Each bedroom has its own access to a separate bath. Ellie's Place has an ample curved driveway for your boat or ATV trailer-many cabins don't. Enjoy the NEW hot tub with bluetooth audio in a private, screened porch along with a gas grill for your cookouts. A stone-ringed fire pit woos you to enjoy roasting marshmallows and share family fun. Ellie's Place offers a pool table in the game area, along with other games for family fun. Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need, and then some!!Located in the gated community of Lake Cumberland Resort, Ellie's Place is considered one of the best equipped cabins in the area. The Resort offers 3 outdoor swimming pools and tennis court. Home is within a mile of Keno Boat Ramp and Shooting Range. We absolutely loved Ellie's Place! The cabin had something for everyone from the hot tub, to the projector, pool table, jumbo Jenga, jumbo connect 4 and Cornhole! The property owners were very quick to answer questions and help with whatever we needed. Great family getaway! Definitely will recommend and be back ourselves!

We enjoyed our stay at “Ellie’s Place” immensely! It was laid out perfectly for three sisters whom had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. The hot tub was fabulous as we used it almost every day during our visit! The location was perfect for us and private! We loved drinking coffee in the morning on the screened in porch as well as sipping wine on the porch in the evenings! The gas grill worked great for us to cook our own dinner on our last evening at the cabin! We drove over to Edmonton to see the “Savannah Sippin’ Society” which was an awesome play! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely try to book “Ellie’s Place” again!

This property is perfect for a nice relaxing stay with family or friends. Close to lots of fun- or secluded if you are looking for a “do nothing” weekend. We will keep this little house on our radar for sure!

Celebrated my birthday with friends and family (group of 4) at this beautifully suited cabin. Since we drove from Texas we showed up with very few supplies and found that everything we needed and more was onsite.
Open floor concept upstairs with the kitchen leading onto both porches. Hot tub was definitely well maintained and the view from the back porch provided the best back drop to relax our cares away.
From the kitchen to extra linen and detergent provided to head out with clean clothes, our stay was a dream.
Fire pit downstairs with seating to enjoy the dancing flames in the quiet sounds of nature was a great touch for the Fall nights. We enjoyed visiting the local sights (our favorite was Cumberland Falls) and came home to whip up dinner in the amply equipped kitchen. Projector and speakers provided a nice soundtrack and the picture quality felt like a movie screen.
I cannot say enough about how much we loved our stay but I will say that we are looking forward to visiting again soon!!!

Pros: Beautiful open concept home. It was very spacious to include a bathroom for every bedroom. Very nice hot tub on a screened in back porch. Plenty of in home amenities, like cooking appliances and tools, towels, fans, games. Tons of things. It is very updated and well taken care of, and secluded.
Cons: Very hard to find. The pictures posted on VBRO kind of misleading. I expected to see a lake view and the lake wasn't even close. There are three pools and although there were instructions for where everything was left for us to find things, such as the pool, the instructions were not legible. We spent a good hour going from gate to gate looking for the pools because the one in our area was so small and there were soooooooo many people in it that you couldn't move. The hot tub was great. I wish there was a place to hang towels so you could dry off a bit before going inside. Instead we just sat at the table so we wouldn't get the carpet wet. And while I know that we're staying in the woods, there were waaaaay too many spiders and centipedes for me lurking around the house.
The goal for this trip was to relax and mourn the recent passing of my mom. I got exactly that here. It is a very very beautiful place. It's quiet secluded and relaxing. I don't think I would pay as much as I did, had I known that it wasn't waterfront or that the pools were so small. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.

Ellie's Place was very welcoming and cozy to stay. We all had an amazing time . Even the teenagers loved it here. I really appreciate everything thay have done with this place, essentially making us feel welcomed. One of the teenagers have lost their watch but the owners was so nice and mailed the watch to us. I really appreciated everything and will recommend coming back here.

The place was great! The three of us enjoyed our stay! The area was quiet nobody around. Had plenty of things to keep us occupied the days it rained. Even though the hot tub wasn’t functional over all 8 out of 10 is my rating :)

While there some minor imperfections, we enjoyed our stay overall! Lucky enough to have the pull through driveway so we had room for our boat. House was fully equipped with everything we needed! Only complaint was the thermostat automatically adjusted itself making it quite warm and a bit uncomfortable. And some of the living room furniture and recliners were broken making it difficult to relax comfortably. We will definitely be back to the Lake Cumberland area!!

The moment we pulled up it looked just like the picture. We were impressed with layout of the house. Every room having its own bathroom. Loved the game area. We enjoyed the hot tub so much. There is a lot of scenic things to do around the area. Very quiet and a great getaway. The house has everything you need. Want to come back in summer sometime.

This was hands down the best Vrbo I’ve visited this far! The owners were extremely accommodating and make the whole experience effortless. I highly recommend this cabin! My family and I are planning another return visit!!

Our first glimpse of Ellie’s Place was just as the pictures had represented, very well kept grounds and cabin. My niece and great niece could not get out of the vehicle fast enough to explore the cabin and claim the rooms where they would sleep. Both of them were very excited that the hot tub was ready for them to use, especially after the long drive to get there.
My great niece was also very excited that she was going to have the bedroom with the video gaming chairs, games and movies. My niece claimed the bedroom on the second floor with sliding door access to the screened back porch and hot tub. We all enjoyed the spacious comfortable living room with the wall projector TV and the game room was a lot of fun as well. The kitchen was very nice and had all you could possibly need to prepare meals.
The only drawback for me was having to go up and or down stairs to gain access to the living room/ kitchen areas from inside or outside of the cabin. For anyone with any knee, back issues or mobility problems having to go up and down 14 plus stair steps is not a easy thing.
Overall we had a great time and would recommend this cabin for anyone that doesn’t have any mobility issues..

My girlfriend and I took both sets of parents to this property for Labor Day weekend. We all enjoyed the nicely appointed cabin, along with the pool table and media projector for tv and movies. All these couples had good rooms and their own individual baths. Very nice stay and we’d highly recommend.

The house is beautiful and well taken care of. Everything you could need was there and the house was spotless and clean. The location is close enough to town to get any supplies you may need and yet the private setting makes it very relaxing. We would all highly recommend staying here to anyone.

We stayed at Ellie's Place for a week and lived every minute of it. The house was equipped with everything we needed plus more!.. we had several activities planned but the kids liked the cabin so much we rarely left!.. everything was exceptionally clean as well!.. we will definitely be returning for our next get-a-way!

This was an amazing place to stay for myself and my husband and two other couples. Cleanest place I have ever stayed. It also looked just like the pictures was equipped with more items in the kitchen than all other rentals

Peaceful and spacious
We enjoyed our stay at Ellie’s Place. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms available was a huge plus for our group. Driveway was easy to pull in and out. Pizza down the street was yum- just get there before they close. Cute little shop and ice cream!
Starting supplies were available- I suggest bringing toilet paper as there was only 1 roll for each bathroom. Same recommendation for paper towels. Plenty of dish liquid for our 4 day stay. We were lucky spices were there upon our arrival.
Lots of blankets, pillows and air mattress available plus chairs and a cooler were there. Overall cozy and comfortable.
I leave these recommendations for the owner but do not let it influence your stay as this is a great place to stay!!
Only recommendations I have is more lighting on the back porch near the grill. It was harder for us to see to cook. Also, take a look at the furniture - chair side came off on us and the couch was tough to close— this is for the owner it did not impact our stay at all. Furniture was comfy!! Time to upgrade the towels for a better quality for the guests.
We enjoyed it and would recommend others to stay here!

The projector in the living room was awesome with great sound, nice hot tub, and plenty of games/activities to do! More than enough space for my girlfriend and I so you can easily bring the family! Highly recommended

The house was beautiful inside and out. We enjoyed having camp fires, playing pool, sitting in hot tub, grilling, and watching the projection TV. The T.V. takes awhile to understand but worth figuring it out. We went golfing a few times, checked out Cumberland falls, went hiking at the Natural Arch, rode a train in Stearns, KY at Big South Fork Railway, ate at some really good restaurants like Gutherie's grill (prime rib was excellent), mellow mushroom, and whistle stop restaurant (at the train station). We visited the first week in April so the weather was up and down with one day being almost 70 and the rest was in the 50's-60's with occasional rain. If we would come in the summer we would look into renting a boat. We had no issues with anything. I definitely recommend this listing!
