The property was very clean, well-appointed with modern appliances. Everything looked brand-new, and the little cabin was very inviting. Nice televisions and wifi were welcome. The property is quiet and peaceful, lovely for a get-away that really feels away from everything. The air conditioning is up to the task of South Carolina summers.

The property is entirely sand and weeds. We were constantly tracking in sand and insects (ticks were a problem). The little lake is pretty, but not accessible for use--no kayaks, canoes, etc. The town offers very little in the way of amenities. Absolutely hate having video cameras at both doors--I can't imagine anyone wants to be watched the entire time while on vacation. A large bag of trash had been left under the kitchen counter from a previous guest, giving the living area an unpleasant odor for a while. We paid $250 cleaning fee (with dog), so taking out old trash shouldn't have been an issue. The hidden fees at this property bring the daily rate up significantly.
