it wasn’t properly clean (dust on the floor as if it had been vacuumed just over a month ago) surprise 500 credit card deposit to be made a few days before with threat of canceling the reservation extremely poor online customer service ( messages via booking ) deposit made in pounds (lost money with the FX on both transactions and on the conversion. i hope you are luckier!) it took almost 1 month and several messages and complains online to recover the deposit a nightmare of a process basically…

The title "Apartment with a view of the village and the mountains" is a blatant lie. All you see from the living room is another apartment block barely 10 meters away. If you lean over on the right hand edge of the balcony you can catch a glimpse of one hill, a few houses and a fraction of a church steeple. Very misleading. Don´t count on a panoramic view of the massif du Mont-Blanc in any case. ARRIVAL: Booking literally says "upon arrival a concierge will greet you and charge your credit card with a 500 euro deposit". This is another blatant lie, there is nobody at all, let alone a concierge. So we called the number provided and a lady said she was driving "so I can't talk now, but I´ll call you back when I arrive at my home". When at last she called back, she said we had to make a bank transfer of the deposit before she would give us the codes to enter the apartment. When I told her there should have been a concierge with a credit card machine, she said that wasn´t the case and it was our problem, not hers. We spent two hours in the freezing cold in our sweaty skiing clothes trying to pay the deposit. When I sent her the proof of payment, she said that didn´t help, she needed the funds on the account (which takes 24 hours from my country of residence). In the end we had to find a friend with a local account to pay the deposit a second time to be able to enter. These people terrorize you by withholding the access codes until you adapt to their errors. STAY Do not expect hotel service. We received half a roll of toilet paper for four nights and four people. When we asked for more, they said it was our problem, we should buy it ourselves. The heater is blocked at 19 Celsius - so much for a cozy stay. DEPARTURE The cleaner tried to strong-arm us by whatsapp into leaving the apartment before the 11 oclock deadline... and then didn´t show up at all.
