About this house rental
Conveniently located within the gates of Breezy Point Resort, this beautifully updated vacation home sleeps six. Golf, fish, swim, boat, and dining - enjoy all the amazing things the Breezy Point area has to offer. Pet friendly! The primary bedroom come with a queen size bed, couch, and television. The second bedroom has a full sized bed and TV. The loft has two twin size beds, and the living room has a full size futon for additional sleeping. Two bathrooms make the space comfortable for groups up to six. This vacation rental is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to enjoy you get away! Games, movie, fire pit, we have it all. You will have full access of the property. This is a twin home, so only half the backyard belongs to this property. We live just around the corner from the property. We will be respectful of your privacy, but if you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask! This property is located within the gates of Breezy Point Resort. The neighborhood consists of vacation rentals, cabins, and year round residence. Must be 25 years or older to rent. Children must be supervised at all times. Pets are allowed with a signed pet agreement and fee paid in full.

Bummer there wasnt any snow or much ice for ice fishing, but had a great time hanging out with the family. Nice place. Very clean.

This was our second year of booking our family “Christmas Cabin” with Todd and Mara but a different property than last year. Their places are very clean and have welcoming touches of Christmas decor which we loved! We also liked the screened in porch for storing our extra storage bins we had for hauling presents, lol and also thought all of the Keurig coffee and hot chocolate pods were a nice touch! The parking was plentiful for all 4 of our SUV’s which was great. We will definitely book again here,

Overall we loved the rental. Everything looked great. Loved the fireplace. Large dining table was great to spread out our holiday meal (we had our daughter, her husband and their son) for Thanksgiving. Good array of items to help with meal prep. (Not much for kitchen towels and hot pads, however.) Nice, large frig/freezer with working ice maker. And, a dishwasher is a big plus. The whole place was overall COZY and welcoming with lots of space to spread out. We would stay here again!
There were a few negatives; 1. Dining chairs need work. One only had one arm, the others were all really loose. 2. Carpet had lots of dark spots. Might need a cleaning. 3. Steps were somewhat hard to navigate as they weren’t deep enough for your foot to fit. 3. Blinds on patio door were missing several slats. 4. Cookware has been mishandled by a lot of renters apparently— the way it looked. But we were still able to use it.

It was a great weekend. Todd and Mara were very responsive to inquiries. The home was well furnished with everything we needed. Location was great! Very clean property. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The loft is pretty low. You have to greatly bend over whenever you are up there. One of the bedrooms is really really small to include the small bed.

We were in Nisswa visiting family and decided to stay at Breezy Point since it was close to where other family stayed. The cabin was clean, had a great coffee selection. Although we didn't utilize it, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. It was unusually warm and the AC worked great.
It was about a 10-minute drive to the shopping/restaurant area in Nisswa.
My only criticism would be that the water pressure for the shower wasn't the best.
Would recommend to others.

This place was wonderful! Clean and just as pictures showed. Equipped with everything we needed. Nice to be right in Breezy Point so we could walk to restaurant and rented a boat slip. Would definitely rent this home again.

We love this home! It was such a special place to share time with family and friends! Just steps away from all of the action-restaurants, gas station/small grocery, coffee shop, ice cream, boat launch, golf and beach. The house is SO CLEAN! We absolutely loved the large bright and cheery kitchen! It was fully stocked with everything that you could need including a Kuerig with pods(such a nice touch). The dining room has a large table for sharing meals and playing games. We spent a ton of time enjoying the screened in porch with some very comfy chairs. We also liked having the firepit. The air conditioning worked great and appreciated the extra fans throughout (just in case). I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home- it made everything about our trip so much better! Thank you Mara & Todd for sharing your home with us! It is clear that you take a great amount of pride in creating a cute and comfortable space for your guests!!! WE WILL BE BACK!

We stayed for a 4 day weekend in June and while the weather was not amazing this cute VRBO fit all of our needs. Very clean, well appointed, had everything we needed and more! Our hosts were responsive but we never needed to contact them during our stay so it was seamless. Totally recommend this cute VRBO.

We stayed for 2 nights and the cabin was great! Walking distance to the lake, restaurants and convenience store. Nice neighborhood to take a walk in the morning, very quiet! Loved the place!

What a lovely cabin for a weekend getaway! My friend and I had planned to celebrate the end of her chemo treatments in February but had to postpone due to a COVID exposure and compromised immune system. The hosts were gracious in allowing us to rebook. We finally got to go on our delayed girls weekend and were thrilled with the cabin. The place was spotless, the kitchen was incredibly well equipped, and beds were comfy, and it was an all-around sweet place. So may thoughtful touches. I would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

We stayed at Mara and Todd's Breezy point Retreat Cabin. What a beautiful place! The kitchen had everything imaginable stocked in it, newly installed gas fireplace. The beds were very comfortable! Just can't say enough about this cabin! Thanks Mara for making us feel so welcome and at home!

Great location - inside of Breezy Point resort - so we were able to walk to Dockside and Coffee place. Easy to get to and check in was so easy. Hosts responded quickly to all questions. The place is so cozy and the updates are amazing. Definitely recommend.

We were in town for a wedding and loved this property. It was spotless and decorated like northern woods. It’s a perfect location within the resort, right by the golf course and other resort ammenties. The space is well utilized and really enjoyed our time there.

We enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our 50th Anniversary with family. About 25 others stayed at a bigger property at Breezy - we enjoyed this quiet, smaller cabin yet were close enough to partake in activities with all.

Only complaint was finding dog hair under the table, which is not the owners fault the cleaning company wasn't diligent .
Gorgeous cabin, the owners provide tons of entertainment (games, dvds, yard games , fire pit, outdoor patio table and books ). Loved staying here and it was only 0.5 miles to the beach with the playground . We will definitely be booking again .
If you've a child they will absolutely love the loft my kids felt like they were up in a tree house and had hours of fun up there .

Great place to stay. No issues other than the kitchen counter needs to be glued - it is wavy. It was a bit of a trek to the lake, so that was the only downside. Had a very enjoyable time. Very impressed with everything included in the kitchen, and loved the firepit. Appreciated that the wood was provided. Thanks so much!
