All five bedrooms are ready for you to drop your luggage off so you can venture out to the wonderful award-winning restaurants, world-class vineyards, boutique shops, trendy cafes, national parks, hiking and walking tracks such as Lake Canobolas and Borenore Caves. The dining and kitchen spaces are appointed with modern appliances and all of the essential amenities you require. Bring your group together in the spacious living areas where you can unwind with a movie or enjoy a local wine or two on the sunny patio accompanied by a BBQ or cheese platter. Take advantage of the amazing views and glorious sunsets offered by your own colourful piece of Orange countryside that surrounds the home. THE LOCATION Windera is located an easy 10 minute drive from Orange's CBD where you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to parks, bars, boutique shopping. cafes and restaurants. The popular 'Agrestic Grocer' is a nearby cafe, that is a wonderful spot for great coffee and local food. There are many vineyards and cellar doors that are as close as 15 minutes by car. COVID-19: This property is professionally cleaned by our team of regular cleaners who have all been trained to maintain our high quality standards in alignment with the Covid-19 Pandemic. BOOKING ENHANCEMENTS: Two days prior to your arrival you will be sent a link to a form where you can request some additional items to make your stay even better! You can request an early check in or a late checkout that we will approve pending availability and the payment of any necessary fees. You can also request other enhancements like a bottle of locally produced wine on arrival. Let us know if you have any questions about this process at any stage! Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire home for the duration of their stay. The Neighborhood: Orange is a beautiful city distinguished by its gorgeous tree-lined streets, charming heritage houses and fresh local produce. Over 80 vineyards surround Orange and produce distinguished cool-climate wines made with passion by our resident winemakers and vignerons. Getting Around: Car or Taxi Other Things to Note: Fireplace: this property has a fireplace that you are more than welcome to use if you wish. Instructions are provided in the Welcome Book in the home and also in your check in details closer to your arrival. Firewood is not provided, however, there are several local providers or you can message us ahead of time and we can help you organise to have some available when you arrive.

The serenity is amazing, the dog enjoyed the freedom, we drove to the local pool for a swim and got to play tennis locally.
Very peaceful, no unnecessary contact take time to enjoy the stars but find a way to keep the mozzies away

House was lovely, especially for our two families, great outdoor space to sit and watch the sun go down over looking the rolling hills. Layout of house was great with bedrooms on each end of the house which gave each family privacy. The house is located 10 minutes out of Orange which was perfectly positioned to really feel like you where in the quiet of the country but only a short drive to wineries and the centre of town.

No disappointments from us. Very clean, modern, beautiful outlook and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and would be staying here again. Staff are very helpful. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here in the April school holidays. The owners had thought of everything and the house was warm and easy to stay in. The surrounds were beautiful and the whole family and dog had a fabulous time.

This was a family and friends getaway for the June long weekend '22. 3 X couples, 2 x singles. 5 bedrooms used for the weekend.
I had expressed some concerns regarding the recent reviews on the Stayz site about the property and had emailed the bnb property managers and was informed that if anything needed attending they would be available to communicate with during our stay.
The property is lovely, it's clean and for us it was perfectly located with pretty, country views. Our family and friends like to go for runs and walks and the private roadway in this mini farm subdivision gave us a 7km loop without any traffic and lots of farm animals to look at along the way. There was a gorgeous horse Tyson at the end of the driveway belonging to the neighbouring property which received lots of pats and carrots from us.
The house is modern, clean, stylish and looks exactly like the photos. We cooked all our meals at home, the big dining table and kitchen were perfect. It was too cold for a bbq but the outdoor entertaining area looks very inviting. The fireplace had plenty of wood and the general supplies of everything in the house was great.
A few problems:
The toilet door handle was broken when we arrived, which was the share bathroom for 5 x people and when we immediately contacted the BNB property manager they said it couldn't be fixed while we were there - the earliest they could get someone out was Monday when we were leaving. We had to come up with our own interim solution for the door which was not ideal and we had to spend some time doing a quick repair while we were there on holiday. The property would benefit from an extra toilet for the number of people it can accommodate.
There was no electric blanket on one of the beds and given that the rooms are cold at night this was a problem for the guest who had that room.
The drain was blocked in the share bathroom and one of the guests had to lift the drain and pull out the large lump of hair from previous guests which was very unpleasant but needed to be done to have a functioning shower.
The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch on arrival.
We had booked a local tour company for a wine tour - Country Food Trails and that added to our fun time in Orange.
The property is pet friendly and one of the guests had brought their greyhound and that worked just fine.
If you are visiting, check to see if the Orange markets are on. Restaurants need to be booked well ahead.

Needs a good clean
First impressions - looked awful, lawns unkept, grass so high around the property. Once inside, noticed cobwebs on the windows, dead flies on most windows sills. Dirty rag just hanging on a chair as you walk outside. Sewerage smell in the main bedroom. Bins were overflowing with rubbish, gas bottle was empty for the BBQ, no dishwashing tablets, coffee was hard as a rock in the canister, no sugar, no toilet paper, empty hand soaps in the bathrooms. This house was lovely, but just unkept and unstocked. On the positive note, management were quick to fix the stocking issues with a gas bottle and lots of other goodies delivered. Very happy with their service.

Large and spacious
Windera was perfect for us, we stayed as two families, and the layout of the house with two collections of bedrooms at each end and a large living/kitchen/dining common area in the middle worked really well. The spacious covered area at the back was great for relaxing and BBQing. The kids enjoyed meeting Tyson and giving him pieces of carrot.
