Summary: The ideal blend of Creole architecture and contemporary design, our lovingly restored mansion sits in the heart of the historic Marigny/Bywater neighborhood -- a stones throw from the French Quarter. An award-winning 19th century masterpiece, the home pays homage to southern antebellum architecture finished with first-class modern comforts and amenities. The Space: - There is one bedroom in the home that contains 1 daybed and 1 trundle. This bedroom is a converted library and functions as a "walk-through" bedroom. The Trundle is listed as a "Sofa Bed" in the "Where You'll Sleep" section. - 20' galley Chef's kitchen with double ovens, gas stoves, and ample marble counter space and an abundance of cabinets; equipped with extensive cookware. - 12' ceilings, re-finished heart of pine hardwood floors, 120-year old restored crown moldings, original 19th century doors. - The fifth bedroom is a walk-through bedroom that includes double doors to enclose the space. -This home features an additional living space that features a kitchenette and sleeping area. - High speed internet, central air conditioning/heat, and more amenities available - Accessibility: The entire home is on a single level. There are 3 steps to get up from the street level into the actual home. One of the showers has wall-mounted handlebars. - All beds feature Tempurpedic-quality mattresses and silky, high thread count linens. - All bathrooms are immaculate and include essential toiletries and stacks of plush cotton towels. Guest Access: The entire home is for your exclusive use. Please note the owner of the home lives in the back unit and may be seen coming and going, but will never intrude upon your privacy. Please also note that this home is a long term rental with a 30 night minimum. Unfortunately this home is not wheelchair accessible. The Neighborhood: The Bywater neighborhood is known for its food as well as Southern hospitality. This hip, yet quiet neighborhood is the kind of place where neighbors say hello to one another and gather together to watch the Mardi Gras parades each year. The Crescent Park Trail is close by, which runs parallel to the Mississippi, and offers a great place to walk or run in the morning. With its close proximity to the French Quarter and no shortage of things to do right around our home, this is the perfect location to soak up everything Nola has to offer. All guests after booking will receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities. We will provide detailed information and guides on the surrounding area to enhance your overall experience. Getting Around: New Orleans is a compact city, which makes getting around a breeze in an Uber or Lyft. The French Quarter is an 8-10 minute drive away, which will never run you more than $10 (which is even more affordable when you split it with your group!). Biking is a convenient option as there are plenty of rental shops nearby. This is a walkable neighborhood -- take a stroll along gorgeous Crescent Park on your way to the French Quarter. Other Things to Note: *IMPORTANT DISCLAIMERS*   -We have a minimum age requirement for booking this rental. Reservation holder must be 21 years or older. -We request that guests complete a guest verification process and sign an additional agreement prior to receiving any check-in information.  -We require that guests provide a valid credit card and piece of ID for identification purposes only.   -We do not accept peer-to-peer payment systems or any prepaid debit cards as methods of payment.  -Pets are not allowed at this property.  -Mailing packages to the premises is not permitted. -We use Arlo and Noise Aware in our homes. Arlo is a video recording system that has been installed at the front/back doors of the home’s EXTERIOR ONLY, for your safety. NoiseAware is a decibel monitoring system that we use to keep in accordance with local noise regulations. Permit Number: 23-ISTR-02384 Interaction with Guests: You will have complete privacy here, however every question or concern you may have before or during your stay will be promptly addressed via messenger or phone. In the case of a maintenance emergency, our ground team is available to assist you. Entry is keyless, there’s no need to coordinate key pick up.

This is a great place for a girls trip. Very roomy and large sitting area that accommodates 8 very nicely. We had a fabulous time and this was much nicer than staying in individual hotel rooms.
