The Space: This charming three-bedroom craftsman cottage is close to everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Built in 1910, this home was ordered from a Sears catalogue and arrived in kit form! Step through the hot pink front door and into the foyer adorned with the original hand-painted glass globe chandelier that was offered with all Craftsman Sears homes. The antique home has original polished hardwood floors throughout, updated bathrooms and stainless steel appliances. On the main floor there is a cozy living room with a smart TV and a large sofa and loveseat. Through the living room is a bright dining area overlooking the backyard and a great kitchen for those who want to prepare meals together at home. Off the kitchen is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and one bathroom with a tub-shower combo. At the front of the house is a lovely covered porch to sit and enjoy a cool drink. The well-manicured backyard is fully fenced in and has a large outdoor shower, grill, hammock and a shed with lots of beach essentials. For some local flavor, walk to Downtown Dennis Port, which has a great selection of local restaurants: grab some pad thai at Thai Ocha Cafe; a burger at the Red Nun; a slice of New York-style pizza at Knockout Pizza; a fried seafood plate from Original Seafood; or a grinder from Dennisport House of Pizza. We had a nice weekend at this property. The house was stylish, comfortable and very dog friendly. Love the Golden Retriever throw on the couch! Our Golden loved romping around the fenced in yard. Upstairs master bed was very comfortable. Location is walkable both to restaurants and shops and the beach. Overall a good place especially for families with dogs. :)

The cottage is darling with a welcoming porch and fully fenced yard for our Goldendoodle to run around it. The location is convenient to shops, restaurants and the sea. The first floor is comfortable (great couches) and the kitchen large and easy to work in. There are a few small enhancements that would make it even better. First, there are no instructions for how to login to the TV or use the grind/brew coffee maker. (after several attempts we caved and bought a cheap drip coffee maker) Use of the TV was confounded by 5 remotes and no idea which to use. The staff at Delmar helped with that over the phone. The lovely yard could benefit from more adult seating (there are only two Adirondack chairs) and no table for eating outside or small ones to put beside the chairs to enjoy a beverage (same for the porch). The main bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, but unfortunately no end tables. You have to sidle into the bed on one side around a very large heavy crib (perhaps this could be stored when there are no toddlers or infants staying there) and the other side has a large armoire with childrens' hangers in it. No where to place a beside clock or ability to read in bed. These are all easily correctible and would make staying there even better. Overall we had a nice time.

Our weekend stay in Dennis Port for a family wedding was made even more lovely staying in the chic, adorable 1920s house. The pictures are accurate in representing the house. It’s perfect for families or couples and with two full bathrooms we had ample space to get ready for our wedding. Kitchen is well equipped and a great space with a dining area and counter stools/ island.
This house is in walking distance of some stores, restaurants and little market. Rory’s Market and Kitchen was the perfect place to pick up coffee, organic ANYTHING, and a terrific salad or wrap or smoothie for lunch.
The only thing we struggled with was the coffee maker in the kitchen of the house. We couldn’t figure it out and it would help to have directions on the counter.
Overall, a terrific place to stay. Highly recommend. We would return!

This is our 2nd time renting this property and throughly enjoyed it again!
The house is clean and the large fenced in yard is amazing. Plenty of outdoor space for BBQ's or just sitting in the sun.
The location is fantastic as it is close to everything.
You can enjoy a 5min walk to restaurants down the street or just another few minute walk to the downtown area where there is a small grocery story and cafes.
The added bonus to this property is the fact you can bring your pets with you!
Delmar, the managing company for the property does an amazing job with communicating before, during and after your stay.

This house puts you walking distance from the beach and just a short drive from restaurants, ice cream, mini golf, and grocery stores. 40 minutes away from both Sandwich and P-Town, this is a great location to take you anywhere on the Cape, or you can just relax in this cozy home that comfortably sleeps 8!

My husband and I and our two dogs really enjoyed our stay. It’s so nicely decorated and clean! The fenced in yard is a nice bonus when traveling with dogs. Owner is super attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming house in a charming town. Property was a perfect fit for family of 6 + a dog :) The backyard was spacious and plenty of room for kids and dog to run around and play. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of things to do in Dennis Port - was walkable to the small downtown for restaurants and ice cream and shopping.

Amazing!!!
The Host, accommodations , amenities, and area were simply wonderful. The location couldn’t be more central with numerous restaurants, and the beach within walking distance. The entire property was charming, and our dogs absolutely loved the fenced in yard. The kids didn’t want to leave, and are already asking when we can go back!

Great Home, Great location
We stayed at the Chateau, July 2017. It is a very nice, well appointed home in a great location. It easily accommodated our extended family,and had a great fenced in yard for our 2 Golden Retrievers to roam around. We have rented several properties on the cape over the years, and this home certainly fits in as one of the best to date. We would consider this home again in the future. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, Carolyn and found her to be very helpful and friendly with info about things to do in the area.

Best week on the cape !
We just had a really great week at The Chateau- the only bad part was that we had to leave! Everything was handled very professionally and we had lots of good advice and tips. This is a great house in a great location and has everything you would want in a cape house. We could walk to get coffee, meals, cocktails, beaches and it was also in a great location to travel to other areas of the cape. Beautiful yard, front porch for relaxing, plenty of space for everyone to enjoy vacation. We loved riding our bikes around town and to the beach or to get muffins in the morning and cookouts in the backyard and outdoor shower! Everything was clean and well kept . We will most definitely be back again next summer and hope we have started a new family tradition!! Thank you for sharing your house with us!

This was our first experience renting on the Cape as our family has owned a home for 15 years in west Yarmouth but sold in late 2015. The home is beautifully kept and fully equipped with everything your could need. The owners were wonderful keeping in touch leading up to and throughout our stay. The location can't be beat. We would highly recommend renting le chateau.

Absolutely wonderful!
My family and I stayed at the Chateau in September 2015. We had the best vacation week. Carolyn did a great job sending emails with tons of useful information on places to visit, places to eat, sights not to miss etc. The location was perfect. Great restaurants within walking distance along with beaches and shops. House was beautifully renovated, great kitchen for cooking, although we mostly ate out as we were on vacation! We brought our dog and he had the best time. The yard was great, fully fenced in and very large. Carolyn was so attentive to our family needs, she even left out a crib for us to use for our son. Everything was perfect. There is a binder with information on each village and town along the cape with restaurants, attractions, beach locations and costs. We loved our stay at the Chateau and can't wait to return again.

We had an absolute blast - the house is beautiful and perfectly set up. The yard was even bigger than we thought, and the fence was perfect for our dog. There wasn't a single thing to improve upon - we had a great time and everyone commented on how beautiful the house was. I was amazed at how much is down that end of Dennis (we've always stayed up by Mayflower), and the book of suggestions was invaluable (as were the emails, which I referred to daily when planning our next destination). I had searched rentals for weeks trying to find the perfect place - and I have absolutely found it.

I had a great time staying at the Chateau. The description is 100% accurate in regards to the house itself and surrounding sights and things to do. Property was spotless and well stocked with the necessities. I would definitely recommed this rental to families or adults only trips, The Chateau accomodates everyone. The beaches are beautifulk and easily accessible from the Chateau.
