bit. We saw a good number of people from the east side making that walk to the west side because the beach there is much nicer, secluded, and doesn't have a lot of people. The location is absolutely worth it. And the place is awesome. A fantastic covered, very large area to hang out whether you want to be social or secluded, both work. The staff were great, the food excellent, and the beach houses were simple yet felt luxurious. Also if they know that you're coming, they will send a tractor to pick you up from the dock, though other west side places such as sunset Beach is unable to pick you up because the walk entails descending a beautiful but very steep and narrow rocky trail that can only be walked with a backpack and definitely not carrying a suitcase.
We visited in March, 2023 during which time there was an extensive amount of work done throughout the island establishing very wide roads as there is apparently an extensive amount of development happening on the island. It looks as though a huge amount of money is being put into developing the island by outside investment which could severely threaten the backpacker, cool, and remote vibe that seems to attract so many people to the island. If this happens, I think it'll be a really big loss.
All this is to say, get too lazy beach as fast as you can before it could change in the next few years.

This was just what I needed for a relaxing several days. The welcome is very warm. The bungalows are simple but very comfortable, with nice touches such as fans inside the mosquito nets and a heavy lock box for valuables. The food was always delicious and the beer always cold. The sea is great for swimming in and the beach is cleaned. The walking on the island was much more extensive than I expected and there is coral and tropical fish at the end of the beach, with snorkelling equipment available for a very small charge. This is the only open accommodation / restaurant on the beach, which makes it very chilled. Weather permitting, there are glorious sunsets.
Just be aware that their website needs updating. Their own boat doesn't operate most days, so you will almost certainly need to book a public boat and they will pick you up with a tractor/trailer. They will tell you which companies go to the right pier.
The price quoted for breakfast here is probably possible but maybe only if you want tea and toast. You order and pay for what you want and there are good options.

Everything about this place was absolutely amazing. Private cabins right on the beach, hammocks on the porch, mosquito nets around the large beds, and a little sitting area in the room. The beach is stunning. Gorgeous and clean, warm water for swimming, and even bioluminescence at night. The restaurant has a ton of variety of foods and we loved everything we ate and drank here. Super welcoming staff, and really an all around special and unique experience.

Lazy Beach is situated on a remote part of the island and you really feel like you have the whole thing to yourself. The staff are very helpful and the food is amazing! The bungalows are situated directly on the beach, which is wonderful. The housing is very basic, kind of shabby chic. Some occasional animal might wonder inside but this is what we expected when booking.🌴
It would have been nice to see more activities being organized to nurture a little more of a community feeling😊
