Excellent stay

Nice location and good space for larger family, but Vacasa didn't manage correctly. Didn't get housekeeping there in time, so delayed our check in for hours after having already bought groceries to start making a nice dinner. Had to sit in the parking lot for hours waiting on the cleaning crew to finish and when we did, we found hair on the floor, some kind of stains on the bed spreads, dishwasher full and dirty. Spent now 15 texts back and forth to get refund of cleaning deposit and the first night, which was confirmed, and still no responses after that.

The condo is literally steps to skiing, tubing, and ice skating. Most convenient parking for skiing on the slope!! Close to the shops and grocery store. Also was a short drive to other activities on our itinerary. But, we checked in at 4:10 to find a dirty condo with food still on the table and dirty sheets on the beds. The cleaning ladies showed up a few minutes later and asked if we still wanted it cleaned. Of course we did! So we left for about 3 hours and came back to a mediocre cleaning and all our towels still in the dryer. The high traffic areas overall could use a “spring cleaning”. The view was not quite as pretty as advertised because across the lake is a view of outbuildings, machinery, and large metal poles. However, above that is a beautiful view of the mountains. As we were leaving I went to start the dishwasher to find out it was broken. Overall, I would stay there again but would bring my own cleaning supplies.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and in a great area. Lots of great upgrades and lots of room. I think my only con was the parking. I am not sure where the second parking spot was located we just ended up parking right behind each other. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed are stay at this condo. It is newly renovated and decorated beautifully. It is right across the street from sugar mountain and is very convenient. This condo had plenty of space for sleeping and was fully stocked in the kitchen. I would most definitely stay at this condo again. Perfect for our quick winter break getaway.🎿⛷️

This condo has a walkable location to Sugar Mountain. It was pretty clean. It had many bedrooms, which was nice. Generally, a great place. I did call that morning to ask if they had soap and shampoo in every bathroom and was told "yes". That was not true. When I called to ask for soap for every bathroom, I was told they had computer probs and would call me back. No one called me back. I got a text asking how everything was; I told them about the soap issue. They said we should have brought extra just in case. Blamed me for something they promised. They also said there were two parking spots, which wasn't really true. There was one parking spot and you could park behind someone. All in all, we enjoyed it though.

We loved this condo! It was a perfect location for our group, and plenty of room with good kitchen supplies! Only concerns were - there is really only room for one suv or truck in front. A smaller car could maybe park in the area near the stairs. Also, none of the smoke alarms were attached which seems to be a safety issue. Other than that as far as comfort and everything else - all great!

Great Location to downtown Banner Elk and surrounding attractions. The layout and floor plan made it conducive for a sizable group. The condo was clean and ready for our group to stay.
Parking was a bit tight with only two allotted spots for the unit. Also the dishwasher stopped functioning on our last night before we left.
All in all I would definitely stay at this location again.

The condo was very roomy, with plenty of room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, and the upstairs bedrooms were well separated from the downstairs, making it great for separating adults from kids... or separating fighting teenagers. The living area was welcoming and had ample space for gathering for conversation, watching TV, playing a game, or putting a puzzel together. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed (we cooked breakfast most mornings and dinner one night during our stay). The mountain view is nice, and there are two balconies (upstairs and living room level) to sit outside and enjoy the mountain air.
Also, everything we needed was provided. Each bedroom/bathroom had towels, shampoo/conditioner, and soap. There was a dish towel, sponge, dish detergent, and dishwasher pods in the kitchen. Every bedroom and the living room was equipped with a roku TV, so we had access to all our streaming services.
The location was nice as well. We were just minutes away from Banner Elk, where we met for white water rafting and zip lining, and Boone is only about 20 minutes away for more dining and entertainment options options. It was also an easy drive over to Grandfather Mountain State Park (~20 minutes) and Linville Caverns (~30 minutes). There is plenty to do in less than a 30 minute drive to keep you busy... and that's in the summer time. It is located just at the bottom of Sugar Mountain, so you can litterally walk over to the ski resort for skiing in the winter.

The place is perfect location near grand father mountain, Lineville falls, and other trails. Grocery stores and other shops were near to this condo within 5-10 min drive. It was family trip, 11 people. We enjoyed staying at snowflake near small pond. The place was just enough for us, plenty of bedding/ pillows and towels. Kitchen was fully supplied with pots and pans. Needs to bring only groceries. Overall, great experience and we relaxed and enjoyed our trip.

Only had two complaints and that was no stopper in the tubs as the ladies would have liked to soak after a day of sking and no key access to the ski closet outside. Called twice about the key and never received a call back.

The place was a perfect fit for our group and well described in the description. The four bedrooms with each having a separate bathroom were very convenient for our group. We had a family of five & another family of four join us for two nights of the stay and everybody had ample space. Each bedroom had its own television so all of the kids were happy. It was a short walk to the ski lifts. The kitchen is stocked with many necessities and utensils, love the Keurig. The Internet had no connection upon arrival but a simple power on/power off reset activated the Wi-Fi. Will definitely consider staying here again.

We had a nice stay. Walk to the ski lifts. Nice kitchen and bedrooms, plenty of space. One problem is that the doors to bedrooms and bathrooms can self-lock, if one closes the door without making sure it is unlocked. Happened 3 times. Other than that, its a perfect ski condo and we will return.
