Loved our weekend visit to Dubuque! We celebrated my sister’s birthday with lots of shopping! Enjoyed the many unique shops and bakery downtown. A must see/ The Fenelon Place Elevator Company which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Had a fun night at Stone Cliff Winery. The home was very clean and comfortable! Beds and pillows were great! Nice kitchen area and the game/ movie room was a plus! We liked the suggestion of Rhodey’s Bar & Restaurant right down the road from the home. 5 ⭐️ Rating from Us!

Everything was as listed. Beds were comfortable and location was great. Nice big kitchen and comfortable furniture. Bathrooms were great. Plenty of hot water for us all to shower in the morning. There are 2 things I would like to have had. 1) Laundry room downstairs was huge! Loved it, but would have been nice to have a clothes bar for hangers since I don’t put jeans and shirts in the dryer. 2) tvs in all the bedrooms, downstairs room and upstairs family room was nice, but we wanted to watch channels like (cbs, nbc, abc, fox, espn) so we could catch local news and watch sports. We don’t have accounts for the apps listed so having DirectTv, Dish, or a Hulu account that we could have accessed would have been wonderful. We had nothing to watch at night except old movies.

Our son is a student at the University of Dubuque and plays football. We travel to Dubuque often and normally stay at hotels. This is a much better option for us... our home away from home. House is great and fully equipped with everything you will ever need. Clean, comfortable and a great location close to everything. Mark and Shelley have been great and this is definitely our go to place when visiting our son. Tip: Do your grocery shopping online at HyVee Locust Street and pick up before heading over to the house (they also deliver) We highly recommend 10/10!

We had 5 adults and 2 kiddos (2 and 4) and each family had their own bedroom, which was very nice. In addition there were a variety of sitting areas, large dining room table, patio table, downstairs family room, upstairs family room and formal front room. The fire pit was very nice, unfortunately we had very hot and humid weather during our stay, so opted for the air conditioning. The kitchen was well supplied with anything you might need, and plenty of bathroom towels in the bathrooms and linen closet. We really enjoyed the house.

Definitely recommend. Big rooms, lots of space. It’s close to the highway so if you want quiet backyard moments, this ain’t it. But everything is in great shape. Happy surprise: they have literally everything you could need to cook your food. Well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, even sugar etc. Would stay here again for sure.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The location is prime to a bunch of great spots. The house fit all of us with no issues. It was very clean and spacious. The owners were in communication with us leading up to our stay and even during. I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed staying here for our family reunion. The house is very clean and easy to find. The kitchen was great-very large refrigerator and well stocked. We used the deck and firepit areas as the weather was nice. The basement laundry room is spacious as well as the 2nd bathroom on the lower level. Very nice cinema room although we didn't use it because the weather was so nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house on the western edge of Dubuque. Very clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen is so well stocked! Beds were comfortable and YAY - they use top sheets (pet peeve of mine these days is places that don't provide top sheets!). The highway (route 20 or Dodge Street) was noisy during the day when outside on the comfy deck out back , but the house's brick construction provided ample sound protection inside. We will definitely look for this place again should we be in need of a place to stay in Dubuque. Owners were very easy to work with (thanks Mark and Shelley!).

We go to Dubuque each year and this is our second time renting this property. We were just as satisfied this time as we were in the past! The hosts reply to messages very quickly, the house is very clean and the new game room is great as well. My daughter left her glasses there and the host contacted us before we even got out of town so we were able to pick them up. If you’re in need of a place to rent in Dubuque, I would definitely recommend this property!

When grandma sold her house and moved into an apartment we needed a way to be able to still get back but not get stuck renting 4 hotel rooms. This house fit perfect! Good location for where we needed to be in dubuque, and plenty of room to accommodate all of us!

This property was in a perfect location. Instructions left by the hosts were crystal clear and easy to follow. They even left a welcome basket with snacks which was so appreciated after a long drive! Communication between the hosts was so easy and quick. No problems at all. Very much enjoyed the basement cinema room and relaxing in big movie chairs.

Our daughter was getting married the weekend we stayed at the house. The house was perfect. Very clean, lots of towels beautiful back yard. We really liked how clean, homey, and comfortable the home is. Conveniently located to everything we came to do. One thing we weren’t expecting, while enjoying the fire pit in the back yard, was the traffic noise. The queen size beds are probably ready to be changed out. We would come back for sure.

The property was a convenient location for our family reunion and close to Target for a few quick errands. The home was very clean and tidy with a well stocked kitchen and nice big kitchen table. An amenity that would be helpful is a medium size mirror in each bedroom to make getting ready in the morning easier. We had 7 adults and 1 baby stay at the home and we were very comfortable using the very nice space.

Came into town to go to Field of Dreams (nothing in Dyersville). Place was very clean and nice. Was able to have family over for a get together. Back deck was perfect with a nice back yard and very private. Would highly recommend.
