Lindsay’s home is a beautiful spot to spend a summer vacation. We travelled with two teens (which can be hard to please) and they loved it!
Right across from a huge park with lots to do, a short walk to stores and a hop, skip and jump to the beach, made it so they were never bored.
The finished basement with comfy couch and TV gave them their own space for downtime.
We enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon drinks on the large front deck watching all the activity of this vibrant location.
Beds were extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. Made it easy to feel at home right away.
The lake was absolutely perfect for swimming, playing fetch with our pup and kayaking. It was warm and shallow for what felt like miles. The beach is extremely well cared for daily making this a perfect cottage stay.
Note for those travelling with dogs: the back yard is not completely fenced in with an opening from the driveway into the yard but this didn’t impact our stay.
We would definitely stay again and this treasured home!

Pros-we liked staying close to the water and near the park. We were able to bring our dog. Cons-House had a strong odor. Lock on the door was difficult to use. Alarm went off. TV only works if you have your own account.

The property was right across from the park with a splashpad for the kids and a short walk from the beach. The house and hot tub are very clean and the backyard perfect for a couple of crazy toddlers.

The house was great, the Vrbo web portal less so.
Good news first -- absolutely accurate online description/pics, lovely place, exactly what we wanted and well maintained/run.
Our issue was with the Vrbo website, which repeatedly did not work for the final payment.

Property is in a great location on Lake Erie. Waking up in the morning to relax on the deck and see the lake was wonderful. The hot tub was an added bonus. The house is charming and clean. The spacious and comfortable basement is a great added space.

What a great place.
Excellent location across from Seacliff Park, offering plenty to do and see. The house is fully updated and self contained with lots of restaurants available it’s a short drive to go out or make use of the fully equipped kitchen and stay in.
Two big screen TVs and wifi meant no issues finding something to watch.
We’ll definitely come and stay again.

Stunning location

The location can't be beat. Right across from a park and the beach. It was nice that the bedrooms were all upstairs, so after putting the kids to bed we could watch TV downstairs and not keep them up. Would be nice to have black out curtains to block the street lights.

Enjoyed a nice quiet stay. Location was great being right across the street from a park with swings, beach access, and a free small water park for kids. Also there was a concert played Saturday night at the amphitheater.

Great location for the grandchildren with a splash pad and park across the street along with the beach. Beach water was warm and shallow with nice sandy bottom. Only issues we had, which were minor, not enough tabs for the dishwasher and only a charcoal bbq - pictures showed a propane bbq also. The listing just noted a bbq.

We had such a wonderful stay here! You can see Lake Erie from the front porch and it's an easy walk down to a very sandy beach. The beach is great for swimming and little ones because it's shallow and has a long sandbar. The park across the street has a splash pad and a playground, so we were rarely left the neighborhood. The hot tub is legit big. And we made use of it whenever the weather broke. You are also right next to a really nice restaurant, 13 at the inn, point pelee, and the ferry to pearlie island. We did all of it! And had the best time. Will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 19 nights and it was a wonderful spot - great communication with owners and the place was new & clean.
Well appointed and comfortable beds with ample room for people to spread out. Kitchen was well appointed with the basics all there to cook a dinner. Nice location across from park.
Hot tub clean and chemicals balanced. Laundry and the pet friendly aspect makes it a lovely place to stay.Homeowners made sure to communicate when they would be cutting grass and if we needed anything - super responsive and a pleasure to deal with.
More bath towels on site would be the only small comment since the hot tub & showers take more towels daily.
The only downside / icky feeling is neighbours who share a drive are a bit unfriendly and immediately were upset when we drove on their side of the mutual driveway one day in the entire 19 days we were staying there and we had two vehicles on site. We didn’t park over the lines, didnt block, didn’t disrupt or anything but simply drove on their part of the mutual drive. It seemed they wanted to “watch” via their cameras to report and it wasn’t a nice feeling when you’re on vacation.
HOWEVER, this is NOT the owners fault and no reflection of the property just a reality of an honest review. Out of 19 nights, only 3 nights was there more than one person at the cottage however it was the perfect family cottage and super comfortable when two kids and another adult was onsite.
Would definitely recommend and would book again!
